This study aims to explain and test how the influence of company size and capital structure on firm value with an independent board of commissioners as a moderating variable in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2016-2017. This type of research is explanatory research, namely by using classical assumptions, using moderated regression analysis, and using the t test. The number of samples is 39 companies, and the sampling method is using purposive judgment sampling. The variables in this study consisted of company size and capital structure as an independent variable, company value as the dependent variable and the independent board of commissioners as moderation. The result of the analysis is that partially the size of the company affects the value of the company, the capital structure influences the value of the company, the independent board of commissioners strengthens the influence of the size of the company on the value of the company and the independent board of commissioners strengthens the effect of the capital structure on the value of the company.

This study aims to examine and explain the effect of company size and leverage on firm value with profitability as a moderating variable in Real Estate and Property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2016-2018. This type of research is explanatory research, testing classical assumptions, and analyzed using a moderated regression analysis, and using the t test. The number of samples is 32 companies, and the sampling method used is purposive sampling. This research variable consists of company size and leverage as an independent variable, company value as the dependent variable, and profitability as a moderating variable. The analysis showed that partially company size and leverage had no significant effect on firm value, profitability had a negative effect on firm value and profitability weakened the effect of company size on firm value and profitability strengthened the effect of leverage on firm value. In this study, it can provide implications for a company to consider factors of company size, leverage, and profitability, and can also be used as a reference by other companies in business strategy, understand aspects of the industry they are involved in, and pay more attention to the development of the environment that can affect the company's business so that it can increase the value of the company.

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of profitability and liquidity towards the capital structure on retail companies that are listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population of this research is whole of the retail companies that are listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2015. The method used in this research is explanatory research, and the sampling method used was judgement sampling method. Research hypothesis testing using T test, F test, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 20.0. The partially effect is shown by T test, except for profitability variable and the simultaneous effect is shown by F Test. The result of this research shows that the profitability and liquidity affect the capital structure simultaneously. Thus, the hypothesis of the research is empirically supported.Keywords: Capital Structure, Profitability, Liquidity, and Retail Companies

The value of the company reflects the prosperity for the owners of the company and creates the welfare of shareholders. In order for investors to get a high score then need to note the factors that affect the value of the company. This research was conducted in Consumer Goods Industry sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange with total population of 26 companies. The number of samples taken as many as 12 companies with purposive sampling method. Technique Analysis of data used is path analysis. Based on the results of the analysis found that the capital structure has a positive and significant impact on corporate value, profitability has a positive and significant impact on firm value. This means that the capital structure plays an important role for the company in increasing profitability, so the addition of proportion of debt that can increase profitability can be used to obtain higher corporate value. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of capital structure, sales growth, profitability, company size as factors considered by the company on the firm value of textile and garment companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016 – 2019. This study uses quantitative and qualitative methods. using linear regression analysis using the SPSS program as a testing tool. The results of this study indicate that the independent variable, namely capital structure, can contribute to determining firm value. Sales growth cannot contribute in determining the value of the company. Profitability can contribute in determining the value of the company. While the size of the company can contribute to determining the value of the company

This study examines the determinants of capital structure. The research object used is companies in the property and real estate sub-sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2015-2017 observation year. With a purposive sampling method, which selects samples based on certain criteria. And selected a sample of 42 companies.  Data analysis uses multiple regression and moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results showed that the firm size and profitability had a significant effect on the capital structure while the asset structure variable had no effect on the capital structure. The study implications can be used by management and investors to determine the capital structure through company size and profitability.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Capital Structure and Firm Size on Firm Value with Profitability as Intervening Variables. (Case Study on Manufacturing Companies in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2018 Period). This research uses quantitative descriptive research type. Sample 27 companies using Purposive sampling technique. The analysis method uses path analysis with SPSS software version 21.Based on the test result min this study that the variable capital structure and company size have a positive and significant effect on profitability. Capital structure has no effect on firm value, firm size and profitability affect company value, and profitability is able to mediate the effect of capital structure and firm size on firm value. Automotive companies suffered a loss due to a decrease in sales caused by high taxes and the proliferation of manufacturing components.The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of capital structure on value of company, Company size on value of company and profitability on value of company of IDX period 2012-2016, with 6 companies using purposive sampling method. Method of analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis.The result of the research shows that the capital structure do not have positive and significant influence to company value, and company size do not have positive and significant influence to company value while profitability has an effect on company value. This shows that high profitability influences company value in the eyes of investors.

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of profitability, asset growth, operating leverage and sales stability on the capital structure and firm value. The company value in this study was published with Tobin Q. The population of this study were all manufacturing companies reported on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2017. In accordance with the selection criteria, there are 46 filtered sample companies. The analysis technique that used is Partial Least Square (PLS).  The results of hypothesis indicate profitability and sales that are significant to the capital structure while increasing performance and leverage of operations do not have a significant effect on capital structure. Profitability, asset growth, sales stability have a significant effect on firm value while operating leverage does not involve significance to firm value. Profitability and influence of sales have a significant effect on firm value through capital structure, while yield growth and operating leverage are opposite.

The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of profitability, debt, and company size on the value of food and beverage companies. This research was conducted in all food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2018 period, amounting to 13 sample companies. The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling and data analysis techniques in this study used multiple linear regression analysis. This research aims to analyze the factors that affect the capital structure of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2010-2014. The variables studied were profitability, sales growth, asset structure and company size. This research is a comparative causal study. The data used is secondary data obtained from the site www.idx.co.id.The population in this study are all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2010-2014. The sample selection is done by using purposive sampling method, so that as much as 1089 observational data are obtained. Analysis of the data used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the variable profitability, asset structure and firm size significantly influence the capital structure. The magnitude of the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) is equal to 0.104. This means that 10.4% of the dependent variable that is capital structure can be explained by four independent variables namely profitability, sales growth, asset structure and company size. While the remaining 89.6% is explained by variables or other causes outside the model.
