Several organizations in recent decades have carried out regional geophysical studies by various methods within the North Caucasus. Along the Chegem profile (the Kitlod Pass – town of Budennovsk), for the first time to the north of the junction zone of the Greater Caucasus structures with the Scythian plate, two distinct subhorizontal seismic boundaries, probably sharing a platform cover, a transitional complex and a consolidated foundation have been obtained. The platform cover, represented by large Paleozoic deposits, by analogy with many areas of the world where unique oil deposits, including six hydrocarbon deposits, and the gas condensate Karmalinovskoye deposit in the zone of the Forward Ridge, have already been discovered and explored, may prove promising for oil and gas structures. The results of deep geophysical studies of recent years can correct the direction of hydrocarbon exploration in the region. The oil-and-gas-bearing structures of the sedimentary cover, known in this region of the Ciscaucasia to the east of the Chegem profile, are confined to uplifts in geophysics in the consolidated crust or to their marginal parts. This gives grounds to expect the presence of hydrocarbons, probably in the parent Paleozoic formations of the Chernoslavskaya depression, and also, respectively, new promising sites in the sedimentary cover along its framing.

The topicality of the article is determined by the insufficient reliability of geochemical oil and gas exploration data for the localization of petroliferous geological objects. Geochemical surveys are carried out to mapping hydrocarbon anomalies caused by vertical migration of fluid from hydrocarbon deposits. Practice shows that not all anomalies in the content of hydrocarbons in the near-surface environment are related to the oil-bearing capacity of a given subsoil area. Therefore, when interpreting the data of geochemical oil and gas prospecting surveys, it is necessary to take into account not only quantitative indicators (namely, content of hydrocarbon gases on the surface), but also the composition of the gas sorbed by the near-surface substrate. The purpose of the article is to determine the composition of the dissipated gases in the rocks of the upper part of the section, to reveal the inter-component relationships, and, on this basis, to determine the genesis of each gas component sorbed by the rocks of the upper part of the section. To solve this problem, statistical processing of data on the component content of gas from core degassing of shallow (up to 30 m) wells drilled in the petroliferous territory of the north of Western Siberia was carried out. The obtained results confirmed the genetic heterogeneity of dissipated hydrocarbons and inorganic gases in the upper part of the sedimentary cover.

Brief information about the intersections with deep geophysical studies of the large Caucasus structure is given and the results of the last years works along the Adygea profile (Dagomys-Abadzekhskaya-Giaginskaya), where for the first time with the even step of observations obtained the complex geophysical characteristic of the earths crust section into the cross of the entire structure of orogen. On the factual materials basis MWEDE, MTS and gravimagnetic surveys the separate elements of the structure of the large Caucasus are separated as the part of the Alpine collision belt, which obviously arose with the gently sloping thrust from the north of the scythian plate earths crust on the consolidated crust of the Transcaucasian micros-plates

Nadym-Pursk oil and gas region has been one of the main areas for the production of hydrocarbon raw materials since the sixties of the last century. A significant part of hydrocarbon deposits is at the final stage of field development. An increase in gas and oil production is possible subject to the discovery of new fields. The search for new hydrocarbon deposits must be carried out taking into account an integrated research approach, primarily the interpretation of seismic exploration, the creation of geological models of sedimentary basins, the study of geodynamic processes and thermobaric parameters. Statistical analysis of geological parameters of oil and gas bearing complexes revealed that the most promising direction of search are active zones — blocks with the maximum sedimentary section and accumulation rate. In these zones abnormal reservoir pressures and high reservoir temperatures are recorded. The Cretaceous oil and gas megacomplex is one of the main prospecting targets. New discovery of hydrocarbon deposits are associated with both additional exploration of old fields and the search for new prospects on the shelf of the north. An important area of geological exploration is the productive layer of the Lower-Berezovskaya subformation, in which gas deposits were discovered in unconventional reservoirs.

The geodynamic development of the north–western (Arctic) margin of the Siberian craton is comprehensively analyzed for the first time based on our database as well as on the analysis of published material, from Precambrian-Paleozoic and Mesozoic folded structures to the formation of the Mesozoic-Cenozoic Yenisei-Khatanga sedimentary basin. We identify the main stages of the region’s tectonic evolution related to collision and accretion processes, mainly subduction and rifting. It is demonstrated that the prototype of the Yenisei-Khatanga basin was a wide late Paleozoic foreland basin that extended from Southern Taimyr to the Tunguska syneclise and deepened towards Taimyr. The formation of the Yenisei-Khatanga basin, as well as of the West-Siberian basin, was due to continental rifting in the Permian-Triassic. The study describes the main oil and gas generating deposits of the basin, which are mainly Jurassic and Lower Cretaceous mudstones. It is shown that the Lower Cretaceous deposits contain 90% of known hydrocarbon reserves. These are mostly stacked reservoirs with gas, gas condensate and condensate with rims. The study also presents data on oil and gas reservoirs, plays and seals in the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous complexes.

