The development of skills that allow children to perform satisfactorily in their training process and, later, in their work or social life, has become an objective for all educational and training models developed. This article deals with the relationship between thinking development skills, shared mental models and abstraction mechanisms, from a theoretical review and application with children aged between eight and twelve, from the Childprogramming methodology in a public education institution in Colombia. The results recorded at the end of the practices with this group of students, especially when assessing the progressive use of abstraction mechanisms in the Scratch environment, are presented, using the Dr. Scratch platform.

New technologies, such as the TICs, systems of artificial intelligence, scanning, connectivity, nanotechnology, and biotechnology, among others, have transformed the national productive structures and human capital that require technologies disruptive today. In this context, education has become the main element of the knowledge society and training of human capital that demands a knowledge-based economy. The objective of the chapter is to analyze the relationship between human capital formations in the construction of a society of knowledge in Mexico. The structure is organized in three sections: 1) an analysis of the knowledge society, 2) the formation of human capital and the institutions of higher education in the knowledge society, and 3) human capital formation and its relationship in the construction of a society of knowledge in Mexico.

The research aims to identify the business ethics and their role in achieving the performance efficiency. Research descriptive and analytical approach were used. To identify the variables a tool has designed For data collection, consisting of (30) paragraph and its representing the paragraphs of business ethics and the performance efficiency. The outcomes of Questionnaire were analyzed and distributed to the administration staff at the presidency of Zakho University which it were (44) statistical forms and displayed by (SPSS) using statistical forms average, standard deviations, and the relationship between the Line and influence. Descriptive analysis of the variables business ethics shown that the degree of overall variable agreement reached (62.28%). also the degree of overall variable agreement of performance efficiency reached (46.67%). Based on the research test and its hypo thesis research found there were a significant correlation between business ethics and efficient performance at all level. The existence of moral effect were found in business ethics in the performance efficiency at all level. Based on the conclusion a subjections has set, the most important subject to everyone wither they are academics or employs in the education institution. Research sample shad work to gather to determine the works ethics and to give more attention in how to continue to apply the moral control and its elements, also to focus on compliance with regulation as model for the application of work ethic because of its role in enhancing the performance of the institution operations. All the powers would assist them must be given to wards a achieving the goals also in order to address the problem of the low level of performance. And develop their abilities and improve their performance also participating in scientific conferences, seminars and training programs specialized in quality of performance.

The effects of shared mental models on the relationship between episodic team behavioral processes and performance were investigated, while teams were using an experimentally stimulated construction project planning program. The results indicated that episodic team processes made positive contributions to the team performance. Furthermore, a hierarchical linear regression indicated that the convergence of shared teamwork mental models moderated the effects of team processes on team performance. Specifically, the positive impact of team processes on performance was found to be improved for those teams who shared more similar teamwork mental models than for teams who hold fewer similar teamwork mental models. Potential implications and relevant impacts on future research are discussed.

In this article, we present the findings of a mixed-methods study of correctional officers’ views on the introduction of body-worn cameras (BWCs) within prisons. Using a statewide survey and in-depth interviews with correctional officers in Queensland, Australia, this study explored officer support for BWCs and the relationship between officer support and several key variables. We found widespread support for the use of BWCs among correctional officers. Female officers and those who held more positive views about the perceived functionality of BWCs and the implementation and training process were most supportive. However, the introduction of BWCs also raises some important considerations for prison management that may impact officer support, including whether to allow officers to access BWC footage for report writing or officer training. Consideration must also be made regarding turn-on policies for BWCs given concerns that more frequent recording has the potential to damage rapport with incarcerated individuals.

COVID-19 was declared a pandemic on March 11, 2020. With the COVID-19 crisis, new problem areas have appeared in many areas such as business, trade, social life, education, and the health sector in countries where it is effective. One of the areas where this limitation and new problems arise is the field of education. States have imposed restrictions in education and training to reduce the rate of the pandemic's spread and have suspended face-to-face education. Firstly, Turkey closed the schools for a while and then the government announced “distance learning” efforts. However, distance education has not been fully settled in both the learners and teachers. This study aims to handle education policies in Turkey during the COVID-19 pandemic and try to examine possible solutions for problem areas, which existed because of the pandemic. For this purpose, with a descriptive method, the subject was examined. Because of the changing spirit of the pandemic, this study focused on the education policy from March 1, 2020 to March 1, 2021.

In this commentary, we extend Sirmon, Arregle, Hitt, and Webb's work in this issue by introducing shared mental models as antecedents of threat of imitability recognition and as moderators of the relationship between threat recognition and strategic action. Specifically, while Sirmon, Arregle, Hitt, and Webb focus on responses to threat recognition, we develop propositions on how shared mental models related to business issues affect the threat recognition process and on how shared mental models related to family issues influence strategic responses to recognized threats. Implications and areas for future research are discussed.

This study was aimed at capturing the components comprising shared mental models (SMM) and the training methods used to address SMM in one athletic program context. To meet this aim, two soccer coaches from the same collegiate program were interviewed and observed extensively during practices and games throughout the 2009–2010 season. In addition, documents (e.g., players’ positioning on free kicks sheet) from the soccer program were reviewed. The data were analyzed inductively through a thematic analysis to develop models that operationalize SMM through its components, and training. Game intelligence and game philosophy were the two main operational themes defining SMM. Moreover, four themes emerged for SMM training: (a) the setting, (b) compensatory communication, (c) reinforcement, and (d) instruction. SMM was embedded within a more comprehensive conceptual framework of team chemistry, including emotional, social, and cognitive dimensions. Implications of these conceptual frameworks are considered for sport psychologists and coaches.
