Purpose of the study: This paper aimed at investigating factors influencing students’ intention to use e-learning within the context of Jordan. The proposed model integrated subjective norms with the extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Methodology: The data collected 587 students from Jadara University. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Main Findings: The result has confirmed the direct effect of all variables. Next, the result has also shown that the mediation effect of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use between subjective norm and the behavioral intention to use the E-learning system was partially supported. Applications of this study: The results of the current work may contribute to the improvement of the existing literature in the e-learning acceptance fields, and can be applied as an essential input for the development of the recent e-learning training programs. Novelty/Originality of this study: The present work is intended to conclude a series of concrete research data as well as to contribute a new angle to the existing literature on students’ perception of the e-learning system.

In this paper, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is extent with two external stimulus namely e-learning characteristics and basic ICT (Information and Communication Technology) competencies. The purpose of this study are (1) finding relationship between e-learning characteristics and lecturers’ basic ICT competencies with the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of e-learning; and (2) determining the effect of e-learning characteristics and lecturer basic ICT competencies to the actual usage of e-learning. Research subjects are Bali State Polytechnic lecturers who have attended the elearning training. In this study, to collect the data sample, a non-random sampling technique is adopted. The data is collected by self-administered questionnaires and is analyzed using structural equation modeling. Basic ICT competencies of the Bali State Polytechnic lecturers are good, but the level of actual usage of e-learning is very low. Basic ICT competence shows no significant effect on the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of e-learning. The actual usage of e-learning also has low implications. E-learning characteristics show a significant effect on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness of e-learning, which implies the change attitude and behavior in the use of elearning. Characteristics of e-learning become a determinant factor in the adoption and use of elearning. The findings will help lecturer a better understanding to the mechanism of e-learning adoption. The study recommends for polytechnic institutions to make a systematic effort to provide lecturers with training on how to use e-learning system effectively. A further research to identify other factors that may influence lecturers' attitudes toward the adoption of e-learning system is demanded following this research.

Purpose -Response to the sudden pandemic, COVID-19 drastic shift of work practices requires the implementation of an e-learning system, but their adoption requires a thorough understanding of the user acceptance process. Our key effort is to incorporate a framework, “internet experience” to determine the existing Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) applicability in describing students’ s e-learning decisions in Haryana state. Design/methodology- The researcher has administered a questionnaire based on TAM’s constructs and collected data from UG and PG students of Haryana state of India. Findings – The results revealed that perceived usefulness (PU) has a significant positive relationship with continuous usage intention (CUI) whilst, perceived ease of use (PEOU), computer self-efficacy (CSE) and internet experience (IE) have not. Attitude towards E-learning system (ATELS) has found no relevance in this model. Originality/value Majority research has been done using the TAM model in a developed nation. Empirical study has not been done in Haryana state so far.

Smart home services (SHSs) afford users an effective lifestyle management system, which provides human-oriented networking of smart devices and applications that enable users to control their homes from anywhere at any time. Despite the benefits of SHSs, however, their acceptance is very low. There remains a gap in the literature in terms of a comprehensive model that addresses users’ intention to use SHSs. To address this gap, the present study explored the factors that influence SHS acceptance among users based on well-established theoretical frameworks, such as the technology acceptance model, innovation diffusion theory, and the theory of planned behavior. To this end, the study integrated four additional factors, namely, perceived convenience, perceived connectedness, perceived cost, and perceived privacy risk, into the exploration and carried out structural equation modeling to quantitatively determine the effects of these factors. Questionnaires were administered to 750 users. The findings indicated that perceived compatibility, perceived convenience, perceived connectedness, perceived cost, perceived behavioral control with perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use directly and indirectly exerted a significant influence on users’ intention to use SHSs.

