Abstract Coastal management is an important issue for most regions of the world. This is because the initial activities in the fisheries and marine sector began in this area, ranging from capture fisheries, aquaculture, processing of fishery products to marketing. But in reality the management of coastal areas is not optimal and evenly distributed, even though fishery and marine resources have high economic and ecological value, as happened in the coastal area of Torokeku Village. This study aims to determine the appropriate community development approach strategy through the eco blue sea concept in order to maintain fisheries and marine resources found in the coastal area of the Bajo tribal community in Torokeku Village, South Konawe Regency. The research was conducted using descriptive qualitative analysis method. Collecting data through direct survey techniques in the field. The results obtained show that community-based coastal area management by seeking the development of coastal communities can be carried out through structural and non-structural approaches, so that in order to maintain these resources, their management must be carried out in a planned and integrated manner and able to provide the greatest benefit to all stakeholders, especially coastal communities, and minimize impacts and conflicts that may potentially occur.

Economic improvement and development, of course, require the role of humans who drive the economy. Superior resources will improve the regional economy. In increasing the quality of superior human resources, it is necessary to develop through training in the form of development. The development program is expected to improve people's lives. Therefore, at a more operational level, development through the community empowerment process generally uses a community-based development approach. The results of the research that has been carried out by the PPM FT UNISMA Bekasi Team Activities for the 2018 period are expected to be a pioneer in the implementation of PPM activities as a form of partnership between FT UNISMA Bekasi and the Village / Kelurahan Government of Harapan Jaya and Mustika Jaya, Bekasi City. Therefore, it is hoped that it can become the basis for subsequent programs, especially for improving the quality of development in these two locations

Abstract The Environment Agency of Surakarta City noted that the volume of waste in 2021 reached 92,436 tons. Plastic waste accounts for 13.39 percent of the total waste generated in Surakarta City. This threatens nature sustainability and bears negative impacts on human health. Using infographic media, the Visual Communication Design Department of Universitas Sebelas Maret held a campaign about the danger of using plastic packaging and cutlery as an effort to save the environment in Surakarta. Research and Development approach using ADDIE model was used in developing the media. The creation of infographics was carried out in five steps of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. After being disseminated, positive attention and response were received through social media from the younger generation. The results also encourage the emergence of community-based movements engaged in environmental conservation programs.

The role and function of the mosque in rural Takmir often still dwell on the management and service, has not touched on the empowerment efforts of pilgrims. Takmir Mosque has the opportunity to develop community based education. In this case the role of the college in the mentoring of the mosque Takmir indispensable. This mentoring uses an ABCD (asset based community Development) approach conducted in Jatipunggur Lengkong Nganjuk village. The result of mentoring managed to realize community based education in the form of empowering the mosque Takmir to build worshippers in terms of the care of the body and to overcome femininity problems. This achievement can be achieved because the process of mentoring from the stage of social analysis, planning, implementation and evaluation is done with all the mosque stakeholders. Abstract. The potential of weather radar observations for hydrological and meteorological research and applications is undisputed, particularly with increasing world-wide radar coverage. However, several barriers impede the use of weather radar data. These barriers are of both scientific and technical nature. The former refers to inherent measurement errors and artefacts, the latter to aspects such as reading specific data formats, geo-referencing, visualisation. The radar processing library wradlib is intended to lower these barriers by providing a free and open source tool for the most important steps in processing weather radar data for hydro-meteorological and hydrological applications. Moreover, the community-based development approach of wradlib allows scientists to share their knowledge about efficient processing algorithms and to make this knowledge available to the weather radar community in a transparent, structured and well-documented way.

Orientation: World inequality is growing and tourism contributes to it; an alternative option is, therefore, needed towards a more just and redistributive approach to this industry.Purpose: The aim is to propose that there is a need to advance the tourism sector to be more in line with community-based tourism (CBT) principles and practices.Motivation of the study: The current tourism system exists within the more general neoliberal milieu. Alternative tourism forms are also often co-opted and circumscribed by a neoliberal framework. The issue is to a find a possible solution to advance a tourism development approach that enhances a decrease in inequalities.Research design, approach and method: The article is a review paper.Main findings: The results propose that the actual system of the tourism sector is in line with neoliberal milieu and does not militate against various inequalities (it, in fact, supports them). Therefore, a tourism development approach more based on CBT principles and practices is advocated. Practical/managerial implication: A shift in the tourism development approach is proposed, reflecting the need to establish new policies and management structures that are fundamentally based on CBT principles and practices.Contribution/value add: The article contributes to the literature related to the role of tourism in development, specifically debating matters related to the relationship between tourism, neoliberalism and alternative tourism. In addition, the article also deals with the debate on CBT.
