Objective. The authors of this article studied and analyzed the sanitary condition of the soil in the territory of Astrakhan State Technical University and the nearby territories of higher educational institutions. Materials and methods. The study was carried out in May June 2019 on the basis of the laboratory of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology of Astrakhan State Medical University and the laboratory of the Department of Applied Biology and Microbiology of Astrakhan State Technical University. Thirty soil samples were taken from these territories. The studies of soil samples for parasitological indicators were performed according to the guidelines "Control Methods. Biological and Microbiological Factors. Methods of Sanitary and Parasitological Research", for microbiological indicators "Methods of Soil Microbiological Control". Results. The following results were obtained: the sanitary-parasitological condition of the soil in parks near higher educational institutions in Astrakhan remains very tense as evidenced by positive findings of geohelminthoses; when assessing the degree of epidemic hazard of soil, there were identified nematode eggs and adult worm Strongyloids, that corresponds to the indicators of moderately hazard soil; the presence of live strongylid larvae in the studied samples indicates contamination of the soil with feces of infested animals, and the presence of Ascaris eggs indicates contamination of the soil with sewage or feces of infested children walking and resting in these territories; the total microbial number on average gave indicators for evaluating the selected soil samples as a slightly polluted soil. Conclusions. The sanitary and parasitological state of soil in parks of Astrakhan higher educational institutions remains rather tense as evidenced by positive findings of geohelminthoses.

Civic identity is one of the most integrating systems, reflecting a wide range of different spheres of society's life, through which self-determination of the individual as a citizen of his country is carried out. The purpose of this work is to identify and compare the features of the civic identity of students of medical, humanitarian and technical higher educational institutions in the city of Saratov. The article is the first to consider the problem of the formation of civic identity of students of various universities from the standpoint of the analysis of cognitive, emotional and behavioral components. An experimental statistical study was carried out, in which 57 students took part. Based on the data obtained, the prevailing social value orientations of students of a humanitarian university, social-role value orientations of students of a medical university, as well as hedonistic value orientations of students of a technical university were revealed. The results of the study indicate that the constituent components of civic identity among students of a technical university are formed at a significantly lower level in comparison with students of other universities. The highest level of communicative potential is observed among students of a humanitarian university, and the lowest — among students of a technical university. The lowest level of behavioral regulation was formed among students of a technical university. Reduce the level of civic identity, namely its behavioral and emotional components, social introversion and psychasthenia; in addition, the behavioral component decreases due to an increase in the severity of depressive personality traits. The formation of the cognitive component of civic identity among students of humanitarian, medical and technical universities is associated with an adequate perception of reality.

Federal State Educational Standards for Higher Education of the third generation are aimed at achieving harmonization between the needs of modern production and the tasks set by higher educational institutions for the training of highly qualified specialists. The paper discusses the need to find and apply new, interactive teaching methods and technologies in the educational process of higher education institutions. To solve practical problems or problems in the process of teaching foreign languages, a project methodology is proposed that promotes an independent acquisition of knowledge and their integration from various subject areas. Lapbook technology as one of many design techniques appeals to the creative activity of students personality. The main provisions of this technology are analyzed as a means of complex development of all types of speech activity in academic and professional interaction with students of a technical university in a foreign language. Characteristics (goal, tasks, developed competencies), basic parameters of students activities are described, an approximate structure for the development of subject and meta-subject skills at the stages of the lesson is developed. The development and application of training sessions using Lapbook technology in the framework of teaching a foreign language in higher educational institutions will undoubtedly contribute to the achievement of the tasks set by the new Federal State Educational Standards for Higher Education.

Introduction. The important factors affecting health and performance of young people are the conditions of education, in particular, a comfortable microclimate in the classrooms of higher educational institutions. Materials and methods. In view of the urgency of this problem, an analysis was made of the microclimate parameters of educational organizations of different profiles (Ufa city, the Republic of Bashkortostan). 294 classrooms were studied in 22 buildings of 4 leading universities in Ufa. A total of 3,822 measurements were taken to determine the parameters of the microclimate. The analysis of ionizing radiation in the aerial environment of classrooms. There was performed determination of radon and its affiliated products content. In order to assess the conditions and lifestyle of students of 4 higher educational institutions of the city of Ufa, we conducted an anonymous survey of 1,820 students of I and IV years of education. Results. The average temperature in the classrooms of all universities studied was 23.9±0.09 C. The average relative humidity in all classrooms was 34.2 ± 0.42%. Analysis of ionizing radiation (radon and its daughter products decay) in the aerial environment of the classrooms and sports halls located in the basement determined that the average annual equivalent equilibrium volumetric activity of the radon daughter products (EROA ± Δ222Rn) ranged from 28 ± 14 to 69 ± 34.5 meter, which meets the requirements established by SanPiN. Conclusion. The hygienic assessment of the microclimate parameters of educational institutions of various profile revealed a number of deviations from the regulated norms. The results indicate the need to control the parameters of the microclimate, both from the administration of universities, and from the professors. According to the results of the study, recommendations were prepared for the management of higher educational institutions in Ufa.
