Mushrooms are one of the strategic agro-industrial commodities in Indonesia. It is because the mushroom market share for consumption is very high. People consume mushrooms as a snack, side dishes, and also as a main dish. The mushroom business in Malang Indonesia is very lively, especially in this city, there are many students and employees as consumers who like snacks on the sidelines of their activities. Since environmental issues are becoming an integral part of business performances, policymakers and managers have started recognizing the importance of green innovation towards sustainable business performances. The role of the automotive parts industry is crucial in minimizing environmental degradation and promoting sustainable development. Yet few studies have focused on the connection between green entrepreneurial orientation and green innovation that may affect small and medium enterprise (SME) business performance. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of green entrepreneurial orientation on green innovations, and its effects on sustainable business performances in the automotive parts industry in Thailand. The sample consists of 226 SMEs in the automotive parts industry in Thailand. The partial least square method (PLS-SEM) has been used for the analysis of data. The results of the study show that green innovations have the strongest influence on economic and environmental performances. This study contributes to resource-based view theory by incorporating green innovation as a strategic competency of SMEs’ performance. Further, green entrepreneurial orientation and green innovation can assist SME managers in understanding the factors leading to sustainable performance of businesses.

Village funds allocation has been provided to village government by central government starting in 2015. The provision of village funds aims at ingreasing equitable development in urban areas. This study aims to design a model of implementation of village funds management and farmer empowerment, with a case of Manusasi Village, Timor Tengah Utara Distict, bordering with Timor Leste. This research was conducted in August-September 2020. The methods used in this research were quantitative descriptive analysis and SEM based on variance, namely Partial Least Square (PLS). The sampling method used in this study was accidental sampling, with the chosen sample of 75 households from the total popultation 258 huosehold farmers. Results of this study indicated that planning had a significant effect on the evaluation process of village funds. The multiplier effect value of village funds in Manusasi Village was 1.39. There was no direct effect between physical capital, social capital, and human capital on the empowermeny of farming community in Manusasi Village. An important component of the implementation model of village fund management and farmer empowerment is the socialisation of the use of village funds which aims to increase public knowledge about village funds and build partnerships with universities or other institutions as sources of experts. The role of experts is to help improve village fund management and improve the quality of programs and planning.

Design/methodology/approach – The developed conceptual model is tested using partial least square ( PLS ) using a sample of 30 creative industries small medium enterprises owners. Findings – The result of the PLS model shows that both EO and IC act as a basis for improved business performance among small and medium enterprises. Based on the research findings, it can be argued that both EO and EO fully unlock their value-creating potential among small and medium enterprises. Micro Enterprises form the majority of business establishments in Malaysia. They represent more than 90 percent of such establishments in the country. Interestingly, most studies have shown that entrepreneurial orientation (EO) is an important element of entrepreneurship for micro enterprises. Hence, in the era of robustness of technology and explosion of knowledge, the role of knowledge sharing and innovation should be incorporated in investigating the performance of micro enterprises. This paper aims to explore the business performance of selected micro enterprises in Malaysia. One hundred and six micro enterprises owners took part in the survey. Partial Least Square was used to analyze the data. The results show that while entrepreneurial orientation on its own has no direct impact on business performance, the practice of knowledge sharing and innovation practices does. Entrepreneurial orientation and knowledge sharing have shown a strong impact on innovation where innovation reflects the impact of all variables on business performance. The study has also shown that knowledge sharing and innovation are being practiced actively in micro enterprises, thus providing a good platform for future research. Keywords: Entrepreneurial orientation, knowledge sharing, innovation, business performance, micro enterprises

This study develops a model of integration which refers to the RBV of the firm to understand the control of strategic resources and entrepreneurial orientation as a basis for aligning competitive strategy in a dynamic environment and improved business performance. The results of SEM analysis of survey data as many as 153 export-oriented SMEs in Bali proved that the combination of strategic resources and entrepreneurial orientation is the underlying strategic instrument to implement the competitive strategy of SMEs, so as to improve or enhance its competitive position. A better competitive position of SMEs obtained, being able to align the dynamics of the business environment faced, and delivering SME to achieve improved business performance. If SMEs do not implement competitive strategy is based on the integration of strategic resources and entrepreneurial orientation, the dynamic environment encountered can inhibit or decrease the achievement of business performance.

Some researches on the role of innovation in determining business performance emphasizes aspects of top management involvement, resources, existing technological capabilities and organizational culture. This research aims to analyse the determinants of business performance factors, especially on the role of innovation as a mediating factor. This research is quantitative using Partial Least Square (PLS)-Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) models. The results of this study explain that Innovation and Management Capability do not have an influence on business performance in the SME accessories gadget at ITC Roxy Mas. However, entrepreneurial orientation has an influence on business performance in the gadget accessories SMEs at ITC Roxy Mas. Furthermore, entrepreneurial orientation and management ability have an influence on innovation in the gadget accessories SMEs at ITC Roxy Mas. The results of the indirect effect explain the entrepreneurial orientation and management capabilities that are mediated by innovation do not have an influence on business performance in the gadget accessories SMEs at ITC Roxy Mas. Purpose This study aims to explore the effect of crises on multinational companies’ (MNC) subsidiaries’ performance. It is hypothesized that crisis-led business underperformance will lead subsidiaries to choose market oriented or entrepreneurial oriented strategies (or both, “ambiorientation”). Finally, this study explores the idea that subsidiaries address market orientation (MO)-based strategies will address both exploration and exploitation outcomes, whereas those that choose entrepreneurial orientation (EO)-based strategies will focus on exploration only. Design/methodology/approach Partial-least square structural equation modelling was used to test the hypotheses. Data collection consisted of 280 full answers regarding MNC subsidiaries in Brazil. Findings The data provide evidence that crisis perception affects firms’ business performance. MNC subsidiaries in emerging economies, when confronting crises, take two different paths and use both market orientation, as well as entrepreneurial orientation (what the authors call “ambiorientation”). MO-based strategies cause both exploration and exploitation outcomes, and their combined result is comparable to EO-based strategies that focus only on exploration. Research limitations/implications Data collection was performed only in MNC subsidiaries in Brazil, and the results may differ depending on the area and the origin of the multinationals. Second, the sample concentrated on industrial activities, where there is space for both exploration and exploitation strategies. Originality/value This paper contributes to the literature by discussing the role of crises in shaping the possible strategic reactions multinational companies’ subsidiaries may undertake in emerging countries and their possible outcomes.
