The securities market is considered as a part of the financial market. Today, the securities market has become the main object of research for many economists and scientists. One of the main reasons for this trend is that in the context of globalization of the world's economies, the main tool for the development of the financial sector of the state's economy is the development of the securities market. As a result of the modern process of globalization, the financial markets of States are becoming closer and more dependent on each other. The formation and organization of the securities market of the Republic of Kazakhstan began after the country gained its sovereignty. One of the main features of the formation of the domestic securities market during this period is the use of foreign experience of developed countries by the state

Five countries became members of the Eurasian Economic Union – an international organization of regional economic integration. The Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Belarus signed the international Treaty in the city of Astana, Kazakhstan on May 29, 2014. The Republic of Armenia and the Kyrgyz Republic acceded to the Treaty later. Harmonized regulation of financial markets should be one of the initial areas of cooperation, with the aims of creating a single financial services market within the EAEU and ensuring non-discriminatory access to the national financial markets of each of the member states. The EAEU member states have already entered into the initial stage of developing the Eurasian common market in financial services. A considerable part of the work should be carried out by a supranational financial market regulation body, which is to be established by 2025 according to the EAEU Treaty. Such financial integration in the EAEU has only been in progress for a limited time period and many of the key steps are yet to be done. The existing national-markets development level is highly non-homogeneous and is in need of further development. In such circumstances, a relevant question related to the study of foreign experience arises. European Union started to form its single financial services market in 1973, and since then it has gained certain experience in financial markets integration. This research paper is dedicated to the issue of necessity and possibility of using the EU experience in the course of the EAEU Single market development. The issue will be addressed in terms of political, legal, academic, and practical aspects. The article is of a general, theoretical legal character, which is why emphasis will be placed on legal and doctrinal questions. Special attention will be paid to an analysis of the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty and its Protocols. The work will be based on the academic research and opinions of Russian and foreign authors.

AbstractThis article seeks to explain the lack of the development of contemporaneously ‘modern’ money and credit markets in the 18th to 19th century economy of India. Borrowing from the literature on property rights, it demonstrates that the emergence of ‘modern’, and state-connected money markets was the result of a certain kind of power relationship between rulers and financial capital holders where the two were forced to mutually cooperate; financial systems represented the institutionalization of this mutual cooperation. Specific kinds of ‘colonialism’ represent just one special case of a relationship where the latter did not obtain. The article thus proposes a mechanism though which the spread of European capital could have retarded financial market formation in now-developing areas with otherwise considerable concentration of ‘native’ mercantile capital.

The financial market of the Republic of Belarus is traditionally considered to be quite developed in relation to states with an emerging market. However, the analysis of the main macroeconomic indicators of the national economy development and financial depth indicators indicates that the market potential is not fully realized to ensure the country's economic growth. The purpose of the research is to identify the main directions for improving the financial market of Belarus within the framework of the Eurasian economic integration. The methodological basis of the research was analytical reviews, regulatory legal acts, scientific research on the study of problems and prospects for the development of the financial market of the Republic of Belarus. The study used the methods of dialectics, formal logic and systems analysis, in particular, general logical methods of analysis, analogies, methods of description and comparison, statistical methods to assess the dynamics of the Belarussian financial market development and substantiate proposals for its improvement. The main hypothesis of the research was the assumption that improving the Belarussian financial market development will stimulate the country's economic growth and create conditions for deepening the Eurasian economic integration on the way to creating a common financial market of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter – the EAEU). Presentation of the main material. The financial market of Belarus is currently operating in the conditions of Eurasian economic integration and is involved in the active process of harmonizing the national legislations of the EAEU member states to create a common financial market. The Belarusian financial market development will stimulate the country's economic growth, that’s why it’s important to achieve a sufficient level of financial depth. The paper analyzes the main indicators of the financial depth of the Belarussian financial market in 2011-2020. The main problems of the country's financial market development have been identified and a set of measures to improve it has been proposed. The originality and practical significance is confirmed by the proposed directions for improving the Belarusian financial market within the framework of the Eurasian economic integration. Conclusions and prospects for further research. The financial market of the Republic of Belarus is dynamically developing and quite sustained, however, its potential is not being fully realized. The structural imbalance of the market is manifested in the dominance of the banking sector, in which a significant part of the savings of individuals and legal entities is concentrated. It’s necessary to reduce the active participation of the state in the redistribution financial resources to close the gaps in institutional development. The implementation of the proposed set of measures to improve the Belarusian financial market in the context of the formation of a common financial market of the EAEU member states will create a stable, transparent and liquid national financial market. Further research will focus on the development of a strategy for the development of the financial market of the Republic of Belarus in the course of the formation of a common financial market of the EAEU states.
