A lot of researches have been done recently on Corporate Social Responsibliity ("CSR"). A lot of studies have been conducted to test how CSR affects firm value and financial perfromance. Results varies from one study to another. Some proved that the realtionship is to be positve, or negative and others proved it to be neutral. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effect of CSR on firm value and financial performance in Egypt through the application on 33 companies that were listed in the EGX30 in the year 2001, with a timeline of 8 years from 2007 till 2014. Data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the financial statements and annual reports of the egyptian companies and offical online websites. We proved that CSR has a insignifcant negative effect on firm value and a signifcant positive effect on firm’ financial perfromance in Egypt measured by Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on equity (ROE). This research paper is divided into five sections. Section one is the introduction followed by section two the literature review of CSR and its impact on firm value and financial performance. Section three covers the research methodology; section four presents data analysis and finally section five report findings and conclusions of the study.

This study was conducted to examine the effect of proxied ownership structure using institutional ownership, foreign ownership and managerial ownership variables which are moderated by the characteristics of the board of commissioners as proxied by the size of the board of commissioners, and the proportion of independent board of commissioners on company performance as measured by the firm's financial performance. Proxied by return on assets and return on equity and firm value proxied by Tobin's Q and market to book ratio. With a total of 81 samples from financial service companies listed on the IDX in 2018 tested using WarpPLS 7.0, the researchers found that ownership structure has a negative effect on financial performance and firm value, the characteristics of the board of commissioners have a positive effect on financial performance and firm value, and only interaction characteristics the board of commissioners in the relationship between ownership structure and financial performance which can be a moderating variable. This study aims to determine and analyze how much influence the bank's internal factors such as Equity, Operational Costs per Operating Income (BOPO), Financing Deposit to Ratio (FDR), Non Performing Financing (NPF) as a mediator and external or macroeconomic factors namely inflation and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on profitability represented by Return on Assets (ROA) at Bank Muamalat Indonesia for the period 2008-2018. The data used in this research are secondary data obtained from the publication of quarterly financial statements from 2008 to quarter 2 of 2018. The method that used in this research is path analysis with SPSS 20.0 as the analytical tool. The results of the study partially test the hypothesis (t-test), in substructure I shows that the capital variable has a significant negative effect on NPF, BOPO and inflation has a significant positive effect on NPF, FDR and GDP do not significantly influence NPF at Bank Muamalat Indonesia. In substructure II partially, Capital, BOPO, significant negative effect on ROA, FDR and NPF has a significant positive effect on ROA, Inflation and GDP does not significantly influence ROA while simultaneously significantly influencing ROA. Based on the sobel test, capital has a significant effect on ROA through NPF, BOPO has a significant effect on ROA through NPF, FDR has a significant effect on ROA through NPF, Inflation has a significant effect on ROA through NPF, while GDP has no significant effect on ROA through NPF.

This study attempts to investigate the effect of governance on firm value mediated by financial performance and risk of banking firms on the IDX. The sampling technique uses 46 saturated samples and data sources from the 2017-2020 financial statements so that the number of observations is 184. This study finds that bank governance can encourage an increase in firm value. Governance has a positive effect on ROA but has a negative effect on NPL. ROA has a positive effect on PBV and NPL has a negative effect on PBV. Governance has a positive and significant effect on PBV mediated by ROA and governance has a negative and significant effect on PBV mediated by NPL. Therefore, the role of ROA and NPL as partial mediation (partial mediation).

This study aimed to examine whether there are differences in the profitability of a company before and after winning TOP CSR. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the financial statements of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2008-2017. The sample of this study consisted of 17 companies using purposive sampling, ie companies that won TOP CSR from 2011-2017, companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and companies that had issued 3 years of financial statements after winning the CSR TOP. The variable used in this study is profitability which is proxied by Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE) and Net Profit Margin (NPM). Hypothesis testing is carried out by Paired Sample T-test using the IBM SPSS Version 20 software. Based on the tests carried out, it can be concluded that there are differences in profitability as seen from the ROA side, whereas when viewed from the ROE and NPM side it is not there are differences in profitability.

