The current global transition to a new phase of development under the influence of the Fourth industrial revolution is characterized by the emergence of end-to-end technologies, increasing the speed of introduction of new developments, reducing the life cycle of products, the emergence of new players, strengthening trends in digital transformation. Against the background of the formation of the digital economy, a limited group of leading countries focused on the use of renewable resources and possessing advanced production technologies is emerging.

The lack of own funds of enterprises is one of the main problems in resolving issues related to the expansion, the acquisition of new equipment or the replacement of the old one. In contemporary economic conditions, it is leasing that is considered one of the most progressive ways of financing business activity. This financial toolkit is able to provide enterprises with access to the most advanced production technologies and equipment. At the same time, this mechanism is paid insufficient attention in our country. To solve these problems, the authors propose, firstly, the implementation of the algorithm for the development of the reproduction of the material and technical base of organizations based on the use of financial leasing. Secondly, a technique for calculating leasing payments based on a parametric model is suggested, taking into account the application of lowering coefficients. The implementation of the proposed toolkit is aimed at improving leasing relations as one of the most important factors of the development of the material and technical base, and funding for reproduction processes.

To identify determinants of labor productivity, correlation relationships were estimated for indicators reflecting the influence of 30 socio-economic and innovative factors in the regions for 2015-2017. Of the 30 factors, for some factors, a significant correlation was found, characterizing their indicators and labor productivity. For these indicators, models of linear production functions were constructed. Modeling made it possible to establish that the following factors have a significant impact on labor productivity: capital productivity, investment, foreign investment, the number of government employees, wages, income inequalities, the number of university faculty, the number of advanced production technologies used, and the consumer price index. The instability of assessing the impact of indicators characterizing the determinants of labor productivity can be explained by two reasons of a different nature. Firstly, the development of the country's economic system at present may in fact be unstable. This problem determines the need for additional research. Secondly, the models obtained by the standard inclusion-exclusion method without taking into account and eliminating the multicollenarity effect can significantly reduce the reliability of estimates obtained by the least common square method. This determines the need to continue work using a more advanced modeling technique.

An increasing shortening of product life cycles, as well as the trend towards highly individualized food products, force manufacturers to digitize their own production chains. Especially the collection, monitoring, and evaluation of food data will have a major impact in the future on how the manufacturers will satisfy constantly growing customer demands. For this purpose, an automated system for collecting and analyzing food data was set up to promote advanced production technologies in the food industry. Based on the technique of laser triangulation, various types of food were measured three-dimensionally and examined for their chromatic composition. The raw data can be divided into individual data groups using clustering technologies. Subsequent indexing of the data in a big data architecture set the ground for setting up real-time data visualizations. The cluster-based back-end system for data processing can also be used as an organization-wide communication network for more efficient monitoring of companies’ production data flows. The results not only describe the procedure for digitization of food data, they also provide deep insights into the practical application of big data analytics while helping especially small- and medium-sized enterprises to find a good introduction to this field of research.

The article summarizes the main findings regarding a study on global problems, with an emphasis on global energy problems and possible solutions. To find solutions to global problems, the conditions of the new industrial revolution were taken into account, the features of technological development of economies in countries worldwide were investigated and, namely the essence of economic paradigms aimed at solving global problems was determined. Convergence of NBIC-technologies as a key factor of the new industrial revolution were characterized, and the process of converging knowledge, technologies and society as a mechanism for solving global problems was studied. Trends in the development of scientific and technical, innovative activities in Ukraine and countries worldwide were determined. In particular, the main directions for development of converging and advanced production technologies that are most promising for developed countries, developing countries and Ukraine are presented.

The paper is about main trends of cooperation activity in research and development in Russia nowadays. It is focused on types of cooperation and types of partners in joint projects. Special attention is paid to cooperation in manufacturing. This makes it possible to diagnose possible points of innovation growth, that is, types of manufacturing activities that are of interest to both Russian and foreign partners. The study of the partnership in the dynamics allowed us to see a reduction in the share of suppliers of equipment, raw and materials in joint projects, as well as the share of consulting firms. To study the factors that have a decisive influence on the cooperation activity of organizations, a logit model is created. It shows that the probability of cooperation increases with the growth of novelty of the created advanced production technologies, innovation and patent activity of enterprises. The proposed aggregate indicator of cooperation activity can provide regular monitoring of cooperation and partnership in R&D.

Considering the necessity of using light weight, high strength and corrosion resistant materials, automotive and aerospace industries need to use advanced production technologies. Hydroforming has been regarded as one of the new technologies in forming of aluminium and magnesium alloys. These alloys have very low formability at room temperature which will be improved at elevated temperatures. In this paper, AA1050 aluminium alloy tube is numerically and experimentally investigated at different temperatures. Thickness distribution in forming zone is studied under different thermal conditions. Numerical results have been verified by experiments and there is a good agreement.
