The study aims to determine whether work motivation affects teacher performance, discipline influences teacher performance, and teacher interpersonal communication affects teacher performance. Also, this research explores the prominent factors that influence teacher performance. This research was conducted at Samarinda Middle School with a sample of 60 randomly selected teachers from six Junior High Schools in Samarinda. The data were collected using a questionnaire, followed by interviews with five teacher representatives from each school. Furthermore, the data were analyzed by path analysis. The findings indicate that: (1) work motivation had a direct positive effect on teacher performance, (2) work discipline had a direct positive influence on teacher performance, (3) teacher interpersonal communication had a direct effect on teacher performance, and (4) the most dominant influential factor on teacher performance was teachers’ interpersonal communication.

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance of teachers in learning SMP Negeri in Bengkalis Regency. The population sample in this study is amounted to 56 people. They are all teachers who are Civil Servants who teach at Bengkalis Regency Public Junior High Schools consisting of Public Junior High Schools in Bukit Batu District and State Junior High Schools in Bandar Laksamana District. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive quantitative and path analysis. The results of the study show: 1) the work climate has an effect on teacher job satisfaction by 43.1%; 2) work motivation has an effect on teacher job satisfaction by 42.5%; 3) work climate has an effect on teacher performance by 35.3%; 4) work motivation has an effect on teacher performance by 32.7%; 5) job satisfaction has an effect on teacher performance by 26.0%; 6) work climate has an effect on teacher performance through job satisfaction of 11.2%; 7) work motivation has an effect on teacher performance through job satisfaction of 11.0%. The meaning is that if the work climate has good quality, is comfortable, and pleasant, it will lead to satisfaction for a teacher, and this will trigger the teacher's enthusiasm in teaching which will have an impact on improving teacher performance.

This study purposed to examine the influence of teacher’s social competence and work motivation toward teacher performance in managing classes. This research was causality research with a quantitative approach. The sample of this research consisted of 100 junior high school teachers. The instrument in collecting data was questionnaire. The data analysis technique consisted of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Descriptive statistic described the result. Inferential statistics consisted of two tests, (1) assumption test consisted of normality, linearity, and independency, (2) hypothesis test used multiple linear regression. The result of this research indicated that (1) social competence had a positive influence toward teacher performance in managing classes with a correlation coefficient of 0.584 and a significance of 0.000 and the influence exerted based on an R Square determination score was 37.20% (2) Work motivation had a positive influence toward teacher performance in managing classes where the correlation coefficient score was 0.38 with a significance was 0.000 and the influence based on the R Square determination score was 13.60%. (3) social competence and work motivation together had a positive influence on teacher performance in managing classes at Junior high schools in Muara Bangkahulu Sub-District in Bengkulu City with R Square determination coefficient of 0.417.

The aim of the research is to find out the influence of work motivation, work discipline and interpersonal communication on teacher’s performance. This research was conducted at Junior High Schools in Samarinda Ulu Sub-district, Samarinda City with the total sample of 105 people. This research applied survey method and the data were collected using questionnaire with four instruments namely teacher performance, work motivation, work discipline and interpersonal communication of the teachers. The findings showed that there was an influence of work motivation (X1), work motivation (X2) and interpersonal communication (X3) on teacher’s performance (Y) with the coefficient of regression equation: Y = 8.196 + 0.780X1 + 0.148X2 + 0.087X3. The coefficient of Determination (R2) was 0.955 meaning that the contribution of working discipline, working motivation and interpersonal communication of the teacher on teacher’sperformance was 95.5%. Based on the research findings, it is concluded that the teacher performance in the junior high schools in Samarinda Ulu Sub-district, Samarinda City can be increased by the increase of work motivation, work discipline and interpersonal communication of the teachers.

The sample of this study used 195 respondents. Data were collected from four variables which were examined and analyzed using correlation and regression techniques. The results of this study indicate that (1) Interpersonal communication has a positive influence on performance, (2) Work ethic has a positive influence on teacher performance, (3) Performance has a positive influence on teacher job satisfaction and (4) Interpersonal communication, work ethics and leadership styles together have a positive influence together on teacher performance. These variables show that there is a positive relationship to teacher performance and thus all hypotheses in this study were accepted. Keywords: Interpersonal communication; work ethics; leadership; teacher’s performance.

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the principal's leadership, organizational climate and work motivation on teacher performance in Vocational Schools in North Halmahera Regency both partially and simultaneously. Data from the analysis in this study shows that the Principal Leadership is in the good category in the implementation task. Besides that, the organizational climate shows good creation of a safe, comfortable atmosphere and hangs up the fun learning process. While work motivation both internal and external encouragement reaches the desired expectations. Based on multiple regression tests partially shows that the leadership of the principal, organizational climate does not have a positive influence on teacher performance. While work motivation has a positive and partial effect on the performance and simultaneously leadership of the principal, organizational climate, work motivation of this variable together have a positive effect on teacher performance.

The purpose of this research is  to  determine the influence of managerial ability and creativity on headmaster’s decision making in Junior High School of Counties and Tangerang City.             The research used survey method with path analysis applied in testing hypothesis. Technique of data collecting is using instrument in the form of questionnaire. The number of 60 headmaster’s as sample by simple was selected random sampling. The result of this research indicated that : 1) there is a direct positive effect of managerial ability to headmaster’s decision making, 2) there is a direct positive effect of creativity to headmaster’s decision making and 3) there is a direct positive effect of managerial ability to creativity.

This study looks into the impact of the principal's democratic leadership style on teacher performance in junior high schools in Palopo City's Bara District. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of research is ex-post facto. The population is all junior high school teachers in the Bara sub-district of Palopo city, totaling 134 people. Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique. The sample used was 39 teachers—data obtained through questionnaires and documentation. Furthermore, the research data were analyzed statistically using data processing, namely: Descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. This study found that the democratic leadership style displayed by the principal has a strong influence and significance on the performance of teachers in SMP/MTs in Bara District, Palopo City. This is because the leadership style displayed by the principal through several indicators can provide a significant enough stimulant to the teacher so that teachers' work motivation can increase adequately, which impacts the achievement of educational and learning goals in schools. This study implies the importance of the leadership style displayed by the principal in building teacher motivation and commitment in schools to generate optimal teacher performance in schools.
