Abstract: India is one of the populated countries and Indian economy is highly depending on agriculture field. Indian farming is the main source of income for most of the population. So farmers are always curious about yield prediction. To increase yield production many factors are responsible like soil, weather, rain, fertilizers and pesticides. In the present study we are investigate the soil samples for its physico-chemical analysis in Wadwani Tehsil. The main purpose of present study is analyse the fertility level of the soil with the help of pH, EC, Organic Carbon, Nitrogen, Potassium, Phosphorous, Sulpher, Zinc etc. and recommend essential nutrients necessary in Wadwani Tehsil Marathwada region Maharashtra. Six representative samples were obtained and analysed for its pH, EC, Phosphorus, Potassium, and other important nutrient useful for agricultural. Residents use the Komering tributary that flows through Pangkalan Gelebak Village in Banyuasin Regency for fish farming activities. Villagers tried to cultivate catfish and tilapia, but it did not work because they died. Water as a medium for fish farming activities is an important factor that must be considered. Water quality in waters can affect aquaculture activities and fish growth. The study was conducted to determine the water quality (physics and chemistry) in the Komering River tributary as a basis for the cultivation environment. The research was conducted in the Komering tributary of Pangkalan Gelebak Village, Banyuasin Regency,  in September, October, and November 2019. The sampling point is determined using a purposive sampling method in four sampling points. The temperature measurements range from 27-32.7ºC, depth 0.4-9 m, brightness 0.2-1.1 m, and turbidity 12.62-69.2 NTU. Only the depth of the four physical parameters is unsuitable for cultivation activities. During the dry season, the water depth between the riverbed and cage nets does not reach 1m. Chemical parameter measurement results; dissolved oxygen 1.7 – 7 mg/l, pH 6.5 – 7, alkalinity 34 - 46 mg/l CaCO3, nitrate 0.892 - 2.278 mg/l, nitrite 0.032 - 0.217 mg/l, ammonia 0.02-0.398 mg/ l and ortho-phosphate 0.054-0.283 mg/l. The value of nitrate, ammonia, and orthophosphate indicated high values so than unsuitable for fish farming activities. Agricultural activities around creeks and domestic waste disposal are causes of poor water quality.

Abstract The existence of macroepiphyte is one of the issues seaweed farmers often face. This research aims to explore the existence of macroepiphyte attached to seaweed Eucheuma denticulatum at varying depths using vertical net method. Research found that the highest and the lowest velocity of macroepiphyte on day -10 in the depth of 50 cm and 200 cm is 248,4 and 121,28 ind/m2/day. On day-20, in the depth of 100 cm and 200 cm is 333,54 and 270,01 ind/m2/day. The most dominating macroepiphyte in the attachment velocity is C. Crasa. Physical and chemical parameter showed around 29o-30oC. Current velocity 0,050-0,067 m/sec. Brightness 92%. Salinity 30-33‰. Nitrate 0,237-0,0416 mg/L. Phosphate 0,0015-0,0036 mg/L. Dissolved oxygen 5,7-6,2 mg/L. The obtained optimum environmental parameter and the type of the macroepiphyte attachment did not show any significant negative effect to the growth of E. denticulatum.

The present studies focused on the Physico-chemical parameter and Cyanophitic diversity of Ganga Sagar Lake, Jabalpur. The physicochemical parameters like temperature, water temperature, D.O., pH, free CO2, Total alkalinity, total hardness, calcium hardness, chloride, phosphate and nitrate were studied to analyze the Ganga Sagar Lake, Jabalpur. The study area selected was Cyanophitic diversity has been done with scientific name in this Lake. In these studies, an attempt has been made to identify the taxa of Cyanophyta in Pre-monsoon, monsoon, summer and Post monsoon from July 2017 to June 2019.