The work provides data on the dynamics of the abundance of 205 taxa from 19 genera: Cleptes, Colpopyga, Elampus, Omalus, Philoctetes, Pseudomalus, Hedychridium, Hedychrum, Holopyga, Chrysidea, Chrysis, Euchroeus, Chrysura, Pseudochrysis, Spinolia, Spinolia, including species rare and new for the fauna of the North Caucasus and Russia. By the nature of the population dynamics, five groups of cuckoo wasps were identified: spring – represented by 7 species from 4 genera; spring-summer – 76 species from 10 genera; summer – 113 species from 16 genera; summer-autumn – 4 species from 2 genera and spring-summer-autumn – 5 species from 3 genus. According to the duration of flight, eurychronous species of cuckoo wasps were identified, which are found throughout the season from spring to autumn; mesochronous – the years of which affect the end of May and summer months and stenochronous – confined to a short period of time. Eurychronic accounted for 2.4%, mesochronous 24.9%, stenochronic 72.7%. The number of generations of cuckoo wasps is related to the dynamics of the number of the host. In the mountains, the peaks of activity shift towards the middle of summer, most species have one peak of activity; due to the frequent changes in weather conditions in the mountains, the phenological characteristics of the cuckoo wasps and their hosts do not coincide in terms with the lowland populations and the periods of activity can be extended in time. Phenological characteristics of rare and new species for the fauna of the North Caucasus and Russia are presented for the first time. The data obtained expand the understanding of the biodiversity and dynamics of the abundance of cuckoo wasps in the North Caucasus and can be used for environmental protection measures and rational nature management in the south of Russia.

Relevance of the work. The Western Siberian megabasin is the main source of oil and gas in Russia. Therefore, the study of geological structure and evolution of the development of sedimentary cover rock complexes and the basement of the region is important for estimating the oil and gas potential of this vast territory. The object of this paperis the mineralogical and petro-geochemical study of volcanites from the pre-Jurassic basement of the Lakyuganskaya area (well no. 101) of the Longyugansk exploration acreage within the territory of the Nadym megadepression of the Western Siberian megabasin. Scope of work. This work can be useful when constructing geological maps of the basement of the northern part of the Western Siberian Plate. Results and conclusions. We have studied and described the mineralogy of strongly altered volcanites from the pre-Jurassic basement of the Lakyugansk area (well no. 101) of the Western Siberian Plate. According to chemical composition, the studied volcanites are classified as moderate and high potassic basalts, andesite-basalts and andesites. The rocks were subjected to significant secondary changes in the mineral composition, such as greenschist metamorphism and propylitization. Only titanomagnetite has been preserved from primary minerals in volcanites; all other minerals were subjected to changes. In general, we have determined the following minerals – albite, clinochlore, titanite, calcite, goethite, titanomagnetite (magnetite, ulvospinel), fluorapatite, and rutile. For the first time, ferroaluminoceladonite (dioctahedral mica) and three relatively rare secondary copper sulfides – spionkopite, yarrowite, and geerite – were identified and described in basalts from the basement of Western Siberia. Sulfide coppery mineralization in the studied basalts was due to overlapped propylization processes. The rocks have features of volcanites of island arcs, as well as evidence of calc-alkali and intraplate basalts. The petrological and geochemical characteristics of the studied volcanites are similar to basalts composing the Koltogorsko-Urengoysky rift of the Western Siberian Plate.

At the present stage, the development of the oil industry of the Russian Federation is impossible without replenishing the resource base, and therefore an urgent task is to analyze and assess the conditions and characteristics of oil-andgas content in unexplored regions.Purpose of the study is an analysis and an assessment of reservoir properties of rocks of the Aptian horizon Р1+2- К2 within the Akhlovskaya structure. We analyzed the graphs of the distribution of indicators in wells R-212 and R-213 in the Akhlovsky area and concluded that the reservoir is heterogeneous, and there are interlayers of mudstones with other reservoir properties and geophysical characteristics. The following pairs of parameters (porosity coefficient and oil-saturated thickness of rocks, rock resistivity and porosity coefficient, rock resistivity and oil-saturated thickness of rocks) have a significant positive correlation. Having studied the distribution of indicators in the Akhlovsky area for wells R-212 and R-213 along one horizon, we concluded that these indicators differ very slightly, which indicates the homogeneity of the reservoir properties. Qualitative indicators Qualitative indicators don't change. Thus, we can expect similar indicators within the entire area of the explored layer Р1+2- К2 in the territory of the Akhlovsky area.

The objective of our research was to analyze the efficiency of identification of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) for 2 regions: ITS1 and ITS2 regions of AMF DNA isolated from the soils of the North Caucasus (Karachay-Cherkessia). For the first time the necessity of different AMF species identification using both ITS regions was revealed, but not one region. The research demonstrated: 1) the set of taxa is different using ITS1- and ITS2-based identification; 2) analysis of the ITS1 region reveals a greater number of operational taxonomic units; 3) ITS2 allows identification of AMF at the species level more often. Sample preparation for Illumina MiSeq analysis was optimized. Obligatory stages in the sample preparation were the purification of DNA in the agarose gel in Silica after isolation, as well as separate amplification of ITS1 and ITS2 followed by combining and joint sequencing for each sample. The results showed the highest AMF biodiversity for the 176Te sample from the ecosystem of the subalpine meadow of the southeastern slope of Malaya Hatipara mountain (43°25′48.0″N 41°42′31.0″E; 2401 m above sea level), in which 8 species of AMF were identified (Archaeospora spainiae, Claroideoglomus claroideum, Diversispora versiformis, Entrophpora infrequens, Funneliformis mosseae, Glomus indicum, Paraglomus laccatum, Rhizophagus irregularis).
