Abstract: India is one of the populated countries and Indian economy is highly depending on agriculture field. Indian farming is the main source of income for most of the population. So farmers are always curious about yield prediction. To increase yield production many factors are responsible like soil, weather, rain, fertilizers and pesticides. In the present study we are investigate the soil samples for its physico-chemical analysis in Wadwani Tehsil. The main purpose of present study is analyse the fertility level of the soil with the help of pH, EC, Organic Carbon, Nitrogen, Potassium, Phosphorous, Sulpher, Zinc etc. and recommend essential nutrients necessary in Wadwani Tehsil Marathwada region Maharashtra. Six representative samples were obtained and analysed for its pH, EC, Phosphorus, Potassium, and other important nutrient useful for agricultural. Algae are the diverse group of organisms in the soil and aquatic environment. The role of them in soil fertility enhancement has been extensively studied worldwide. Belagavi is a tropical agricultural belt in the North Karnataka region with highly fertile soil. Water and soil samples were collected randomly from the paddy field of 15–20 well-distributed spots in 4 selected locations viz Kusumali, Jamboti, Kinaye and Piranwadi. The identification revealed the presence of 94 species and 71 genera in the investigated sites. Among all, 62 species belonged to Bacillariophyceae, 14 species to Chlorophyceae, 10 species to Cyanophyceae, 3 to Xanthophyceae, followed by Trebouxiophyceae and Zygnematophyceae (2 species each) and one species of Ulvophyceae. The maximum number of 62 species was recorded from Kusamali, followed by 49 species in Kinaye, 44 in Jamboti and 35 in Piranwadi. The month of February had the highest number of species (61), decreased to 45 in March, 42 in April and 37 in May. Among the physicochemical parameters analysed for the soil samples, it was found that the pH of the soil is slightly acidic in all the study sites ranged between 5.03–5.85. Further, the electrical conductivity (EC) varied from 0.27–0.345 dS/m, found to be in a good range. Estimation of available micro and macronutrients of soil were measured, and it was found to be at low to moderate levels. The present study indicates the extensive distribution of different classes of algae in the rice fields of four study locations in Belagavi.

The present study was carried out to determine the periodic variation in physico-chemical characteristics of mangrove soil samples. The soil samples had been accrued from four distinctive places of Kundapura mangrove areas in three seasons, monsoon, pre-monsoon and post-monsoon. Soil analysis pertaining to various variables such as total Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, pH and Electrical conductivity. Soil pH is assorted from 3.84 to 6.66. Electrical conductivity is assorted from 0.02 dSm-1 to 9.60 dSm-1. Available nitrogen is assorted from 30.7 kg/ha to 323 kg/ha. Available phosphorus concentration has ranged between 1.37 kg/ha and 47.27 kg/ha. Available potassium is differed from 117.43 kg/ha to 537.63 kg/ha. The results confirmed variations in all of the analyzed parameters of the soils amassed from four stations.

This research is aimed to study distribution and abundance of meiofauna and the quality of physicochemicalcharacteristics of uppersite of code river and up stream river code Yogyakarta province. Samples weretaken using modified Pysto style corer and were located based on habitat types specific river, which are pool, riffle,rapid, left side and right side of water column. Sample taken four times for each zone. The parameter of for waterquality measured were dissolved oxygen. Water current, alkalinity and pHResult from the analysis showed that the abundance of meiofauna at code river the highest at left side zone.Which was 537.806 individu/m3 with relative abundance was 28,09% result from physico chemical parameter ofdissolved oxygenbetween 5,44 ppm – 6,0 ppm, alkalinity 20 ppm – 25 ppm , pH 7,10 – 7,18.and watercurrenntmeasured between 0,03 m/sec – 0,49 m/sec. The abundance of meiofauna at code river was dominated bygroup of Nematodes horizontal distribution of the fauna was the widest for Nematodes ostracoda, Rhizopoda andinsecta. Physico chemicalquality of code river water was relative good for meiofauna habitat and other waterorganisms

A farmer-friendly method of determining the most suitable cultivation soils would help in transferring new integrated soil management technologies. The potential for using soil color (Munsell data) was tested by physico-chemical analysis of 1028 ferrallitic soil samples from 289 profiles unequally allocated above 7 deg N in Côte d’Ivoire. Soil hue variations in depth and along the toposequence revealed the existence of vertical and lateral gradients of soil hue. The relative contribution of the different descriptors (clay, sand, carbon, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and calcium) to the three functions extracted using a discriminant analysis to differentiate the four groups of soils with different hues was evaluated as well as the analysis of variance to determine the possible groups number for each one of the descriptors. Differences between physico-chemical components of red (2.5YR and 5YR) and yellow (7.5YR and 10YR) soils were determined, especially for P, Mg and K in extension. A decreasing gradient of inherent soil fertility indicators with an increasing yellowness in soil hue was revealed using multiple regression models. The soils 2.5YR and 5YR were therefore deemed more appropriate for stable and sustainable agriculture.Key words: Hue, ferralsols, fertility, soil use
