This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership, academic culture, self – engagement on lecturer’s professional commitment of private university in Jakarta. A quantitative approach were used in the study. Data were analyzed from 212 lecturers of B-Accreditation private universities in Jakarta using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The findings delivers two things; First, there were positive and significant effect of transformational leadership on lecturer’s professional commitment; self – engagement on lecturer’s professional commitment; transformational leadership on academic culture; academic culture on self – engagement. Second, there were no significant effect of academic culture on lecturer’s professional commitment; transformational leadership on self – engagement.

Voluntary pro-environmental behaviors in the workplace such as organizational citizenship behavior towards environment (OCBE) are pertinent for the organizations striving to become environmentally responsible entities. The significance of OCBE for green organizational initiatives has led scholars to strive for expanding its nomological network. Approaching from the theoretical angle of the social information processing approach, this quantitative, survey-based study theoretically links and empirically tests the impact of environmental transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior towards environment (OCBE) via mediating mechanism of perceived meaningful work. Data from a sample of 311 employees working in Pakistan’s hospitality sector were collected and analyzed to test the hypothesized relationships using structural equation modelling. Results indicated the indirect effect of perceived meaningful work on the relationship between environmental transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior towards environment. Implications of both theoretical and practical nature are laid out in the relevant sections of the paper.

This research aims to examine and analyze the Effects of Transformational Leadership, Competence and Compensation on work motivation and implication on the performance of lecturers of Maritime College in DKI Jakarta region both partially and jointly. Sampling 250 lecturers from the research population of 290 people with sampling of all population members including pre test samples of 40 lecturers. The method used is a quantitative method. The hypothesis testing method is through Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results showed transformational leadership, competence, compensation and motivation of work positively and significantly both in a paraxia and simultaneously response to lecturers ' performance. The results of Square Multiple Correlation (R2) Provide work motivation information of 62% at the College of Maritime Sciences in DKI Jakarta area provided by the transformational leadership, competence, compensation. And the dominant variables are transformational leadership. The 85% contribution to the performance of lecturers was given by transformational leadership, competence, compensation, and motivation, with a more dominant variable is the motivation of work.

Orientation: Reward has links to employee attraction and retention and as such has a role to play in managing talent. However, despite a range of research, there is still lack of clarity on employee preferences relating to reward.Research purpose: The purpose of the research was to recommend and appraise a theoretical model of the relationship between occupational culture dimensions and reward preferences of specific occupational groups in the South African context.Motivation for the study: The motivation for this study was to address the gap that exists with reward preferences and occupational culture with a view to identifying and gaining insight into individual preferences.Research design, approach and method: A structural equation modelling approach was adopted in exploring the proposed relationships. A South African Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT) organisation served as the population, and a web-based survey assisted in gathering study data (n = 1362).Main findings: The findings provided support for the relationship between occupational culture dimensions and certain reward preferences. In particular, statistically significant results were obtained with the inclusion of the Environment, Team, and Time occupational culture dimensions as independent variables.Practical implications and value-add: The study provides workable input to organisations and reward professionals in the design of their reward strategies and programmes. Keywords: compensation; employee preferences; occupational culture; remuneration; reward preferences

This paper aims to reveal the relationship between transformational leadership and technostress. Quantitative research methods were adopted to determine the relationship. The model was examined using partial least squares based structural equation modelling using data from 334 employees working in logistics companies operating in Malatya. The findings of the research illustrate that transformational leadership behaviour affects technostress negatively. In other words, individuals who have transformational leaders faceless technostress than others. Since limited papers discuss these variables together, it is expected that the study may be helpful, especially for the logistic industry, due to the results of the relationship.

Decision is an issue that needs to be explored in detail due to its relationship to an individual’s psychology. In the context of zakat that also acts as microfinancing (non-refundable fund), decision plays an important role in terms of collection and distribution. However, previous literature about zakat has not clarified this phenomenon especially in the context of Asnaf entrepreneurs. Asnaf entrepreneurs represent micro entrepreneurs who depend on zakat funds. Then, by benefiting the funds and getting support from the zakat institutions, Asnaf entrepreneurs become less dependent on the support and become zakat payers. Therefore, grounded by Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) framework, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the impact of Asnaf Intention’s towards decision as the zakat payers. A total of 274 Asnaf entrepreneurs from Kelantan and Selangor had participated in this study. Data were collected through self-administered survey questionnaires. The main statistical technique used in this study is Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) by using Analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS) version 23. The study has shown that subjective norms are found to be most dominant predictor towards decision closely followed by attitude, and perceived behavioural control. The above findings have added several implications towards theory, both practical and managerial. In general, the findings of the study are consistent with the theory of planned behaviour. Moreover, Asnaf entrepreneur’s intention gives the better impact towards decision and zakat collection.

The purpose of this research to know influence intrinsic motivation, transformational leadership on discipline to improve employee performance. Independent variable in this research is intrinsic motivation and transformational leadership, the dependent variable is employee performance, and the intervening variable is discipline. This research is held in Kantor Kementerian Agama Kota Serang. The sample is 75 (seventy-five) respondents. The primary data were collected using a questioner that consist of a statement list and analyzed by SEM (Structural Equation Modelling) using SmartPLS statistic software. Five hypotheses constructed in this research there were forth hypotheses are accepted, intrinsic motivation is influential positive and significant on discipline, transformational leadership is influential positive and significant on discipline, transformational leadership is influential positive and significant on employee performance, and discipline is influential positive and significant one employee performance. While one other hypothesis is rejected, intrinsic motivation is influential positive but not significant on employee performance.
