The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship of government's policy on the price movement of Nepal stock exchange (NEPSE). This study followed a case study research design, because it offers a deeper perspective and clearer understanding of the stock price movement of Nepalese joint venture banks. The sample size of this study consists of five joint venture commercial Banks, economic analysis and survey reports conducted by central bank of Nepal (Nepal Rastra Bank). The judgmental sampling method has been applied for selection of joint venture banks. The study was totally based on secondary data. in order to make proper analysis descriptive and inferential statistics were used using SPSS software version 26. The finding of this study revealed that the GDP and import are inversely associated with stock price movement and CRR, export, interest rate and inflation are positively associated with stock price movement. Further, it is found that the macroeconomic variables are key factors to determine the Nepalese stock price movement. More importantly, stock market has been found to respond significantly to changes in the government policy. It is recommended that CRR, EXPORT, INTEREST RATE and INFLATION are major factors which largely affect the stock price movement of NEPSE. GDP and IMPORT are not compliance with the stock price movement as they produce negative association with the stocks volatility.

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of profitability (ROA) on stock prices with corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a variable that moderates the two variables. The object of this research is companies incorporated in JII and SRI-KEHATI indexes that meet the test sample criteria during the period 2016 - 2018. This study uses a quantitative approach. Analysis of the data in this study used a moderation regression analysis (MRA). This study uses 20 samples for the JII index and 21 for the SRI-KEHATI index. Data obtained from the company's financial statements incorporated in JII and the SRI-KEHATI index for the period of 2016 - 2018 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website. The results showed that Return On Assets (ROA) had a significant effect on JII stock prices and SRI-KEHATI index stock prices. Furthermore, with CSR as a moderating variable showing the results of research with JII that is partially CSR disclosure shows a significant value which means CSR disclosure is able to moderate the relationship of ROA with JII stock prices. Overall (simultaneous) independent variables (ROA, CSR, ROA * CSR) significantly influence the stock price of JII. Furthermore, the results of research with the SRI-KEHATI index partially disclose CSR as a moderating variable showing a significant value. This means that CSR disclosure is not able to moderate the relationship of ROA with JII stock prices. while overall (simultaneous) independent variables (ROA, CSR, ROA * CSR) affect the stock price of the SRI-KEHATI index. Keywords: Profitability,StockPrice,ROA,CSR

This test conducted using the company's stock price data samples listed on the LQ45 index in the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the FBMKLCI index in the Malaysia Stock Exchange period 2017 to 2019. Hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test to answer if there is a difference in return between the best period and the worst period, to prove the Sell's existence in May and Go Away. The results showed no difference returns between the best and worst periods in the Sell in May and Go Away phenomenon at the Indonesia and Malaysia Stock Exchange period 2017 to 2019. The Investor considers SMGA as not a phenomenon containing excellent or bad information that is capable of affecting the price movement of shares so that SMGA as a strategy to buy stocks in the best period and sell in the worst period is no longer relevant

This study is trying to fill the research gap by understanding how several important financial variables interplay and affect the macroeconomic indicators, especially in developing country like Indonesia during the financial crisis period caused by the unexpected and sudden Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. The purpose of this research is to determine the direct effect of the inflation rate, Bank Indonesia (BI) rate, and Balance of Trade on the movement of Indonesia Rupiah (IDR) currency stability against US Dollar (USD) and indirect impact to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Composite index in Indonesia during the initial stage of the pandemic outbreak. To achieve the research objectives, this study uses the Rupiah exchange rate against USD and IDX Composite index as the dependent variables, while the Inflation rate (CPI), BI rate, and Balance of Trade as the independent variables. The quantitative methodology is used in this research by applying linear and multiple simple regression techniques. The results of this research show that the Inflation rate, BI rate, and Balance of Trade were significantly affecting the Rupiah exchange rate against the USD, and it found that the most dominant variable in this model was the BI rate. The Inflation rate and Balance of Trade partially had no direct significant influence toward the movement of the Rupiah exchange rate against the USD during the critical anticipation period of Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. Furthermore, Rupiah exchange rate against the USD gave a significant influence toward the IDX Composite index.
