The research aims to determine the optimal order quantities of raw materials using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), the total cost of raw material inventory, reorder point, order frequency, and application of the EOQ method on the CV. XYZ Kupang in an effort to optimize inventory costs. The data used in this study consisted of primary data and secondary data both qualitatively and quantitatively related to raw material supply. Primary data were obtained through direct observation and interviews with various key respondents at CV. XYZ Kupang. Secondary data were obtained from the documents and reports from Management Company. The results of this study indicate that the optimal quantity of raw material orders at CV. XYZKupang is 63.80 m3 in 2017, 63.04 m3 in 2018, and 72.80 m3 in 2019. The total cost of the company’s raw material supply that issued if EOQ policy appliedRp. 32.267.554 in the year 2017, Rp. 24.507.185 in the year 2018, and Rp. 28.020.251 in the year 2019.CV. XYZ Kupang must perform an order back in the level of inventories of 16.74 m3 in 2017, at 10.08 m3 in 2018, and 9.82 m3 in 2019.6.90 m3 in 2017, 6.20 m3 in 2017, and 5.75 m3 in 2019. CV. XYZ Kupang had to order as many as 9 times in the year 2017, 8 times in the year 2017, and 8 times in the year 2019. Thus the number of all bookings in the year 2017 of 7.09 m3, by the year 2018 of 7.88 m3 and in the year 2019 of 9.1 m3.CV. XYZ Kupang can optimize the cost of supplies, neither order of the cost of storage. If EOQ method applied, there is a saving from the total cost of the inventory in the year 2017 is Rp. 72.523.229, by the year 2018 is Rp. 68.476.912, and in 2019 is Rp. 76.468.558.

This study aimed to analyze the Economic order quantity level of raw material wheat flour for Surya Bakery and the quantity level of Re-order Point. The design of study was descriptive qualitative. The study used secondary data in order to gain the information about purchasing of raw material of flour. The data analyzed by quantitative method which used Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and Re-order Point. The result shows that EOQ in Usaha Roti Surya Bakery is 4.266 kg with frequency of ordering raw material is 22 times. Wher eas re-order point of the raw material when inventory reach 1.068 kg with lead time are 4 days. Before using EOQ method, the frequency of ordering raw material of flour is 36 times per year. After using EOQ method, it is found the frequency of ordering raw material of flour is 22 times per year. So that, after using EOQ method, the result of ordering cost was Rp. 2.668.00,- carrying cost was Rp. 2.615.000,-, and total cost of raw material was Rp. 5.283.000,-. Therefore, the Surya-Bakery could save money for Rp 533.000 per year.

Inventory control is a very important issue. It is because the amount of inventory will determine or affect the smoothness of the production process as well as the effectiveness and efficiency of the company. PT Semen Padang is a manufacturing company that produces 10,400,000 tons of cement per year. The achievement of the cement production target at this company depends on the availability of raw materials needed in the cement production process itself. Gypsum is an additional material of the cement production process which is very important because it is a raw material that must exist in the process of making cement. So, if the inventory of gypsum cannot meet the needs of production, then the production process of cement making will be disrupted. PT Semen Padang is using the Min-Max method for inventory control. But the costs are quite high. The cost of inventory can be minimized by using another method such as EOQ (Economic Order Quantity). The conclusions of this research are in 2016 by using EOQ method, the optimal order quantity is 32,073 ton per order, and the frequency is 9 times in a year with total cost Rp. 4,757,673,813.48, and in 2017, the optimal order quantity is 34,856 tons per order and the frequency is 9 times in a year with total cost Rp. 9,694,805,608.36.

If the row material supply is saved in long time period and there is bulking in storage it can make the rattans will be under level quality. The purpose of this research is giving information about the choosing methods of planning, controlling the row material supply with differ between Just in Time (JIT) method with Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) to minimize inventory value. The result of from chosen method for the planning of inventory control of raw material. Total Inventory Cost (TIC) which in it there are three element of it expense of that is expense of purchasing, expense of ordering, and also stock holding cost got TIC for the Method of Just in Time (JIT) period 13 to Rp233.129.629,71. While for the Method of Economic Order of Quantity (EOQ) at period 13 to Rp234,171,969.21. Calculation of Total Inventory Cost (TIC) as a whole ( period of time 1 year) by applying Method of Just In Time ( JIT) it can be seen Totalize Inventory Cost (TIC) Rp5,012,483,943.59 while by applying Economic Order of Quantity (EOQ) from Total of Inventory Cost (TIC) Rp518,088,399.86.
