Based on the new technology initiative in Serbian education, we explored primary school teachers? attitudes toward Computer Assisted Learning (CAL) in biology teaching, as well as the relationships between the teachers? attitudes and four independent variables: age, teaching experience, teachers? competence to use modern teaching aids and their professional advanced training in the field of computer applied learning. Fifty-four elementary school biology teachers from Novi Sad participated in the study. The findings suggested that the teachers generally had positive attitudes toward CAL in biology teaching. Correlation analyses revealed significant relationships between age, teaching experience, teachers? competence to use modern teaching aids in the teaching process, professional advanced training in the field of computer applied learning, and the teachers? attitudes toward CAL. We offer suggestions for further research in this field.

The paper analyzes the comparative effectiveness of Computer-Assisted Learning (CAL) and the traditional teaching method in biology on primary school pupils. A stratified random sample consisted of 214 pupils from two primary schools in Novi Sad. The pupils in the experimental group learned the biology content (Chordate) using CAL, whereas the pupils in the control group learned the same content using traditional teaching. The research design was the pretest-posttest equivalent groups design. All instruments (the pretest, the posttest and the retest) contained the questions belonging to three different cognitive domains: knowing, applying, and reasoning. Arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and standard error were analyzed using the software package SPSS 14.0, and t-test was used in order to establish the difference between the same statistical indicators. The analysis of results of the post?test and the retest showed that the pupils from the CAL group achieved significantly higher quantity and quality of knowledge in all three cognitive domains than the pupils from the traditional group. The results accomplished by the pupils from the CAL group suggest that individual CAL should be more present in biology teaching in primary schools, with the aim of raising the quality of biology education in pupils.

The purpose of this review paper is to explore and learn boundlessly about computer-assisted education, and its impact on students and their academic success. Computer-assisted learning provides academics with various teaching information and multimedia platforms for easy learning of students. It interprets the innovation of computer-assisted education and its success in today’s era. Computer-aided education signifies the integrated approach of the computer and its devices. Nevertheless, it does not mean online learning will eventually replace traditional education and teachers, rather teachers using computer-based platforms, and their applications to teaching, like smart classes, videos, and web tutoring with improved resources and reduced teacher workloads. By which, students can arrive, grasp, and engage themselves at their own pace in a co-relational environment. Moreover, in the situation of a pandemic like this, we all are choosing computer-assisted education. Therefore, without computer-facilitated education today, it would have been merely impossible for us to study, and attain education. The world has widely opened and accepted the new technology of computer-assisted education. This paper is done to distinguish the success of computer-assisted education

Introduction: Recently, there have been numerous innovations in the field of medical education. Teaching methodology is one of the areas that have received the most attention. The aim of this study was to assess the students’ perceptions of the effectiveness of different teaching methods, teaching aids and forms of evaluation at two faculties under Khesar Gyalpo University of Medical Sciences of Bhutan. Methods: This analytical cross-sectional study was conducted between 1st June and 31st July 2015 using a self-administered questionnaire in 150 first year and 148 final year students from the Faculty of Nursing and Public Health and Faculty of Traditional Medicine. Each participant completed a questionnaire containing items soliciting their opinions on teaching methods, teaching tools, and assessment methods. Results: Modern teaching methods are being practiced at the two faculties studied under KGUMSB. PowerPoint presentation and overhead projector were most preferred by both the groups. Also there was lack of exposure to computer-assisted learning in both the groups. Conclusions: We conclude that the teaching methodologies at KGUMSB are in line with current trends. However, this study also reveals that there is a need to institute robust strategies to encourage more computer-assisted learning.

UNSTRUCTURED The retrospective study of Taylor's three-dimensional external fixator for the treatment of tibiofibular fractures provides a theoretical basis for the application of this technology. The paper collected 28 patients with tibiofibular fractures from the Department of Orthopaedics in our hospital from March 2015 to June 2018. After the treatment, the follow-up evaluation of Taylor's three-dimensional external fixator for the treatment of tibiofibular fractures and concurrency the incidence of the disease, as well as the efficacy and occurrence of the internal fixation of the treatment of tibial fractures in our hospital. The results showed that Taylor's three-dimensional external fixator was superior to orthopaedics in the treatment of tibiofibular fractures in terms of efficacy and complications. To this end, the thesis research can be concluded as follows: Taylor three-dimensional external fixation in the treatment of tibiofibular fractures is more effective, and the incidence of occurrence is low, is a new technology for the treatment of tibiofibular fractures, it is worthy of clinical promotion.