Dalam implementasi sebuah sistem informasi di suatu institusi, perlu dipertimbangkan  bagaimana penerimaan pengguna terhadap sistem informasi tersebut. Penerapan sistem informasi dapat dikatakan gagal jika pengguna ternyata tidak dapat menerima atau tidak mau menggunakan sistem informasi tersebut. Sebagai sebuah institusi pendidikan, Universitas Atma Jaya Yogyakarta (UAJY) juga mengimplementasikan sistem e-learning untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar. Pengguna wajib dari e-learning ini adalah dosen dan mahasiwa. Sejak diterapkan belum pernah diadakan evaluasi mengenai penerimaan pengguna terhdap sistem e-learning ini. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melakukan pengujian terhadap penerimaan pengguna (mahasiswa) terhadap e-learning dengan menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Pengujian dilakukan dengan mengukur pengaruh antar variabel dalam model TAM yang meliputi variabel Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, Attitude Toward Using, Behavioral Intention dan Actual Usage. Metode pengujian statistik yang dilakukan yaitu uji statistik validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, dan menguji pengaruh faktor menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM). Sumber data didapatkan dengan metode kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada responden mahasiswa UAJY dari seluruh fakultas. Dari enam hipotesis yang diajukan satu hipotesis dinyatakan tidak diterima, yaitu hipotesis yang menyatakan Perceived Usefulnes berpengaruh terhadap Behavioral Intention. Kelima hipotesis yang lain yaitu Perceived Ease of Use berpengaruh terhadap Perceived Usefulnes, Perceived Usefulnes berpengaruh terhadap Attitude Toward Using, Perceived Ease of Use berpengaruh terhadap Attitude Toward Using, Attitude Toward Using berpengaruh terhadap Behavioral Intention, Behavioral Intention berpengaruh terhadap Actual Usage dinyatakan dapat diterima.

Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dalam Survei Bidang Kependudukan danKeluarga Berencana. Terjadi perubahan dalam teknik atau cara pengumpulan data dalam surveidi bidang kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana/KB (selanjutnya disebut Survei Kinerja danAkuntabilitas Program/SKAP) yang semula dilakukan secara manual dan paper based menjadisistem yang berbasis smartphone yang menggunakan platform Open Data Kit (ODK). Sistemini mengubah semua rangkaian pengumpulan data menjadi paperless dan electronic based.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (a) mengukur tingkat pengaruh perceived ease of use terhadapperceived usefulness ; (b) mengukur tingkat pengaruh perceived ease of use terhadapattitude towards using: (c) mengukur tingkat pengaruh perceived usefulness terhadap behaviorintention to use; (d) mengukur tingkat pengaruh perceived usefulness terhadap attitude towardsusing; (e) mengukur tingkat pengaruh attitude towards using terhadap behavior intention touse; dan (f) mengukur tingkat pengaruh behavior intention to use terhadap actual system usedalam survei berbasis smartphone bidang kependudukan dan keluarga berencana di PulauSumatera. Populasi dalam kajian ini adalah seluruh enumerator dan supervisor survei SKAPyang ada di Pulau Sumatera, kemudian sampelnya ditetapkan menurut teknik estimasi maximumlikehood (ML) yaitu minimal 100 dna maksimal 400 responden. Analisis data dilakukan denganSEM (Structural Equation Modelling) dengan software AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure).Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari enam hipotesis yang diajukan, terdapat dua hipotesisyang diterima, yaitu (a) perceived ease of use mempunyai hubungan yang positif denganPerceived usefulness dengan nilai CR -4.31 >±1,96 dan angka probabilitasnya 0,001 (<0,05)dan (b) behavioral Intention to Use mempunyai hubungan yang positif dengan Actual SystemUse dengan CR = 2,819 >±1,96 dan probabilitas/P = 0,005 (<0,05).

This study examines the factors influencing the choices of Internet platform services by applying the technology acceptance model. For this purpose, the analysis is conducted with 222 people who use different types of Internet platforms by utilizing structural equation modeling. The results show that perceived usefulness had positive effects on the intention to use, perceived ease of use, diversity, and security risks affected by the perceived usefulness, and the indirect influences on the intention to use. In addition, satisfaction (in relation to service quality) was found to affect both perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness. This research is significant because it will make it possible to predict users’ perceptions of Internet platforms, which is important for establishing relevant strategies.

