Abstract. Learning equipment is important things that determine the quality of the learning process and output. We need a study about validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the learning equipment to ensure teaching and learning quality. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the validity of the learning equipment based on guided discovery, especially the students’ worksheets. This research was a descriptive qualitative research that provides the result of students’ worksheets and experts recommendation. The experts who validated these student’s worksheets were three experts on mathematics education. The instruments used in this study was the validation sheets for LKPD. The result of validation sheets analysis for LKPD showed that in general, the students’ worksheets were valid. The validity of the didactical aspect and contents aspect sequently were 0,667 dan 0,704. Keywords: students’ worksheets, guided discovery, mathematical concepts understanding, mathematical reasoning abilities Abstrak.

Student assessment belongs in the centre of our teaching and learning considerations—it is the engine that drives and shapes student learning. In online contexts, it is argued that although teaching and learning has been dramatically reconceptualised, assessment practices are lagging, and more likely to imitate conventional practices such as end of term exams that encourage rote learning and the dissemination of fixed content. The authors argue that it is essential for online educators to bring the same innovation to their assessment practices that they have to their other online teaching practices. Ten key qualities of good online assessment are offered for consideration and discussion, namely: 1. A clear rationale and consistent pedagogical approach 2. Explicit values, aims, criteria, and standards 3. Relevant authentic and holistic tasks 4. Awareness of students’ learning contexts and perceptions 5. Sufficient and timely formative feedback 6. A facilitative degree of structure 7. Appropriate volume of assessment 8. Valid and reliable 9. Certifiable as students’ own work 10. Subject to continuous improvement via evaluation and quality enhancement

Information technology is a necessity in every activity, so the application of technology in education is expected to improve teaching and learning quality, student motivation and practical and theoretical knowledge aggregation. One of these types of technology are web 2.0 technologies, which are widely used in the world of teaching and learning process. The article analyzes the impact of technology to educational process, gives the varioususes of online technologies for education examples. The paper uses comparative analysis, research and other work synthesis, methods.

The aim of this reaserch is to get interactive audio visual teaching media on the discussion about teaching Genetic Substance that can be used by teacher and educators so that it can vary and improve teaching and learning quality at senior high school. The method is model designing multimedia based research consisted of five stoges : 1) analysis; 2). Design; 3). Development; 4). Implementation and 5). Evaluation. The outcome of this research was media which were developed very well. It can be describle by the following : (1). Media validity gave good criteria to the media based on the visual look, and (2). Material validity gave good criteria based on the media produced in the research, (3). As a peer evaluation state that the product is worth given to a small Group to learner as a user, (4) student’s response showed from the test given to a small group of student state that this audio visual media had good quality so that it’s easy to understand, (5). Student’s response showed from the test given to a large group of student state that the media produced in this research can improve the student’s interest to study. The research was conducted SMA N 4 Jambi, the subjects were all 12th grade students and the teacher of Biology subject

The aim of this chapter is to outline the results of over 20 years’ research into university teaching from a student-learning perspective, how teaching from this perspective relates to student learning (its processes and outcomes), and the implications of this research for supporting quality assurance of, quality enhancement of, and the recognition and reward of teaching and learning in higher education. These results have important implications for how we develop and implement quality assurance and enhancement processes in teaching and learning and how we recognise and reward quality teaching in higher education. If the outcomes of good teaching are quality student learning, then quality assurance, quality enhancement, and the recognition and reward for good teaching needs to focus on the students and their learning. This is a student-focused view of quality teaching. Some of these implications are described by examining some recent developments in quality assurance, enhancement, and recognition and reward at the University of Hong Kong.
