Learning is a conscious effort made by individuals to acquire various kinds of abilities (competencies), skills (skills), and attitudes (attitudes) through a series of learning processes that will ultimately result in behavioral changes in the individual. The learning process in schools tends to emphasize the achievement of changes in cognitive (intellectual) aspects which are carried out through various forms of approaches, strategies, and certain learning models. Learning systems that specifically develop affective abilities have received less attention, affective abilities are only used as a nurturing effect. This study aims to (1) find out whether online learning is able to bring out the affective abilities of prospective study program teachers (2) analyze the affective abilities of prospective teachers in online learning. The data used in this study is qualitative data. The technique used is a questionnaire. This questionnaire was given to respondents, namely students of PGSD teacher candidates at Muhammadiyah University of Pringsewu. The results of the study indicate that affective abilities can appear in online learning as evidenced by the results of the questionnaire that has been given to respondents. The indicators of affective ability in this study include attitudes, interests, self-concept, values, and morals, all of which are in the good range. This means that the results of students' affective abilities can be said to be valid or appear in online learning Keywords: Affective Ability; e-learning; PGSD Belajar merupakan upaya sadar yang dilakukan individu untuk memperoleh berbagai macam kemampuan (competencies), ketrampilan (skills), dan sikap (attitudes) melalui serangkaian proses belajar yang pada akhirnya akan menghasilkan perubahan tingkah laku pada individu tersebut.
Giant cell tumour (GCT) in adolescent is a rare tumour. It commonly occurs in skeletally mature patients aged between 20-40 years. In adults it is seen in epiphyseal region. In patients with intact physis, it arises from the metaphysis. Giant cells are more common in females. It is more common in the ends of long bones of distal end of femur, proximal tibia, and distal radius. 14 cases of surgical management of GCT by excision or curettage in adolescent followed by fibular strut graft. 1 year follow up of all cases of GCT in adolescent treated with excision or curettage followed by fibular strut graft was done. Out of 14 patients, 12 patients did not develop any recurrence of GCT. 2 patient developed recurrence after 6 months. All the patients were able to attain good range of movements 2 months after surgery. GCT in adolescent surgically treated with excision or curettage followed by fibular graft had excellent results in terms of recovery of daily activities, wound healing. Chances of recurrence more in patients treated with curettage and bone grafting.

A fast-growing field of research focuses on microbial biocontrol within the phyllosphere. Phyllosphere microorganisms possess biocontrol capacity with good range of adaptation to the phyllosphere environment and inhibit the expansion of microbial pathogens, thus sustaining plant health. These biocontrol factors are often categorized in direct, microbe-microbe, and indirect, host-microbe, interactions. This review gives an summary of the modes of action of microbial adaptation and biocontrol within the phyllosphere, the genetic basis of the mechanisms and samples of experiments which will detect these mechanisms in laboratory and field experiments. Detailed insights in such mechanisms are key for the rational design of novel microbial biocontrol strategies and increase crop protection and production. Such novel biocontrol strategies are much needed in today’s world to ensure sufficient food production to feed the growing world population.

Abstract Aim Total Hip Arthroplasty has been challenged with instability and dislocation (5%) and restricted movements. Risks are further increased in trauma and revision cases (7-14%). Dual Mobility (DM) prosthesis is one solution to these issues and has shown to reduce the rate of dislocation in multiple USA and France studies. Its uses remain limited in the UK due to unfamiliarity. DM implants contain a small femoral head mobile within a polyethylene liner which articulates with a supra-hemispheric metallic acetabular shell. Increased coverage of the shell reduces intra-prosthetic dislocation. The highly crosslinked polyethylene helps to reduce wear while the extra arc of motion improved range of movement. Our centre started using DM prosthesis since 2018 and this study demonstrates our outcomes. Method Retrospective study of all DM replacement from January 2018 – May 2020. Allowing a minimum follow up of 6 months. Data was collected from an electronic database. Results 54 cases were identified (35 elective cases and 19 trauma cases). 34 cases were revision surgery, and 21 cases were primary arthroplasty. The average age was 75, average length of surgery was 3 hours and average stay in hospital was 9 days. No dislocation was noted in this study. All patients reported good range of movement in follow ups with no complaints of instability. Conclusions DM prosthesis provides excellent outcomes with no dislocation and good patient reported satisfaction at our center. This result is supported by various systematic reviews. The reduction of complications is also economically advantageous. Use of Dual Mobility prosthesis should be encouraged in UK.
