Xavante society, well-known for its dual structural aspects, provides the best documented example of a formal age-group system in South America. Although the basic features of the Xavante secular age-group system were previously described, a second age-group system in the spiritual domain is presented here for the first time. In this paper, I describe the Xavante spiritual life cycle, including a structural dynamic whereby age sets pass through age grades in alternate fashion, allocating them between two moieties. That basic morphology is shared with the secular age-group system and attests to a Xavante logic of hierarchy and symmetry as mutually constructed and non-contradictory. Interactions between the spiritual and secular age-group systems manifest in the daily experience of spiritual participants in ways that suggest plurality and contingency are essential features of Xavante social organization.

Hereditary Antithrombin III (AT III) deficiency was found in a large Hindustani family, living partly in the Netherlands, partly in Suriname. Of 201 members investigated 35 were found to affected: AT III activity (chromogenic substrate) and AT III antigen (immuno-electrophoresis according to Laurell) were about 45 %. Analysis of this fanily clearly demonstrated the autosomal dominant inheritance of the condition. Six non-investigated members (1 living, 5 non-living) were diagnosed as being affected on the basis of affected offspring.Seventeen affected members had no signs of thrombo-embolic(TE) processes (age group 0-10 years old, n=2; 11-20, n=5; 21-30, n=4; 31-40, n=4; 41-50, n=2). Thirteen showed clinical or proven signs of TE processes (first time in age group 0-10 years old, n=0; 11-20, n=l; 21-30, n=G; 31-40, n=4; 41-50,n=l; 51-60, n=0; 61-70, n=l). No clinical information is yet available on the remaining affected members. Deep venous thrombosis (DVT) occurred in 9 patients (age group 21-30, n=5; 31-40, n=3; 61-70, n=l). Triggering factors were none 4, surgery 1, oral contraceptives and preg- nancy4. Pulmonary embolism occurred in 6 patients (2 clinical, 4 proven) and was fatal in 4; ages were 19, 21, 26, 37, 48 and 68 years old. Pregnancy was uncomplicated in 3 women (total of 4 pregnancies), one of these women was treated prophylactically with anticoagulants during pregnancy (1 pregnancy). Two women (9 pregnancies) had a thrombotic episode (1st and 3rd pregnancy respectively) and 1 woman died suddenly 7 days after her 7th childbirth. DVT occurred in 2 of 4 women who used oral contraceptive pills. In some symptomless patients (age 22, 26, 32, 33, 40 years old) impedance plethysmography (n=5), 125I-fibrinogen leg scanning (n=3), 125I-fibrinogen T½(n=3) and 51C-platelet survival (n=l) were normal

Complex financial conversion projects with large budgets have many different challenges. For companies that want to survive in conditions of tough competition, legacy (old) systems must continue to provide the required service throughout the project life cycle and in some circumstances even after project completion partly. In this case, the term coexistence comes into prominence. During this period, testing phase takes more critical role while integration systems' complexity and risk amount increase. Determining testing approach to use is essential to make sure both transformed and legacy systems provide service synchronously. In this paper, testing practices applied in the long conversion processes are discussed. Primarily, the basic features of the critical financial systems are addressed and then the main adoption methods in the literature are summarized. Then a variety of testing methodologies are presented depending on those adoption methods. These samples based on real-life experiences of transformation project. The most extensive example of real-time online financial systems is core banking systems. This paper covers the testing life cycle process of the large scale project of core banking system transformation project of a bank in Turkey.

Lobosphaera reniformis (Wat.) Kom. et Fott (=Chlorella reniformis Wat.) so far known only from Japan, and Papua Island, was for the first time found in Antarctica (King George Island, South Shetland Islands). In laboratory cultures a complete life cycle was obtained, and most of its stages were followed by the electron microscopy. Reproduction is by morphologically different autospores. In some large vegetative cells two Golgi apparatuses lying side by side were observed.

Bronchoscopic foreign body removal is a potentially dangerous and challenging procedure in pediatric surgery. bronchoscopy under general anaesthesia is the gold standard of diagnosis and management of foreign body aspiration. A large ventilating channel and better control over the tip of the instrument and cheaper instrument are the merits of rigid bronchoscopy over flexible one. Traditionally a rigid tube alone is used for this purpose which has extreme limitations of vision and it is risky. Foreign body aspiration typically occurs in 6 to 18 month age and the size of glottis is very small at this age. In Indian children who are small and malnourished the large assembly of sheath and telescope mounted forceps does not pass through the glottis. To overcome the limitations of the traditional equipment I designed my own bronchoscopy equipment by my 15 year of experience in bronchoscopy. This type of device is reported for the first time in medical literature and patent is filed for it at Mumbai office.

In this article, for the first time, the distribution of well-known strategies and tactics of competitive actions by stages of the lifecycle according to the model of D. Miller and P. Friesen is carried out, which allows to provide a more accurate description of the competitive activity of an organization at different stages of its development. Tactics and strategy are closely related, and there is a need for their gradation in the context of the characteristics of the stages of the organization’s life cycle. This study is especially relevant in the period of the COVID-19 pandemic, where tactical models of competition play a special role in accordance with the selected strategies in the field of restaurant services. During the analysis of the activities of restaurant service establishments at different stages of the life cycle, certain patterns in the competitive actions of the organization were identified, which can be compared with the strategies and tactics of competition. The criteria for determining the stage of development of the organization, which determine the conduct of competitive processes, are given. Each stage of the organization’s life cycle is characterized: birth, development, maturity, flourishing, decline on the example of the restaurant services sector. It shows how organizations apply different strategies and tactics of competitive actions within each stage of the life cycle, as well as during the transition from one stage to another. The use of this article can help restaurant businesses by applying the developed matrix of tactical models of competition at various stages of the organization’s life cycle within the framework of a competitive strategy in the practical activities of the organization. Thus, the result of successful implementation of the strategy and tactical models is an increase in the number of potential guests, including permanent ones, and an increase in investment, production, sales and other opportunities.

Objective: To evaluate the neuropsychological maturity in children from 3 to 6 years old in a private school in the city of Tunja in order to design a program of neuropsychological correction. Materials and methods: An observational, descriptive and comparative study was conducted in 46 children with an average age of 57 months on the basis of the mental functions of the neurodevelopment proposed by Portellano, Mateos and Martínez and was evaluated using CUMANIN and a medical history. The data received a statistical treatment of calculating the averages and deviations from the average value of the test adapted to the Colombian context, an analysis using the Statistical T of Student with the results obtained in the application and a comparison of results by age group. Results: The results indicate lower scores in the age group of 55-78 months compared to the age group of 36 to 42 months. No significant differences by gender were found. 63% of the participants obtained scores below the expected in at least two of the areas evaluated. Conclusion: The data obtained justify the design of a neuropsychological correction program.
