ABSTRACT Considering the growing importance that is having the appreciation of the company based on the resources, processes, the perspective of knowledge, organizational learning and the pursuit of effectiveness/efficiency we have been motivated studying the existent relationship between the integration of resources and the effective/efficient achievements. Now we know that the resources: •          allow the business production and when they are related to the product, they check out the productivity. •          Maintain the organizations and prevent the anomie. •          compromise the majority of the share capital, impacting the business liquidity We also recognize that the effective/efficiency performances are the most intensely sought after by modern companies, that’s why we must collect and provide answers to these concerns, making use of the business perspective and the learning achieved in our training. The effectiveness / efficiency will only be achieved whether resources which must be integrated to the company are required to produce, In the same way that the products obtained will be the ones those customers prefer. Such an alignment is essential on the everyday business work.

This chapter reflects on the other chapters in the book with an emphasis on turmoil and flux in both higher education and business. Major concerns include self-preservation, resource management, and transformational purposes. Separately, the academy and for-profit realms are facing complex issues. Once involved in inter-organizational partnerships, maintenance of successful relationships is promoted through organizational learning, collaborative cognition, and ethics. Again, issues and viewpoints from each direction are summarized and discussed: a business perspective and the academy's perspective. With fewer than 50 years of attention in this area and minimal organized research, the need for more and deeper exploration and inquiry are paramount and outlined.

This article uses a Foucauldian conceptualization of processes of subjectification to examine the everyday learning of a manager in and through their talk about work. A Foucauldian poststructuralist approach draws attention to the discursive mechanisms whereby people are turned into and turn themselves into subjects. This process is theorized by Foucault as the interplay of technologies of power with technologies of the self (Rose, 1996, 1999a). This perspective provides an account of subjectivity as integrally interrelated with power and knowledge, thereby challenging a prevailing view in much of the organizational learning and workplace learning literature of subjectivity as autonomous and essential. A Foucauldian perspective enables power to be introduced into accounts of everyday learning at work but in a way that avoids reproducing a top-down and monolithic view of power. Importantly, it provides the analytic space for re-presenting workplace learners as active in the ongoing negotiation of identity, rather than only acted on by top down forces.

___Palabras Clave: Hábitat, asentamientos humanos, marginalidad, sostenibilidad, desarrollo humano. ___Abstract: The habitat, place where there is territorially re-defined the culture of a diverse group, is a scene for the meetings and misunderstandings, the light and the darkness. The origins of the research in the processes of housing resettlements that happened in the coffee axis immediately after the earthquake of the year 1991, and take Simon Bolívar neighborhood in Armenia, as a study case of specific case. His aim was to investigate possible reasons of the strong break that one presented in the process of resettlement. The method of work - action develops by means of an investigation, seeking to reconstruct an experience replicable in other sectors of the country. The results of the study propose themselves a series of factors that must be born in mind for the development of a sustainably strategy for populations in condition of vulnerability and of marginality. The most significant conclusions appears, to have always present in the processes of intervention of the habitat, which is constructed and is built for human beings who in his complexity are not subjects of irrefutable diagnoses, not always it is the result of the awaited thing. Being necessary the modeling combines of the strategies of sustainability, overcoming the short visions that only lead to an enormous loss of resources, of efforts and of weakening of the share capital that has been achieved to construct. ___Keywords: Habitat, human settlements, marginality, sustainability, human development. ___Recibido febrero 10 de 2014 / Aceptado abril 28 de 2014

Abstract. Research on age differences in media usage has shown that older adults are more likely than younger adults to select positive emotional content. Research on emotional aging has examined whether older adults also seek out positivity in the everyday situations they choose, resulting so far in mixed results. We investigated the emotional choices of different age groups using video games as a more interactive type of affect-laden stimuli. Participants made multiple selections from a group of positive and negative games. Results showed that older adults selected the more positive games, but also reported feeling worse after playing them. Results supplement the literature on positivity in situation selection as well as on older adults’ interactive media preferences.
