It seems necessary that the police surroundings should get known about the natural environmental protection which sozology is. During the research that I carried out among the policemen I’ve done the questionnare about information and ecological consciousness of the police. I’ve examined 500 policemen. Just 2 % of the surveyed brought the environmental protection to their mind, 98% wrongly thought just about ecology. This situation forces wider defining teh sozology and presenting its episthemological and methodological aspects. What is more it demands wider participation in police teaching programmes.

This paper identified the great contribution of Flora Nwapa’s Efuru to ideas of ecological consciousness, and environmental protection, using theory that interlaces ecocriticism cum feminist criticism. The methodology therefore involves the conversation or ideas on the images of women and nature in ‘Efuru’, the association between the oppression of women and exploitation of nature by male chauvinist, thereby enslaving the female and nature in the commercial market value. From an ecofeminist perspective, this paper discovered that Flora Nwapa inculcates her novel with a theme of feminine and natural liberation from domination and violence. Flora Nwapa foresees the establishment of symbiosis, in which there is no male oppression or environment exploitation. Keywords: ecological conscience, male oppression, ecofeminism, domination, interconnectedness

he article is devoted to the study of the influence of ecological public con- sciousness on the state of perception of ecological problems in European countries and Ukraine. Ecological consciousness is considered as a latent determinant of modern tendencies of realization of the concept of sustainable development in the context of greening of the international economic system. It is noted that in conditions of social uncertainty, people have the effect of «ecological alienation» as a characteristic of the state of perception of environmental problems in the minds of members of modern society. Although the issues of rational use of economic resources, finding ways to green the international economy, preventing man-made risks and the global envi- ronmental crisis are the focus of European governments, an effective solution to these issues is not possible without the reliable support of society. After all, the effectiveness of the environmental policy of each state depends on the trends of perception of environmental problems by its citizens. Issues of environmental consciousness are more related to ethical categories, as they have a significant impact on the formation of civic attitudes of the individual regarding the perception of the importance of certain aspects of society. That is why the analysis of the state of ecological consciousness of the inhabitants of European countries and Ukraine was studied according to the results of the 7th wave, 2017-2020 of the comparative study “World Values Survey” (WVS) using comparative and typological analysis. The World Values Survey is the largest non-profit international survey of human beliefs and values, which contributes to the monitoring of the Sustainable Development Goals and the goals set by the UN program for the period after 2015. From the presented data set, the basic empirical components were identified, which, according to the authors, illustrate the European context of the greening of con- sciousness - the attitude to technologization; the priority of the ecological state of the country over the economic development of soci- ety; the state of trust in environmental protection organizations and the level of active civil position on environmental protection. On the basis of the secondary analysis of data, the key modern tendencies of formation of ecological consciousness in the countries of Europe and Ukraine are substantiated: tendency to ecological thinking; formation of ecological culture; economic rationality. The conclusion is made about the expediency of monitoring and forecasting the state of ecological public consciousness as one of the factors regulating global socio-economic processes in European countries and Ukraine. According to the authors, the environmental consciousness of members of society determines the degree of permissible range of orientation of a country to implement environmentally friendly goals of sustainable development. The study of the variability of the dominance of the trends of ecological consciousness mentioned in the article in certain socio-demographic communities allows to create an effective system of social guarantees in providing conditions for effective socio-economic development and maintaining an ecologically healthy living environment, both in Europe as a whole and in individual countries, in particular.

The article is devoted to methodological aspects addressed in building up the framework for the satellite account of the expenditure on environmental protection in Ukraine. It is argued that any study of the environment need computations and analyses of quantitative indicators based on the statistics data. Problems of statistical accounting are, therefore, the central ones in investigating the expenditure on environmental protection. One of the most urgent tasks is to ensure comparability of data, to enable comparisons of data at all the levels in order to find output key tendencies and patterns in the expenditure on environmental protection, comparisons of figures relating to environmental protection and macroeconomic situation.  The article contains an analysis of the phases of creating the European standard of the system for environmental-economic accounting on the whole and the environmental protection expenditures account in particular. The sources of data for creating the satellite account for the expenditure on environmental protection in Ukraine, and the indicators included in the EU questionnaire designed to collect data on national expenditures on environmental protection are highlighted. It is demonstrated that data from many sources are used to build the satellite account for the expenditure on environmental protection. It is mentioned that by now Ukraine has not introduced ad hoc surveys of households on the expenditures on environmental protection. Results of the study show that the main sources of data for computations of the expenditures on environmental protection in Ukraine can be the official statistical observation by type of expenditure, collected by form 1 – environmental expenditure (annual) “Expenditures on environmental protection and environmental payments”, where the expenditure are recorded according to the Classification of Environmental Protection Activities. The sources of secondary information, i. e. the data from regular official statistical observations and administrative data that are collected with other purposes and reflect selected aspects of expenditure on EP, are recommended for use when developing the methodology.

In the article, the author considers the main trends in the development of ecocentric-ecological consciousness in modern society. The current state has been analyzed as well as the complexity of the development of the ecocentric-ecological consciousness of an individual has been revealed. The increasing amount of scientific literature on the problems of environmental education confirms the relevance of the research topic in modern society. The article substantiates the need to re-profile the ecocentric-ecological consciousness in the education system, the need to re-target the behavior of the young generation to the nature-related sphere, and considers the value aspects of environmental protection activities.

Composing the programs for the education of specialists in the field of environmental protection requires clear ideas about the concepts, place of basic disciplines and the main issues of the future specialty. Peculiarities of methodological aspects of description of levels and assessment of quality of education in terminology of competences and learning outcomes are considered. They consist in the predominance of competencies, that have a physical meaning and ensure the filling of the "core" of the educational program with physical principles, methods and models. The study of polluting processes in natural objects requires knowledge of the physics of aerodisperse systems in connection with the solution of aerosol emissions into the atmosphere, knowledge of the physics of the dispersible silt-covered upcasts into the aquatic environment, knowledge and understanding of physical phenomena of heat and mass transfer processes in soil, as in the granular system, knowledge of the physics of external radiation, including sound, heat, electromagnetic, in particular, ionizing radiation, and their impact on the environment. Peculiarities of the educational system of training specialists in the field of environmental protection take into account the tasks of systemic radioecology, among which the tasks of radiation monitoring are especially important. The conceptual approach to the study of radioecology is proposed not as a whole, mixing the laws of physics, chemistry and, for example, biology, but by individual branches, and systematically.
