<p><em>Corporate governance is an issue related to the practice of tax avoidance and audit delay and will impact on the value of firm. Application of corporate governance expected to mitigate the asymmetry of information and increase the confidence of shareholders. This study aimed to examine the relationship of corporate governance and tax evoidance practices and their effect on audit delay and firm value. Samples were obtained through purposive sampling and as many as 130 observations, after deducting the data outliers, the final sample of 125 observations 2010-2014 of corporate banking listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression with SPSS version 17. </em></p><em>The results show that the first model: reputation, of KAP, audit quality, and audit committee has no effect on tax avoidance, while independent  commissioner negative effect on tax avoidance; The second model suggests that tax avoidance and independent commissioner has no effect on audit delay, while the audit committee negatively affect audit delay; The third model shows that tax avoidance (negative) and the audit committee (positive) effect on the value of firm, while the independent commissioner has not affect on value of firm.</em>

One important indicator factor for assessing the company's future prospects is to see the extent to which the company's profitability has grown. The purpose of this study was to determine the Relationship between Improving the Quality of Company Value through Corporate Governance, Gender Director, Audit Reputation in Conventional Banking and Islamic Banking in Indonesia 2013-2018. This research was conducted in listed companies that are members of the financial sector (Conventional and Sharia Banking) which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2018 from 31 banking companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange from a period of 6 years from 2013 to 2018. Methods used is purposive sampling, namely the technique of determining the sample with certain considerations. While the data analysis method using SEM and AMOS. The results of this study indicate that the Independent Board (Independent Board) does not have a significant positive effect on company performance and firm value (2) Gender Director (Female directorship) does not have a significant negative effect on company performance and firm value (3) Board Members (Managerial Board) ) has a significant positive effect on company performance; but Board Members (Managerial Board) do not have a significant positive effect on firm value. This study aims to determine the effect of financial distress, company size, and corporate governance on audit delay. This research was conducted at mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. The number of samples taken was 32 companies so that there were 96 observations, with a purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. Based on the results of the analysis found that financial distress and independent board of commissioners have positive effect on audit delay. Firm size, audit committee and institutional ownership have negative effect on audit delay. Keywords: Financial distress, firm size, corporate governance, audit delay

This study aims to analyze the effect of the effectiveness of internal control, independent commissioners, the expertise of the board of commissioners, the number of audit committees, and the expertise of the audit committee on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2016-2018. This research is expected to be a material consideration for companies in making decisions related to taxation. The deductive approach used in this study by developing hypotheses based on relevant theories and findings of previous studies. Agency theory is used to see the effect of corporate governance on tax avoidance. The data collection method uses secondary data from the company's financial statements and annual reports according to specific criteria. Data analysis was performed by descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression. The results of the regression analysis prove that effectiveness of internal control and number of audit committees had a positive effect which means higher effectiveness of internal control and number of audit committees cause more tax avoidance, conversely independent commissioners and expertise of the board of commissioners had a negative effect which shows greater independent commissioners and expertise of the board of commissioners cause less tax avoidance. Another result claim that the expertise of the audit committee did not affect on tax avoidance. In contrast to previous studies, this study is more varied by combining several independent variables. Tax avoidance turns into become most part satisfactory tax assessment practice, despite the fact that the practice isn’t in opposition to the law that can’t be acknowledged , should be forestalled, and gone against. This study expect to inform the impact of executive compensation, executive character, audit committee and audit quality on tax avoidance of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample selection method in this study uses purposive sampling. The sample of this study is mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results of this study proved that executive character has positive effect on tax avoidance and executive compensation, audit committee, and audit quality have no effect on tax avoidance. This research is required to be the reason for decision making by the management to not to rehearse tax avoidance and make thought for investor to not settle on speculation choices dependently on the evaluation of corporate governance perspectives that don’t influence the organization in carrying out tax avoidance practice.How to Cite:Ardillah, K., & Prasetyo C, A. The purpose of the study is to analyze the influence of executive character and corporate governance dimensions on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies that listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2012-2016. The samples of this study is 37 companies that selected by using purposive sampling method. The results of this study shows that: Executive characters positive effect on tax avoidance. Independent commissioners not effect on tax avoidance. The audit committee not effect on tax avoidance. Audit quality positive effect on tax avoidance.

The objective of this research was to prove empirically the factors affecting the good corporate governance and the return on assets onthe tax avoidance of the manufacturing companies indexed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2014-2016. The independent variables of this research werethe institutional ownership, the managerial ownership, the proportion of independent board of Commissioners, the audit committee, the audit quality, the return on assets; while, the dependent variable of this research wasthe tax avoidance. The data collectingtechnique used in this research was the purposive sampling. The number of sample used in this research was 57 manufacturing companies indexed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2016. The data analysis technique used in this research was the multiple linear regressionby using IBM SPSS Version 20 program. The result of this research showed that the managerial ownership, the audit quality, and the return on assets affected the tax avoidance; while, the institutional ownership, the proportion of independent board of commissioners, and theaudit committee did not have any effect on the tax avoidance

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of profitability and corporate governance on tax avoidance at manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2012-2016. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The population in this study amounted to 18 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the annual report period used in research in 2012 until 2016. Total samples used in research using purposive sampling as many as 90 manufacturing companies that have met the study criteria of the total population. Data collection is done by downloading the annual report data on the official website of Indonesia Stock Exchange which is www.idx.co.id and the site of each company. The results of this study show that (1) profitability has a significant negative effect on tax avoidance, (2) the composition of board of commissioners, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership have no significant effect on tax avoidance.     Keywords: profitability, corporate governance, board composition, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, tax avoidance.

Abstract : This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, corporate governance, firm size, and capital intensity on tax avoidance in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2018. Corporate governance in this study uses leverage variables and independent commissioners. The population of this study is 54 property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2018. Determination of samples using purposive sampling method and obtaining 23 companies with certain criteria. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the profitability and firm size variables had a significant negative effect on tax avoidance, while the leverage variable, independent commissioner, and capital intensity did not affect tax avoidance.Keywords : Profitabilitas, Corporate Governance, Firm Size, Capital Intensity, Tax Avoidance

This study aimed to examine the effect of tax planning and mechanisms of good corporate governance (GCG) to corporate value and to test the effect of transparency of information on the influence of tax planning and mechanisms of good corporate governance (GCG) with the value of the company. The population in this study manufacturing consumer goods industry sectors listed on the Stock Exchange in 2012-2015. The sampling method using purposivesampling with a final total sample of 68 companies. The analysis technique used is Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA). The analysis showed that the independent variables are tax planning, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and audit quality have no effect on firm value. While the composition of the independent board positive effect on firm value. Tax planning and mechanisms of good corporate governance (GCG) jointly affect the value of the company, as well as the transparency of information can weaken the influence between tax planning and mechanisms of good corporate governance (GCG) to corporate value.

The purpose of this study aims to examine the effect of corporate governance on tax evasion. Corporate governance is proxied represented by the audit committee, the proportion of independent board of commissioners, institutional ownership and audit quality. Tax evasion is measured by the size of the gap of an effective tax rate. This study uses quantitative research design and data from the Finance Authority Service / OJK listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. By using purposive sampling in the observation period of 2013-2016, it has obtained 92 observations. The Data has been analyzed by using ordinary least square regression model. Regression results has identified that the proportion of independent board of commissioners and corporate performance have negatively affected tax evasion. Audit committees, audit quality and the size of company positively affected tax evasion. However, the institutional ownership has had no significant effect on tax evasion. These results have indicated that some of the mechanisms of corporate governance in Indonesia have been effective according to its function for the shareholders.
