A comprehensive analysis of conditions and features of oil-and-gas content within the Akhlovskaya structural zone (the North Caucasus)

At the present stage, the development of the oil industry of the Russian Federation is impossible without replenishing the resource base, and therefore an urgent task is to analyze and assess the conditions and characteristics of oil-andgas content in unexplored regions.Purpose of the study is an analysis and an assessment of reservoir properties of rocks of the Aptian horizon Р1+2- К2 within the Akhlovskaya structure.We analyzed the graphs of the distribution of indicators in wells R-212 and R-213 in the Akhlovsky area and concluded that the reservoir is heterogeneous, and there are interlayers of mudstones with other reservoir properties and geophysical characteristics. The following pairs of parameters (porosity coefficient and oil-saturated thickness of rocks, rock resistivity and porosity coefficient, rock resistivity and oil-saturated thickness of rocks) have a significant positive correlation. Having studied the distribution of indicators in the Akhlovsky area for wells R-212 and R-213 along one horizon, we concluded that these indicators differ very slightly, which indicates the homogeneity of the reservoir properties. Qualitative indicators Qualitative indicators don't change. Thus, we can expect similar indicators within the entire area of the explored layer Р1+2- К2 in the territory of the Akhlovsky area.

Актуальность этих вопросов не вызывает сомнения применительно к месторождениям Северного Кавказа. Особенные геологическиеусловия присущие продуктивным пластам Чеченской республики (большая глубина залегания, высокая температура и давление, неоднородность коллекторских свойств и т.д.) затрудняют или полностью исключают возможность применения известных методов физико-химического воздействия на пласты с целью интенсификации отборов нефти и повышения нефтеотдачи. The special geological conditions inherent in the productive formations of the Chechen Republic (large depth, high temperature and pressure, heterogeneity of reservoir properties, etc.) make it difficult or completely exclude the possibility of using known methods of physicochemical treatment of formations in order to intensify oil production and increase oil recovery. The relevance of the study is determined by the significance of the accumulation of everything positive from the historical experience of implementing national projects, including the formation of the country’s oil and gas complex. On the basis of archival documents, issues related to the evolution of state policy in the field of searching for new oil fields in the Ural-Volga region on the eve and during the Great Patriotic War are considered. The novelty of the study is determined not only by the introduction of previously unpublished documents into scientific circulation, but also by an attempt to analyze the ongoing discussions about the prospects of this oil region, very contradictory decisions of the government in this regard. Attention is focused on such a miscalculation of the Soviet government in the pre-war period as a stake on the development of oil production, primarily in Azerbaijan and the North Caucasus. It has been proven that as a result, the oil workers of the Second Baku felt a lack of funds, equipment, and qualified personnel. It is concluded that as a result, only the first half of 1944 was marked by the largest event in the oil industry of our country: scientists confirmed the assumptions that there are multilayer oil fields in the area between the Volga and the Urals. The authors of the article argue that the discovery of new deposits was of strategic importance for the industrialization of the country, and later for the supply of oil products to the rear and front. It is emphasized that the development of the Devonian deposits of the Ural-Volga region, which began in 1944, became the basis for a sharp increase in oil production in this region.

In this paper, we consider fields that are in close proximity to each other, but have. fundamentally different geological structure and criteria for the oil and gas content of rocks that form the top of the pre-Jurassic complex.

According to the previously developed typology of Russian regions by the criteria of population quality, the regions were divided into ten groups. A detailed analysis of each group allows determining possible ways to improve the quality of the population in the Russian regions. This article begins to present the cycle of such studies with the analysis of three smallest groups: the first group includes Moscow and St. Petersburg, the second — the Republic of Dagestan, the Republic of Ingushetia, the Chechen Republic, the third — Nenets, Khanty-Mansi, Yamalo-Nenets autonomous okrugs and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The first group of regions is the most prosperous in terms of quality characteristics of the population, here the main problem is the low natural growth of the population. The specificity of the North Caucasus republics in this aspect lies in high indicators of population quality with low material living standards that contradicts the previously statistically confirmed hypothesis of strong impact of quality of life on population quality. The conclusion has been made about high importance of national culture and traditions in these regions. At the same time, comparison of these republics among themselves has shown that traditions in some of them are weakening, and more attention should be paid to economic factors — monetary income, poverty and unemployment rates. These problems in the North Caucasus regions are in line with the theory of multilevel economy, and their solution requires restructuring of the economy on the basis of its technological and technical re-equipment. In the third group, on the contrary, high monetary income is accompanied by poor qualitative characteristics of the population, especially by rates of alcoholism and drug addiction. These phenomena are correlated with the level of unemployment, the growth of which is caused not only by the global crisis processes in the development of the oil and gas sector, but also by the depletion of highly profitable deposits in the Northern regions of the country, the need to develop hard-to-reach and hardly removable sources of oil and gas. The solution may be to change the structure of the economy of these regions in the direction of development of the natural raw materials processing sector.

