Abstract. The cluster approach is now a credible proven tool for improving the competitiveness of the regional and national economies. For the economy, clusters represent growth points when one or more economic entities reach absolute competitiveness in the market, they affect the immediate environment, resulting in a cluster formation — a community of entities that contribute to each other’s competitiveness. The social and psychological factors, the system of motives and interests of individual members of the cluster in the merger play an important role in the formation of the cluster. Awareness of mutual benefit, interest of participants in cooperation, overcoming stasis of loss of leadership positions, desire to develop together, remaining competitors ensures achievement of resultant synergistic effect of cluster cooperation. Appointment. The purpose of the study is to analyze the socio-psychological features of cluster interaction. Methods. The following methods were used in the study: logical generalization, synthesis, analysis, comparison — to determine the essential characteristics of the concept of «cluster»; analysis and comparison to identify social-psychological biases and prompt participants to cluster interaction. Results. The article analyzes the social-psychological obstacles, prejudices, and cluster interaction preferences that are characteristic of the leader of the cluster-leading company, the manager of the enterprise responsible for cluster specialization, but not the market leader, of the employees of these companies; the head and employees of scientific institutions, authorities, and the public. It has been established that maintaining competition between the cluster participants is a key aspect that causes the greatest number of social and psychological prejudices when establishing cluster interaction. Conclusions. The research showed an awareness of mutually beneficial, participatory interest in cooperation, overcoming the stasis of losing leadership positions, the desire to develop together while remaining competitors ensures the achievement of the resulting synergistic effect of cluster cooperation. Understanding the importance of socio-psychological factors in establishing cluster interaction enables facilitators of such cooperation to not only identify and understand key psychological barriers of individuals, but also to develop tools to motivate the integration of potential entities into the cluster. Throughout the knowledge-based human society development, the human factor in organizational management has become a competitive factor due to its professional competence and social skills. The authors of this research have set the aim of characterizing the entrepreneur from the social-psychological perspective that influences his/her ethical behavior. The authors have dealt with the typological and psychological traits from a theoretical perspective, have summarized the concept of temperament and character showing that there is interaction between them; also, they have characterized and classified them into groups, providing several examples. In the practical part, the authors conducted tests on students at the Technical University of Moldova using psychological evaluation tests of temperament and character, proposed by scholars well-known in this field.

The article is aimed at researching the socio-psychological features of interaction between participants in the labor process, which are factors of conflicts in the social and labor sphere. The article considers conflict as one of the variants for the development of social relations, which arises in case of violation of their balance. It is proved that conflicts arise under the influence of a complex system of factors that have a social and psychological nature. The scholars’ views on the essence of social and psychological factors of conflict are considered. It is proved that the factors, directly related to joint activities and relationships, affecting the proneness to conflict in the staff of an organization, are: organizational culture, socio-psychological climate, leadership (which characterize the social component of interaction); socio-psychological personality traits, orientation and personality type (which characterize the psychological component of interaction). The essence of each factor is considered and its impact on the occurrence and development of conflict is determined. The consequences of both positive and negative impact of socio-psychological factors on the conflict are specified. The publication uses methods of generalization, comparison, analysis and synthesis – to understand the essence of conflict as a certain stage of social interaction, to study the socio-psychological factors of the conflict; graphical method – for clarification of data and schematic representation of the main provisions of the research. The carried out studies will contribute to the development of an efficient strategy and tactics for resolving conflicts, their faster settlement, and the use of effective mechanisms for their forecasting; a system approach to conflict management in order to prevent unconstructive conflict interactions in labor collectives will allow to take into account socio-psychological aspects of interaction between participants in the labor process.

Aims and Objectives/Purpose/Research Questions: This article examines the role of social-psychological factors in the development of heritage Ambon Malay in the Netherlands. More specifically, it aims to answer this question: Can social-psychological factors account for the different frequency of Dutch-like structures among heritage speakers? Design/Methodology/Approach: Data from 32 Ambon Malay heritage speakers and 27 Ambon Malay homeland speakers were collected by means of video stimuli and a sociolinguistic interview. Data and Analysis: The database provides six linguistic variables and three social-psychological factors. The linguistic variables are as follows: the pre-verbal marker ada; the definite marker = nya; the double object construction; the prepositional phrase and adjectival phrase in resultative constructions; the pre-nominal order for the demonstrative itu and the numeral satu ‘one’. The social-psychological factors are where the speaker lives, onset of Dutch bilingualism and attitude. The effect of the social-psychological factors on the linguistic variables was assessed using a multivariate general linear model. Findings/Conclusions: The results show that place where the speaker lives is the best predictor. Heritage speakers living outside a Moluccan ward have a higher rate of Dutch-like features than speakers living inside a Moluccan ward. In some cases, sequential bilinguals are more innovative than simultaneous bilinguals. Finally, speakers with only a mild positive attitude towards the heritage language have a higher rate of Dutch-like features. Originality: Unlike previous studies, this article does not test the role of social-psychological factors against self-ratings of heritage language proficiency, but it uses real language data. Significance/Implications: The theoretical significance of this study is to bridge the gap between the sphere of language structure and the sphere of language use and language attitude. An additional value lies in its findings that frequent use of the heritage language means not only a higher rate of maintenance but also accelerated change.

Attributed to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, panic buying is now a frequent occurrence in many countries, leading to stockouts and supply chain disruptions. Consequently, it has received much attention from academics and the retail industry. The aim of this study is to review, identify, and synthesise the psychological causes of panic buying, which is a relatively new and unexplored area in consumer behaviour research. A systematic review of the related literature is conducted. The review suggests that panic buying is influenced by (1) individuals’ perception of the threat of the health crisis and scarcity of products; (2) fear of the unknown, which is caused by negative emotions and uncertainty; (3) coping behaviour, which views panic buying as a venue to relieve anxiety and regain control over the crisis; and (4) social psychological factors, which account for the influence of the social network of an individual. This study contributes to the literature by consolidating the scarce and scattered research on the causes of panic buying, drawing greater theoretical insights into each cause and also offers some implications for health professionals, policy makers, and retailers on implementing appropriate policies and strategies to manage panic buying. Recommendations for future research are also provided.

The paper describes the social psychological factors of pedagogical partnership between the society and the police that were revealed in a study on social psychological readiness (ability) for such partnership. This study also aimed to explore the barriers on the part of the police that interfere with establishing the partnership. The study was conducted in 2016 at the Academy of Management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. Heads of law enforcement bodies (N-143) took part in the survey. The outcomes of the research suggest that there are five types of employees with different levels of communicative competence and readiness to carry out pedagogical partnership with citizens. The specifics of the explored phenomenon is that, apart from the social psychological factors of pedagogical partnership themselves, there are also objective legal, criminal and criminal psychological factors that fall within the competence of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and affect the quality of this partnership.

The article discusses scientific approaches to the social psychological features of the formation of creative thinking skills in adolescents. The components and results of experimental trials on the development of creative thinking in adolescents were also analyzed. Besides, in the research has shown that the formation of independent creative thinking skills in adolescents, who are the future of any state, is one of the important factors in the development of society. Creativity allows teenagers to be creative, not to be afraid of responsibility in making unconventional decisions, to be able to encourage their own thoughts and opinions.