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of intellectual capital and income diversification on firm value mediated by profitability. This study uses secondary data from annual reports on banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2018. There are 30 banking samples in this study based on established criteria (purposive sampling). Data analysis using the WarpPLS 6.0 program. The results showed that intellectual capital had a positive effect on profitability and on firm value, income diversification had a negative effect on profitability, while it was found to have no effect on firm value, profitability had a positive effect on firm value, intellectual capital had an indirect effect on firm value mediated by profitabilit with partial mediation, while mediation is not supported by the indirect effect of Income Diversification on Firm Value.

The Purpose of this research is to describe profitability, corporate social responsibility and firm value and to know influence of profitability and corporate social responsibility to firm value at PT Jaya Konstruksi Manggala Pratama, Tbk listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research was using qualitative and quantitative desriptive analysis. The data collection was using documentation. The analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression, correlation coeffient, coefficient of determination, F test and t test.The result of the research are 1. The average of profitability (return on assets) tends to increase, the average of corporate social responsibility (NH Approach) tends to increase, and the average of firm value (price to book value) tends to incrase. 2. The results of multiple linier regression is known that profitability has a negative effect, while corporate social responsibility has a positive effect on the firm value. 3. The results of the analysis of the correlation coefficient and correlation of determination can be concluded that the relationship between profitability and corporate social responsibility to firm value is very high and only a few are influenced by other variables not explained in this study. 4. The results of testing hypotheses can be concluded that profitability has a significant negative effect and corporate social responsibility has a significant positive effect on firm value.As for suggestions from this research are important for the company to maintain the stability of return on assets, NH Approach and price to book valueKeywords: Profitability, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Firm Value

This aims of the study is determine the relationship between corporate social responsibility on corporate financial performance (empirical studies on PT. Citra Tubindo Tbk and PT. Sat Nusapersada Tbk in 2010-2014). The financial performance is measured by using a Return on Assets (ROA). This study uses a qualitative approach to data analysis using descriptive analysis and Scatterplott (scatter diagram). The data used are secondary data to analyze the data in the form of annual reports. The results of this study indicate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has variety relationship to the Return on Assets (ROA).

The objective of this research is to examine the effect of macroeconomic factors, financial performance and also systematic risk partially and simultaneously toward stock price. The macroeconomic factors are proxied by inflation and Bank Indonesia interest rate, company financial performance are proxied by Price Earning Ratio (PER), Earning per Share (EPS), Return on Asset (ROA), and Return on Equity (ROE), and also systematic risk is proxied by beta.  The object of this study are companies which have listed in Indeks LQ-45 in period 2007-2011. The samples are 11 companies determined based on purposive sampling. Data used in this study is secondary data such as financial statements, annual reports, inflation rate, Bank Indonesia interest rate, and stock price.  The results of this study are (1) macroeconomic factor proxied by inflation does not have partial significant effect to stock price (2) macroeconomic factor proxied by Bank Indonesia interest rate does not have partial significant effect to stock price (3) company financial performance proxied by Price Earning Ratio has partial significant effect to stock price (4) company financial performance proxied by Earning per Share has partial significant effect to stock price (5) company financial performance proxied by Return on Asset  does not have partial significant effect to stock price (6) company financial performance proxied by Return on Equity does not have partial significant effect to stock price (7) systematic risk proxied by Beta  does not have partial significant effect to stock price (8) macroeconomic factors,company financial performances, and systematic risk have simultaneous significant effect to stock price. This study aims to examine empirically the effect of Non Performing Financing (NPF) and Operational Efficiency Ratio (OER) on financial performance. Financial performance is measured using Return on Assets (ROA). The population used in this study is Islamic Commercial Banks registered with the Otoritas Jasa Keuangan. Sampling using purposive sampling method. Secondary data is in the form of annual financial reports published in 2016-2018. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that NPF has a negative effect on financial performance while OER has a positive effect on financial performance.
