Inventory control is one of the important things of working capital in a company. Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) could be decided from the safety stock, maximum inventory, and reorder point in a company. The aim of the research was to know the number of stock and inventory cost savings. The research used EOQ method on controlling the packaging cup 240 ml and carton box to know the amount of safety stock, maximum inventory, and reorder point in PT. XYZ. The result showed that the sum of buying the material based on EOQ method in the 2015, 2016 and 2017.In the 2015 the amount f packaging cup 240ml were 1.492.031 cups, the amount f carton box were 25.164 cartons, in the 2016 the sum of packaging cup 240 ml were 1.492.084 cups, the sum of cartoon box were 24.697 cartons, while in the 2017 the sum of packaging cup were 240 cups. Using the EOQ method can be known that inventory cost savings as the result of the decreasing of the order. Safety stock were around 447.406 for a 240ml cups and 9.319 for cartons box. Maximum inventory based on EOQ method were around 992.445 for 240 ml cups and 20.549 for cartons. Reorder point based on EOQ method were around 860.066 for a 240ml cups and 17.918 for cartons. Tujuan yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin menganalisis persediaan bahan baku optimal yang dibutuhkan dengan menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), menganalisis berapa besar persediaan pengaman (Safety stock), menganalisis kapan waktu yang tepat untuk melakukan pemesanan kembali (reorder point), menganalisis total persediaan bahan baku atau Total Inventory Cost (TIC). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dan hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa persediaan bahan baku setiap tahunnya tidak stabil. Bahan baku yang dibutuhkan oleh perusahaan apabila dihitung menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) pada tahun 2016 adalah sebesar 11,52 m3 dengan frekuensi pembelian 6 kali per periode (1 tahun). Tahun 2017 sebesar 9,90 m3 dengan frekuensi pembelian 6 kali per periode (1 tahun). Persediaan pengaman (safety stock) pada tahun 2016 adalah sebesar 16,48 m3. Pada tahun 2017 sebesar 11,25 m3. Titik pemesanan kembali (reorder point) pada tahun 2016 adalah sebesar 17,18 m3. Pada tahun 2017 sebesar 13,1 m3. Total biaya persediaan bahan baku yang dihitung menurut Economic Order Point (EOQ) lebih sedikit dibandingkan dengan yang dikeluarkan oleh perusahaan, maka ada penghematan biaya persediaan. Pada tahun 2016 sebesar Rp.110.499.402 dan pada tahun 2017 sebesar Rp.81.655.306. Kata Kunci: Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Persediaan Pengaman (Safety Stock), Titik Pemesanan Kembali (Reorder Point), Total Biaya Persediaan atau Total Inventory Cost (TIC).

ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the quantity and frequency of ordering fresh fish, total inventory cost, safety stock and reorder points based on the method Economic Order Quantity  the exactand knowing the ratio of total costs of fresh fish inventory if the traders at the Depo Ikan Segar use their own policies using the method Economic Order Quantity. The basic method used in this research is descriptive method. The location was determined by purposive sampling and selected the Depo Ikan Segar in Surakarta City because it was the whole sale center for fresh fish in Surakarta City. Determination of the sample using random sampling technique by proporsive sampling. Data analysis methods used are: (1) optimal quantity and ordering frequency (2) total inventory costs (3) calculation of safety stock and reorder points. Metode dasar yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Penentuan lokasi secara purposive sampling dan terpilih Depo Ikan Segar Kota Surakarta karena merupakan pusat grosir ikan segar di Kota Surakarta. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan cara proporsive sampling. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah : (1) kuantitas dan frekuensi pemesanan optimal (2) total biaya persediaan (3) perhitungan safety stock dan reorder point. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan kuantitas, frekuensi pemesanan, total biaya persediaan, safety stock dan reorder point akan optimal apabila menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity dibanding dengan kebijakan pedagang di Depo Ikan Segar.Kata kunci:  Economic Order Quantity, Frekuensi Pemesanan Optimal, Persediaan Pengaman, Titik Pemesanan Kembali, Total Biaya Persediaan

