Within the framework of Community Practices and the Field of Practices, we initiate learning spaces, among bakers, students and teachers, in the search for practical and theoretical knowledge; academic and empirical, with concrete actions for the recovery, assessment and visibility of the work in artisan brick kilns. Likewise, we coordinate this meeting space with the Technical Secondary School to generate a meaningful educational exchange for students where academic and popular knowledge are combined with interdisciplinary knowledge of secondary education in order to express its practical application in the community.

Theoretical knowledge may contain various levels of abstraction represented by logical constructions from the observed characteristics of objects from the subject area of the theory. The degree of abstractness can be de-scribed by the complexity of the structures obtained from the initial observational terms. Such auxiliary construc-tions are characterized as explicit or implicitdefinitions of theoretical concepts in terms of observational. One of the techniques for constructing such definitions is the operationalization of abstractions by a system of reduction sentences. In this case a theoretical concept is characterized as “open” and plays a role of logical and methodo-logical constraints for expanding the possible connections of the theoretical model with the help of concepts from the domain of intended practical application.

The present study investigated the relationships between the three factors of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and entrepreneurial intention among students from the Technical Secondary School in Malaysia. This study utilized the survey (questionnaire) method. A total of 163 respondents which consisted of the Year 4 students from one of the Technical Secondary School in Northern Region of Malaysia were selected to participate in this study. The findings presented that students in this institution have a high level of entrepreneurial intention (mean=3.89). Also, results presented that subjective norm is the only factor that significantly related to entrepreneurial intention (β=.331, p=.000). Meanwhile, other factors such as attitude towards behavior (β=.064, p=.474) and self-efficacy (β=.070, p=.438) are not significantly related to entrepreneurial intention. Thus, it is found that only one factor of TPB which is subjective norm has a significant relationship with entrepreneurial intention among students in this Technical Secondary School. This study contributed some fruitful knowledge which can be suggested to all Technical Secondary Schools to improve the level of students’ entrepreneurial intention, particularly in the Malaysian context. Implications of the results are discussed; and future research direction are briefly provided.

Article concentrates on students' internships, which provide them with a possibility to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. The purpose of the paper is to analyze and evaluate the legal aspects of internship organized for Public Administration (PA) programme students and their practical application in Lithuania. The analysis of internship regulations in 5 universities, having PA Bachelor's programme, allows distinguishing a number of similarities and differ-rences. The analysis of legal acts, universities' internal regulations and students' internship regulations of several Lithuanian study programmes in Public Administration indicates the lack of unified students' internship system. The authors provide several ideas how this topic can be elaborated in the future.http://dx.doi.org/10.5755/j01.ppaa.10.1.231
