This paper explores the influence of socioeconomics on travel behavior among public transport commuters to increase modal share. A face-to-face survey was carried out, and 904 usable questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS. The findings showed that level of education strongly influences travel behavior while there is not much difference in gender, age, income, and occupation. However, the categories in the groups provide good information relating to travel behavior. Suggestions and recommendations are provided to help the public transport service provider setting more strategic plans to encourage more individual riders to switch to public transport and sustain existing users.   Keywords: Socio-economics, travel behavior, public transport   eISSN: 2398-4287© 2021. This paper identifies components of satisfaction of public bus service in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.  Factor analysis is used to analyze 24 parameters satisfactions of public buses. This study succeeded in developing three dimensions of public bus service attributes, namely comfort, accessibility and safety and found that there is a slight difference in satisfaction between the minibus and bus transit, but users agreed that overcrowded and felt unsafe during the night were among the most significant attributes that affect their satisfaction. Transportation authorities can use these findings to enhance the quality of life of public transport users in the future. Public transportation helps to reduce air pollution that creates negative impacts on work performance, work quality, and productivity. The study investigates the effects of moral norms, social norms, and pro-environmental attitudes on the travel behavior of public transport commuters. A survey was carried in Greater Kuala Lumpur, and a total of 904 usable questionnaires were analyzed using Partial Least Squares. The findings showed that a pro-environmental attitude had a weak relationship to travel behavior, but moral norms played a strong instrumental influence when commuters chose public transport. The extraordinary societal challenges demand cities to be innovative and adaptable to the needs of urban citizens. In the Malaysian context, the Blue-Green Infrastructure (BGI) has not been well incorporated into the ULLs. This paper seeks to address this gap by exploring the potential of the Blue-Green Urban Living Labs (BGULLs) at the Sungai Bunus catchment area. Using Google Form, survey questionnaire is conducted among professionals and the public. Pruning is one of the most crucial tree maintenance activities which give an impact on the tree's health and structure. Besides, improper pruning will contribute to the risk of injury to property and the public. This study aims to assess pruning knowledge among four Local authorities in Malaysia. Results found that 69.3 percent of tree pruning workers have a Good pruning knowledge level. However, Topping, pruning types and pruning cut dimension shows the lowest mean percentage of the correct answer. The findings also show that there is a significant positive relationship between pruning knowledge and education level and frequency attending pruning courses.Keywords: Tree pruning; knowledge; sustainable practices; urban treeseISSN: 2398-4287 © 2020. The design of the public transport as to meet working women’s travelling needs is still lacking in Malaysian urban scenarios. Having that in mind, the increasing crime rate among these vulnerable group in urban area had further increase their level of fear while commuting to work. This is especially true for many working women who have no choice but to travel using public transport to their work place on a routine basis. To further investigate the factors of women travel pattern that affect the fear level among these vulnerable group of commuters, time and age were considered in this study. The purpose of this paper is to examine the usage of public library towards youth development. Generally, a public library offers information and educational resources to a community. Being that in the modern world, there are other modes in seeking information, the public library is often disregarded and being ignored of its existence. Factors that affect the use of public library such as accessibility, availability, comfortability and the maintenance of it plays an important role in determining its usage among youth. This paper discusses the interview data collection of an on-going research on accessibility of public buildings in Putrajaya. Main issues include the public awareness of PWD rights and the true concepts of Universal Design (UD). Main purposes are to investigate the building managers’ level of awareness and perception regarding the accessibility of their buildings and to study their knowledge on UD theory. Semi-structured interview was carried out with building managers from three public buildings in Putrajaya. Findings show that UD knowledge needs to be enhanced among building managers in order to increase awareness on inclusive environment in public buildings. The common issues of energy services related to customers’ complaints are delays in billing, inaccurate consumption measurement, lack of breakdown information, lack of real-time billing, and energy consumption.  A questionnaire survey was conducted using face-to-face methods during the pre-installation phase to determine the customers’ awareness, acceptance, knowledge, and benefits in using smart meters. The findings show that 69.6% of the customers are aware that the use of energy-efficient appliances can save electricity. This study shows that the customers, regardless of demographic profiles and background, portrayed overall good awareness of the smart metering and smart living concept.  Keywords: Awareness, Acceptance, Benefit, Smart Meter  eISSN: 2398-4287 © 2020.
