Depending on phase components and densification, Magnesia-Zircon brick varies in appearance from white to veined and then brown with increasing sintering temperature. Properties including bulk density, apparent porosity and hot modulus of rupture as well as performance embodied with creep resistance and refractoriness continue to improve with sustaining enhancement of sintering temperature. Exceptionally, cold crushing strength first increases then decreases with rising sintering temperature and a peak exists at 1550oC. Microstructural evolution suffers zircon decomposition companying by silica escape, forsterite formation, matrix solidification and zirconia coagulation, until a zirconia/forsterite composites belt tightly coating on magnesia aggregates. Excessive coagulation of zirconia caused by oversintering probably results in microcracks formation and defects enlargement thereby degrades cold crushing strength.

This article has been retracted. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to clarify the relationship between entrepreneurial cognition and innovative entrepreneurial activity (IEA) across countries using an institutional perspective. Design/methodology/approach The paper tests theoretical model using data collected by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, the Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness study and the Index of Economic Freedom (IEF). A multi-level analysis is performed based on set of 1,004,620 observations from 49 countries spanning 13 years (2001–2013). Findings The results suggest that in terms of formal regulations; the relationship between entrepreneurial cognitions and IEA becomes stronger when there is an increase in intellectual property right and business freedom regulations in a country. On the other hand, in terms of informal institutions the relationship between entrepreneurial cognitions and IEA becomes stronger when the level of institutional collectivism and uncertainty decreases and performance orientation increases. Originality/value The study indicates that entrepreneurship by innovation increases when the individuals possess high level of entrepreneurial cognition under suitable institutional conditions (e.g. intellectual property right, business freedom, institutional collectivism, uncertainty avoidance and performance orientation).

This article describes research and development on the automated creation of summaries of one or more texts. It defines the concept of summary and presents an overview of the principal approaches in summarization. It describes the design, implementation, and performance of various summarization systems. The stages of automated text summarization are topic identification, interpretation, and summary generation, each having its sub stages. Due to the challenges involved, multi-document summarization is much less developed than single-document summarization. This article reviews particular techniques used in several summarization systems. Finally, this article assesses the methods of evaluating summaries. This article reviews evaluation strategies, from previous evaluation studies, to the two-basic measures method. Summaries are so task and genre specific; therefore, no single measurement covers all cases of evaluation

This is a notice of retraction of the article: The evaluation of fish farming impact by nutrient content and chlorophyll A in Mala Lamljana bay, published in the Archives of Biological Sciences in 2013, Vol. 65, Issue 3. The Editor-in-Chief has been informed that the data in this article has already been published in the following article: Jelic Mrcelic G, Sliskovic M. The impact of fish cages on water quality in one fish farm in Croatia. Int Sci Index. 2010;4(8):775-8. Inspection of these articles has revealed the following: a significant part of the data in the article published in the Archives of Biological Sciences was published without proper cross-referencing to the data already published in the earlier paper. This issue was discussed with one of the two authors and it was mutually agreed to retract the article.

Link to the retracted article 10.2298/ABS1302567J

In this work, different composites (zircon-mullite, zirconia-mullite-zirconia, mullite-zirconia and alumina-zirconia-mullite) were developed by reactive sintering of a powder mixture of boehmite (AlOOH)) and zircon (ZrSiO)4. These powder mixtures were mixed and ground by ball milling and then pressed in cylindrical form. Finally, the green specimens were sintered in air during 2 hours between 1400?C and 1600?C, with a heating and cooling rate of 5?C/min. The dilatometric curves show that there are several microstructural transformations in these mixtures. X-rays diffraction spectra showed formation of several composites depending on the initial conditions (% of boehmite and zircon and sintering temperature). The micrographic observations of the samples confirmed the presence of various phases.

This article has been retracted. This is a notice of retraction of the article: Effect of 7-nitroindazole on superoxide production and MnSOD activity in the rat brain following kainate-induced neurotoxicity, published in the Archives of Biological Sciences in 2008, Vol. 60, Issue 1. The Editor-in-Chief has been informed that this paper plagiarizes an earlier paper: Radenovic L, Selakovic V, Kartelija G, Todorovic N, Nedeljkovic M. Differential effects of NMDA and AMPA/kainate receptor antagonists on superoxide production and MnSOD activity in rat brain following intrahippocampal injection. Brain Res Bull, 2004, 64(1):85-93. The results in the article being retracted were presented as findings obtained from novel research. Inspection of the results has revealed that they were part of research already presented in the original article without appropriate justification or cross-referencing. The Editor-in-Chief considered publishing a notice of redundancy specifying the elements published previously. However, since the original article had already been autoplagiarized by the same corresponding author in the same journal (retraction DOI:10.2298/ABS150318026E), the article is being retracted in accordance with the publishing ethics of the Archives of Biological Sciences in order to preserve the integrity of scientific research. We apologize to the journal's readers that it took so long to notice this error and instigate retraction of the paper. We request our readers to contact the editorial office and editors of the journal directly should similar cases occur in the future, so that the necessary action can be taken more promptly.

Link to the retracted article 10.2298/ABS0801025R
