Abstract Background: Limited diffusion and utilization of health technology have greatly halted the improvement of resource integration and healthcare outcomes. However, the dynamic mechanism of health technology diffusion in the context of the integrated care system (ICS) remained largely unknown. The purpose of this study is to develop and validate the scale on Dynamics of Health Technology Diffusion in Integrated Care System (DHTDICS) for providing instruments to investigate the health technology diffusion in the ICS. Methods: The scale with 39 items was initially designed on the basis of the proposed model developed from previous research. And it was validated in a cross-sectional questionnaire survey including 246 participants. Exploratory factor analysis was used to assess domains in the questionnaire, and analyzed correlation, factorials, internal consistency and validity of the questionnaire. In addition, structural equation modeling was performed to determine the total effects of each domain on the health technology diffusion in the ICS.Results: Reliability analysis revealed excellent internal consistency, as the value of Cronbach’s alpha greater than 0.80 for all of the four DHTDICS domains in this study. An acceptable validity was confirmed through tests of construct validity, convergent validity and discriminant validity. With respect to the potential domains and dimensions that DHTDICS contributes, the results highlight the existence of 4 domains: personal beliefs, technical drivers, organizational readiness, and external environment. Among them, the impact on health technology diffusion is, in descending order, organizational readiness, personal beliefs, external environment, and technical drivers.Conclusions: The findings of this study support the validity of the DHTDICS, and will be a helpful reference for developing future intervention strategies to promote health technology diffusion in the ICS.

AbstractMethodology for evaluation of impact of health technology assessments (HTAs) is outlined and its use illustrated by applying it to 21 HTAs produced by CETS. Impact on policies and technology diffusion was identified in documents, through interviews, questionnaires, and use of data banks. There was evidence that all but three reports influenced policy and that cost-minimization studies caused savings of between $16 million and $27 million annually. Precise estimates of impact will seldom be possible, but systematic documentation of effects is feasible.

A survey based design in research is followed due to numeric and accurate description of paradigms covering attitudes and opinions of the respondents. The purpose of survey research is to gather data from groups of people by utilizing a questionnaire. A questionnaire was designed for B school students titled “Perception among B School Graduates about the importance of Soft Skills Training in enhancing Employability Competency”. It was to analyze the impact of soft skills training on the employability competency of B-School graduates. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to establish convergent validity, discriminant validity and internal consistency (reliability) of the above questionnaire before conducting the survey. Convergent validity ideally connotes to the measure of constructs to be theoretically related and actually is related. Discriminant validity on the other hand denotes the distance between items, and that they should not be too closely related to one another. Convergent validity is proven when constructs that are similar respond to one another, while Discriminant validity is said to exist if we can sufficiently differentiate two of the dissimilar constructs. Reliability refers to the confirmation of the instrument to be free from errors. Structural Equation Modeling was used to establish internal consistency, which indicates how well items score when it comes to the test of consistency against one another. The main purpose of this study was to evaluate and test the validity and reliability of the research instrument used to analyze the impact of soft skills training on the employability competency of B-School graduates


Fiber to the home is a useful technology which is used by different industries including healthcare. Though it is expensive that is why it is difficult to implement worldwide but still it proves essential tools in the healthcare sector. It is a helpful tool in different health care purpose such as monitoring, sending fast and effective information, enhancing the quality of health care, providing E-health solutions, telemedicine, tele-surgery, health education and many more. In this paper we are trying to find out the scope, opportunities and difficulties of fiber to home in Indian health care system and the impact of FTTH on enhancing efficiencies of Health-Care system and quality service delivery. For measuring the impact of FTTH, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) has been used as a statistical tool in this study. It is found that the growing demand of health care need requires fast and effective health care which is only possible by having high speed network facilities. So if Indian health care system is able to implement FTTH, then they can reach every people and can enhance the quality of health care.

This study aims to investigate the impact of parental career behaviors on undergraduate student’s career exploration and the mediating role of career self-efficacy. In the literature it is suggested that some social and individual factors facilitate students’ career exploration. Therefore, parental career behaviors and career self-efficacy is considered as predictors of student’s career exploration attitudes within the scope of the study. In this respect, data which are collected from 405 undergraduate students having an education on tourism and hotel management field by the survey method are analyzed by using the structural equation modeling. The results of the study indicate that parental career behaviors which are addressed support; interference and lack of engagement have a significant effect on student’s career exploration behaviors such as intended-systematic exploration, environment exploration and self-exploration. In addition, it has been found that one of the dimensions of parental career behaviors addressed as a lack of engagement has a significant effect on career self-efficacy levels of students. However, research results indicate that student’s career self-efficacy has a significant effect on only the self-exploration dimension. On the other hand, career self-efficacy has a partial mediating role between lack of engagement attitudes of parents and career exploration behaviors of students.

This study intends to integrate the relationship of market orientation, innovative capacity and firm performance to Information and Communication Technology(ICT) SMEs. The purpose of this study is to identify the role of absorptive capacity and transformative capacity that affect the performance of ICT SMEs. Hypotheses were established between five latent variables. A total of six hypotheses were established including the moderated effects of absorptive capacity and transformative capacity. Of the data collected after the survey, 112 valid surveys were selected as the final sample, except for 17 questionnaires with high non - response and insincere response. The empirical analysis of this study used smartpls3.0, Partial Least Squares (PLS), a variance-based structural equation modeling. The empirical analysis of this study revealed that the impact of market orientation on innovative capacity was significant. Moreover, the innovative capacity had a positive effect on the performance of ICT SMEs. In addition, the absorptive activity had a positive moderated effect between the market orientation and the innovative capacity. On the other hand, the transformative capacity showed a positive moderated effect in relation to innovative capacity and firm performance. Our empirical results have demonstrated the importance of knowledge based capacity in the ICT SMEs.

CSR has become one of the imperative implements in satisfying customers. The impartial of this research is to calculate CSR, relationship marketing, and customer satisfaction. There is no more study accompanied in Pakistan to quantify the effect of CSR and relationship marketing on the relationship maintainer and customer loyalty. To find out deductive approach and survey method is used as research approach and research strategy respectively. This research design is descriptive and quantitative study. For data, collection questionnaire method with semantic differential scale and seven point scales are adopted. Data has been collected by adopting the non-probability convenience technique as sampling technique and the sample size is 400. For factor confirmatory factor analysis, structure equation modeling and medication analysis, regression analysis Amos software were used. Strong empirical evidence supports that the customer’s perception of CSR performance is highly influenced by the values

The study purpose is to analyse the impact of training, competence, motivation and leadership towards performance either directly or through job satisfaction as a mediator variable. As many as 55 staff are considered as respondents in this research, and census method is used as the sampling method. Primary data in this study were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Likert Scale. Secondary data are obtained from the organization structure Sukamandi Apparatus Training Centre (BDA), performance appraisal, staff attendance, information system and personnel management. Structural Equation Modeling Analisis of Moment Structures (SEM-AMOS) is used to process and analyze data. This study shows staff with high education, competence and leadership have a significant effect on performance, While the job satisfaction is significant in mediating the influence of training, competence and leadership on performance. Next on the employee with low education, training, competence, motivation and leadership have a significant influence on performance, while job satisfaction is significant in mediating the effect of competence and leadership on staff performance.   Keywords:  training, competence, motivation, leadership, job satisfaction, performance