            The cost of raw material inventory is a sacrifice of economic resources, measured in units of money, which have occurred or are likely to occur for raw material inventory, consisting of purchase costs, storage costs, and inventory shortage. This study aims to determine (1) Total Inventory Cost (TIC) based on RM policy. Kinamang Fuel Fish and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method during 2017 (2) Frequency of ordering of efficient fish raw material during 2017 (3) Quantity of safety stock and when to reorder point of raw materials fish in RM. Ikan Bakar Kinamang during 2017. This research is a descriptive research with qualitative approach. And use case study method. The result of the research shows that the Cost of Fish Raw Material Supplies at Kinamang Fuel Fish Restaurant is still not economical because the purchase (order) is only based on the previous sales estimate, and does not take into account economically the expenses incurred for the purchase and storage of fish raw materials the. Precisely with the calculation of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), the cost of raw materials inventory of fish is much less, and can determine properly and correctly about the safety stock (safety stock), and reorder (reorder point).Keywords: Inventory Cost, EOQ, Frequency, Safety Stock, ROP

This study aims to analyze the availability of raw materials at PT. Akasha Wira Internasional Tbk, analyzes the total cost of raw material inventories, analyzes to reorder point raw materials, analyzes the amount of safety stock of raw materials, analyzes raw material inventory control. The analytical method used is the Economic Order Quantity method, which is to find out the optimal order or purchase quantity with the aim of minimizing inventory costs consisting of ordering costs and storage costs. The results showed that the purchase of optimal ades 1500 ML label raw materials according to the Economic Order Quantity method during the 2017 period for each message was greater than what the company did. The optimal purchase of raw materials that must be done by the company in 2017 is 397 m with the frequency of ordering that must be done as much as 2 times. The safety stock quantity that must be available in the warehouse is 480.15 m and the Re Order Point according to the Economic Order Quantity is at the time of the inventory in the warehouse is 512.91 m. The total inventory cost for the production process incurred according to the Economic Order Quantity method is smaller than the total inventory cost incurred by the company. Keywords: Inventory, Raw Materials, Economic Order Quantity  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis ketersediaan bahan baku di PT. Data yang diperoleh adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pada bahan baku  ades 1500 ML tahun 2017 memiliki tingkat pemesanan yang lebih tinggi. Pembelian bahan baku optimal yang harus dilakukan perusahaan pada tahun 2017 adalah sebesar 397 m dengan frekuensi pemesanan yang harus dilakukan adalah sebanyak 2 kali. Kuantitas persediaan pengaman yang harus tersedia digudang adalah sebesar 480,15 m dan titik pemesanan kembali menurut Economic Order Quantity yaitu saat persediaan digudang tinggal 512,91 m. Maka dalam proses produksi menurut EOQ lebih kecil diabnding dengan total pembiayaan dari perusahaan.  Kata Kunci :  Persediaan , Bahan Baku, Economic Order Quantity

This study aims to apply the EOQ method for planning Chitato product orders at PT. Kembar Putra Makmur. Data collection is done by interviewing. The results showed that the highest supply of Chitato 15 grams of Chitato Beef Barbeque with a purchase frequency of 20 orders in one year, with the number of orders was 4,928 boxes, the amount of Safety Stock was 3,364 boxes, and the company retured to oder (Reorder Point) when inventory reaches 4,676 boxes. Companies should use the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, Safety Stock, and Reorder Points in processing and controlling inventory to avoid stock out. Layla Bakery merupakan usaha agroindustri yang terletak  di Jalan Ambulu No.110,  Kecamatan Balung,  Kabupaten Jember.  Produk dari Layla Bakery Jember antara lain roti pisang, donat, roti tawar, roti sisir dan lain-lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan jumlah persediaan bahan baku tepung optimal yang seharusnya dilakukan Layla Bakery, kapan waktu yang tepat untuk melakukan pemesanan kembali bahan baku tepung dan berapa total biaya pemesanan optimal untuk melakukan pengadaan bahan baku tepung. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah EOQ  (Economic Order Quantity) yang meliputi perhitungan Quantity untuk mengetahui jumlah pemesanan bahan baku yang optimal, alat analisis ROP  (Reorder Point)  untuk mengetahui kapan waktu yang tepat untuk melakukan pemesanan bahan baku kembali, alat analisis Safety Stock  untuk mengetahui persediaan pengaman dan TIC  (Total Inventory Cost)  untuk menghitung total biaya pemesanan bahan baku. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan  metode EOQ, jumlah pesanan bahan baku yang optimal yaitu sebesar  3.179 Kg dengan frekuensi pembelian 18 kali dalam satu tahun dengan pemesanan ulang bahan baku jika persediaan mencapai 704 Kg dengan total biaya persediaan sebesar Rp. 351.827.600.