<span lang="EN-US">Nowadays, coffee is one of needs among metropolitan people. This lifestyle impact to increasing waste along coffee production, one of them is coffee ground. Coffee ground </span><span lang="EN-GB">has toxic properties to the environment such as caffeine, tannins, and polyphenols. While other chemicals contain on coffee ground are 2.28% nitrogen, 0.06% phosphorus, 0.6% potassium, which means has a good impact to the soil. Zooplankton are diverse in nature and they are found in almost all water bodies. The present study deals with the study of monthly changes of Zooplankton diversity and physico chemical parameters of Pampoo Pond of Madhupur, Jharkhand, India. Present study was carried out for a period of one-year from July 2019 to June 2020. Present study revealed 15 genera of Zooplankton from the fresh water pond belonging to the four groups namely Cladocera, Rotifera, Copepoda and Ostracoda. Among all four group maximum abundance of Cladocerans (34%) were observed. Five species of cladocerans, five species of copepods, three species of rotifers and two species of ostracods were observed. The population density order observed as cladocerans> copepods> rotifers> ostracods. Physico chemical parameters were analyzed as per methods described in APHA (1998) and was found under standard range. <p>Water quality plays a major role in issues related to public health and marine life. Hence, monitoring river for contaminations is vital for ensuring safe and sustainable water resources. Conventional method for assessing water quality index is costly as it requires considerable amount of time and laboratory resources. Therefore, this study proposes a water quality index model based on artificial neural network. A six-year data for Air Busuk River is obtained from the Department of Environment. Dissolved oxygen, biological oxygen demand, and ammoniacal nitrogen has shown high correlation with water quality index. The water quality index model is then developed based on these parameters, employing the non-linear autoregressive with exogeneous input structure. Generally, the model which is based on three chemical parameters has shown satisfactory performance with overall regression of 0.8767 and passed the correlation function tests. The model offers a potentially efficient method for assessing water quality with cost-saving benefits for government agencies and monitoring authorities.</p>

Sayung coast is a area with a growing residential, sea ranching, and industrial area. Those aspects produce create waste that could harm the environment, directly or indirectly. Plankton is a biologic component that is used to indicate the changes of water quality in waters that has been polluted. These goals of this research are to know the water quality in Sayung coast area from the abundance of the plankton,  physical-chemical parameter of the water, and also the status of water saprobity. The samples are taken in July 2017 and April 2018, in Sayung coast waters, Demak. Plankton sampling and water from 5 sampling stasions are considered to represent the diversity of the plankton and water stability. Plankton is sampled using plankton net No.25, then preserved using 70% alcohol + 4% formaldehyde. The abiotic data measureted is nitrate content, temperature, pH, salinity, DO, and turbidity. Data analysis are done using Shannon Weiner’s diversity index (H’), diversty index (e), domination index (C), saprobic index. The result shows that there are 49 species of planktons are found, which are 38 fitoplankton, and 11 zooplankton. The highest group is Bacillariophyta which is 14,24%. The diversty index value of H’ 1,58 – 2,45; therefore the Sayung coast waters is catagorized as stable. The index value of e ranges from 0,64 – 1; index C values ranges from 0,08 – 0,22; and the saprobirity index value is in β-Meso/Polisaprobik to α-Mesosaprobik phase with a very light to very high pollution levels. The physical-chemical parameter analysis of Sayung coast waters in overall is still suitable to support plankton’s life.

This investigation was undertaken to evaluate some physico-chemical parameter of water of the trans-boundary Haora River in Brahmanbaria during October 2018 to September 2019 from three different sites. The study revealed that air temperature at three different sites ranged 13 – 38 °C while the water temperature was 11 – 32 °C. Transparency of water varied from 18 – 55 cm Secchi depth and became more turbid during monsoon. The average values of pH and dissolved oxygen (DO) both in sites and seasons were within the standard limits for aquatic organisms. Total dissolved solids (TDS) were found between 77 and 352 mg/L and varied greatly in seasons. Electric conductivity (EC) was ranged 135 to 650 μS/cm. On the other hand, maximum and minimum hardness of water were recorded as 322 mg/L and 118 mg/L respectively and become lowest in monsoon. The rainy season bear high torrential water which brought huge amount of different types of garbage through the water flow from the Indian part. Most of the garbage are of floating and submerged type as plastic containers, bottles, polybags, cans, etc along with natural debris. During the study period highest (172 kg) and lowest (113 kg) plastic garbage were collected in May and July respectively. This foreign garbage may impair the normal healthiness of the river ecology.