As the various applications of Internet and information communication technology (ICT) grow rapidly, the education and hospital institutions provide more distance learning programs, which also makes the research on e-learning more important. However, disadvantages in e-learning have been identified. Blended e-learning systems (BELSs) are considered effective alternative learning approaches. This research proposes a conceptual model to explain the factors affecting nurses’ behavioral intention to use a blended e-learning system (BELS). This research integrated perceived risk and the technology acceptance model to hypothesize a theoretical model for explaining and predicting learners’ behavioral intention to use a BELS. Self-report questionnaires were distributed to local community hospitals, regional hospitals, and medical centers in Central Taiwan. To confirm this research hypothesis, data were collected 682 nurses, with a response rate of 97.4%. Using structural equation modeling (SEM), the results show that perceived risk, perceived ease of use, and attitude influenced BELS behavioral intention. Perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness substantially influenced use attitude. In addition, the path coefficient of perceived risk on attitude was non-significant. On the basis of the results, hospital institutions can devise better strategies for developing their blended e-learning system. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk untuk menganalisa pengaruh penerapan e-learning terhadap keaktifan mahasiswa pada kegiatan pembelajaran di Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Pagar Alam sehingga menjadi masukan dalam hal pengembangannya ke depan menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Variabel-Variabel yang digunakan ada 5 (lima) variabel yaitu Kegunaan persepsian (perceived usefulness), Sikap terhadap menggunakan teknologi (Attidute towards using technology, Minat perilaku menggunakan teknologi (Behavioral Intention to USe) kemudahan penggunaan persepsian (perceived ease of use)19,dan Penggunaan Teknologi Sesungguhnya (Actual Techology Use). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dari penyebaran kuesioner pada 150 mahasiswa pengguna e-learning di Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Pagar Alam. Metode analisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS.

recently, a rapidly increasing type of education that is mostly adopted by higher education in developed countries is known as E-learning. The aim of the research was to evaluating students’ satisfaction of e-Learning. In the current research, both the theory of technology acceptance model (TAM) and the method of employed structural equation modelling (SEM) with Smart PLS were used to examine the process of students' adoption. It has been found that the learning satisfaction was positively influenced by the perceived ease of use (PEOU), perceived usefulness (PU) and intention to use (IU) as witnessed among university students. Significant and positive perceptions towards e-learning and intend to practice it by university students in Malaysia have been observed by this research.

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) has given a new impetus to educational transformation. In recent years, education experts recognize the profound impact that a myriad of technological innovations in ICT is having on education. They agree that education 4.0 will be shaped by innovations and will indeed have to train students to produce innovations. E-learning has become an increasingly popular learning approach in higher education institutions (HEIs) due to the rapid growth of Internet technologies in Malaysia. The technology acceptance model (TAM) proposes that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness predict applications usage. It has been integrated into many university programs and is one of the new learning trends. The study aims to investigate students’ acceptance towards e-learning system using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The study was conducted to the students that undergone the Diploma in Office Management and Technology program from the Faculty of Business and Management, UiTM Melaka. The purpose of the study conducted was to investigate the level of students’ acceptance in terms of ease of use and perceived usefulness of e-learning. A set of questionnaires was used for data collection. Descriptive statistics were used to describe the demographic characteristics of the study respondents. All analysis was performed by using SPSS. A total of 50 students completed the survey questionnaire with a satisfactory response rate. It was found that the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness has a significant effect on attitude toward e-learning. The respondents agreed that e-learning is very useful and makes it easier to study the course content. Students are found to be frequently engaged in using e-learning and believed it enhancing their academic performances. The outcomes will enrich the understanding of students’ acceptance of e-learning and will assist in its continuing implementation at UiTM Melaka.