Rice is a staple food in Indonesia. Badan Urusan Logistik (BULOG) has the job of Public Service Obligation (PSO) to maintain the availability of rice in Indonesia. The objectives of this study were to 1) analyze the economic order quantity, the amount of safety stock, maximum inventory, and reorder point by Perum BULOG Regional Division of East Java; 2) analyze total inventory cost and efficiency cost of rice stock by Perum BULOG Regional Division of East Java. The research method was the case study. Purposive sampling was used to determine research location. Data were analyzed by the economic order quantity (EOQ), safety stock, maximum inventory, reorder point, total inventory cost, and cost-efficiency. Research result showed that economic order quantity at Perum BULOG Regional Division of East Java was 3,331 ton for each ordering and ordering frecuency for each years was 357 times. The amount of safety stock was 297,360.5 ton. Maximum inventory that can be managed was 300,691.5 ton. Reorder point by Perum BULOG Regional Division of East Java was 395,122.9 ton. The cost efficiency up to IDR 4,040,130.

The purpose of the implementation of this research is to find the effectiveness of supplies raw materials, the method of analysis data used in the square is the smallest trend for planning raw materials and controling supplies use method of economic order quantity (EOQ) analyze reorder point. Analysis reorder point and safety stock. And analyzes efficiency cost of raw materials. Forecasting raw materials years 20x7 according to the smallest trend, cloth and dakron happened the difference is greater than of the target needed (according to a company); controling supplies raw materials with the methods eoq in 20x7 more effective than reservations raw materials cloth and dakron and more efficient than cost raw materials. The company should review the policy of forecasting raw material supplies that had been undertaken and make planning supplies the raw material that more accurate using the firm’s historical data and not only targeting the output production next year, so that machines production can be optimized. Considering the use of control supplies with the methods economic order quantity to companies, so this analysis can determine material reservations, supplies safety, maximum supplies to avoid the risk of running out of raw materials, because the companies often happened less dressed up a result of reservations that time is inaccurate, the lack of safety stock and the deferred the delivery of goods which often disturb the production process, by this method can prevent these things, so that the production process can run smoothly and minimize the cost of raw materials supplies.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemesanan bahan baku madu optimal, menganalisis pengaruh biaya pemesanan, biaya penyimpanan, jumlah pemakaian dan waktu tunggu terhadap persediaan bahan baku madu, menganalisis trend kebutuhan bahan baku madu bulan Juli sampai dengan Desember 2018, menganalisis persediaan pengaman (safety stock) bahan baku madu, menganalisis titik pemesanan ulang (reorder point) bahan baku madu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan metode pelaksanaan penelitian yaitu studi kasus. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis model EOQ (Economic Order Quantity), analisis regresi linier berganda, analisis trend, analisis safety stock dan analisis reorder point. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemesanan bahan baku madu yang optimal sebesar 6.524 kg/pesanan dengan frekuensi 17 kali pemesanan. Faktor biaya penyimpanan dan jumlah pemakaian mempengaruhi persediaan bahan baku sedangkan faktor biaya pemesanan dan waktu tunggu tidak mempengaruhi persediaan bahan baku di PT. Aksamala Adi Andana. Trend kebutuhan bahan baku madu di PT. Aksamala Adi Andana pada Bulan Juli sampai dengan Desember 2018 cenderung meningkat. Persediaan pengaman (safety stock) bahan baku madu yang harus tersedia di PT. Aksamala Adi Andana yaitu sebesar 766 kg. Reorder point bahan baku madu di PT. Aksamala Adi Andana sebesar 2.915 kg.

This research aims to analyze raw material inventory at UD. Mie Steven. This research was conducted for four months from January to April 2017. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained through interviews with the company, while secondary data obtained from data that has been compiled in the form of documents from the company, data from BPS, previous research or from the internet. The data is processed using EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method. The result of the research is known that the policy of raw material inventory control is done by UD. Mie Steven is not efficient yet. This is shown by the company's inventory cost is bigger than the result of analysis using EOQ method is 6,693 Kg with total cost of economical inventory Rp.11.325.500.
