So far, in implementing school strategies, they tend not to utilize Information and Communication Technology (ICT), despite the availability of ICT resources available. Stages of strategic management are needed to generate the vision, mission, objectives, policy, program, budget, and procedures as well as control and evaluation process as an effort to utilize ICT to improve school quality. Based on the interpretation and the results of the study, it is concluded that schools have organized stages in strategic management that enable schools to have a quality profile. The impact of effective utilization of ICTs for schools is the achievement of effective school management, as per the National Education Standards, which is characterized by effective planning, implementation, control, and evaluation of school ICTs.The purpose of this study is to get a general description, describe, and reveal the Strategic Management of Information and Communication Technology Utilization to Improve the Quality of School Learning in Ciledug Al Musaddadiyah Vocational High School and Garut 1 Vocational High School, both on environmental analysis, strategic formulation, implementation and strategic evaluation. The research method used in this research is the case study method, because the problems studied occur in the place and situation of Ciledug Al Musaddadiyah Vocational School and Vocational High School 1 Garut. The use of case study models in this study is based on the consideration that to provide an overview of the strategic management activities of the use of ICTs carried out at vocational high schools with the ultimate goal of being able to improve the quality of school learning. Based on observations in the field of SMK 1 Garut and SMK Al Musaddadiyah Ciledug Garut is one of the public schools and private schools that have these advantages.

The lack of Biology teaching materials in senior high school in the Kerinci District has promoted this research. The purpose of this development research is to produce e-modules as teaching materials used by students in Biology subjects. The model used in developing this e-module is the 4-D model, which consists of 4 stages, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Biology e-modules on plantae and animalia material based on the potential of the Kerinci region were validated by media and material experts. The results of the media expert validation obtained the final percentage of 90% (very valid category) and the material expert validation obtained a percentage of 75% (valid category). From the results of the field test, the teacher responded that the e-modules produced were suitable for use in biology class X high school learning with a percentage of 92.5% (very good category). Furthermore, e-module trials on students obtained responses that the products produced were also proper to be used in biology learning in class X of senior high school. The small group test obtained a score of 85% (excellent category) and the large group test obtained score 78.3% (good category). The use of the developed e-modules in learning resulted in a score of 76.3% (successful category).

AbstractThis paper introduces the use of topological data analysis (TDA) as an unsupervised machine learning tool to uncover classification criteria in complex inorganic crystal chemistries. Using the apatite chemistry as a template, we track through the use of persistent homology the topological connectivity of input crystal chemistry descriptors on defining similarity between different stoichiometries of apatites. It is shown that TDA automatically identifies a hierarchical classification scheme within apatites based on the commonality of the number of discrete coordination polyhedra that constitute the structural building units common among the compounds. This information is presented in the form of a visualization scheme of a barcode of homology classifications, where the persistence of similarity between compounds is tracked. Unlike traditional perspectives of structure maps, this new “Materials Barcode” schema serves as an automated exploratory machine learning tool that can uncover structural associations from crystal chemistry databases, as well as to achieve a more nuanced insight into what defines similarity among homologous compounds.