Sheep fascioliasis occurs with an extent of invasion in the range of 23-38% with an intensity of invasion of 1-48 specimens per animal in the regions of the North Caucasus. The most infested places with trematodes were pastures (84.0% of contaminated soil samples), and small pastures near natural water bodies (73.5% of contaminated soil samples), forest-shrub forb pastures located along the continuation of wind-sheltered forest belts (60.0% of soil samples). Researchers have found that the least contaminated with Fasciola hepatica eggs are herb meadow pastures (35.0% of soil samples) and cultivated pastures made from a mixture of Sudanese grass and clover (12.0% of contaminated soil samples). In samples per 1 g of soil, eggs of trematodes were found on average 113.2±6.0 specimens, that is, 2.4 times more than in feces (on average, 47.3±3.4 specimens per 1 g feces), which indicates the accumulation of viable eggs in biotopes. In this regard, the development of new complex anthelmintic preparation for the treatment and prevention of fascioliasis in sheep remains an urgent task. The authors' research consisted in testing a new complex anthelmintic drug Unifascide for sheep fascioliasis. Experimental tests of the Unifascide preparation for fascioliasis of sheep were carried out on 30 heads using the group method. Experimental and control animals (n = 30) weighing 32-36 kg were divided into 3 groups according to the principle of analogs, 10 animals per a group. Due to the results the degree of extension efficiency was 90.0 and intensity efficiency was 92.5%. The preparation is recommended for implementation in the practice of therapeutic and prophylactic deworming for chronic fascioliasis of sheep.

Summary The resource base of the north of the West Siberian oil and gas province is the basis of Russia's energy strategy. Among the northern territories of the province, the Nadym-Purskaya, Pur-Tazovskaya and Yamal oil and gas regions (OGRs) are the leaders in terms of estimated gas reserves (Figure 1). However, the largest deposits of the first two OGRs are in the stage of falling production. Therefore, the main prospects should be associated with the Yamal OGR, which has not yet been put into active operation. It is logical that along with the development of traditional methods of extraction of "dry" natural gas, the government of the Russian Federation has approved a plan for the production of liquefied natural gas based on the fields of the Yamal Peninsula, which is currently being actively implemented by PJSC "NOVATEK". The article presents data from an analysis of the distribution of the filtration–capacity properties of the Vendian–Cambrian productive horizons in the western part of the North Aldan oil and gas region. The porosity maps of the Aspen and Yuryakh horizons were constructed. Areas have been identified where, by their reservoir properties, productive horizons may be of oil and gas geological interest.

The results of the lithological study of the Silurian sediments drilled in by wells within the Ledyansk uplift in the north of the Siberian platform are presented. It is found that in the early Silurian time on the territory under consideration a large organogenic buildup corresponding to typical Silurian reefs of a stable shelf was formed, the formation stage of its framework was confined to Wenlock. In Late Silurian, against the background of regression, the reef formations were overlain by lagoon-sebkha clayey-evaporite deposits. It is shown that the heterogeneity of the section affected the distribution of reservoir properties. The high primary porosity of the reef framework contributed to the processes of dissolution, stylolization, fracturing and formation of a high-capacity reservoir. The combination of various voids led to the development of a complex reservoir. The saline-sulfate rocks of the Upper Silurian – Lower Devonian act as a seal. The question of the prospects for the oil and gas potential of the Silurian reef deposits is of particular relevance in view of the wholesale development of organogenic buildups on the Siberian platform in the Wenlock time.

On the Kara Sea shelf, there are two sedimentary basins separated by the North-Siberian sill. Tectonically the southern part of the Kara Sea covers the South Kara regional depression, which is the northern end of the West Siberian geosyncline. This part of the water area is identified as part of the South Kara oil and gas region, within which the Aptian-Albian-Senomanian sedimentary complex is of greatest interest in terms of gas content, in terms of liquid hydrocarbons - Neocomian and Jurassic deposits. The northern part of the Kara Sea is an independent North Kara province, for the most part of which the prospects of petroleum potential are associated with Paleozoic sedimentary complexes. Oil and gas perspective objects of this basin may be associated with anticlinal, non-structural traps and reef structures.
