Aim. Analysis of the results of parents' assessment of the conditions of US diagnostics of children. Materials and Methods. Assessment of the conditions for receiving ultrasound examination, based on the results of a questionnaire survey of 424 parents of children who underwent this medical service at the National Medical Research Center of Children's Health of the Ministry of Health of Russia, is presented. Mathematical processing of the obtained data was carried out using the methods of variation statistics and correlation analysis. Results. 83.5% of parents surveyed were satisfied with the ultrasound diagnostic services provided to their children, 12.3% – were satisfied only partially. According to respondents’ opinions, the main reasons for dissatisfaction were insufficient qualification of specialist and low quality of the equipment used. The majority of individuals participating in the survey, considered waiting for ultrasound not long, in 77.6% of cases it was carried out within 1-2 days after the appointment. Ultrasonography in an outpatient clinic and in a hospital was mainly carried out free of charge, as part of compulsory medical insurance – in 86.1 and 87.5% of cases, respectively. Only 14.3% of respondents noted that they had the financial ability to pay for examination of the child from personal funds. It was found that 12.7% of parents had to refuse, for this or that rea-son, from the proposed ultrasound methods of examination of the child. Conclusion. The vast majority of the parents surveyed were satisfied with the ultrasound diagnostics services provided to their child. The main reasons for refusing from ultrasound were a sharply negative reaction of the child, as well as the opinion about the possible harm of the examination and the expected pain from the procedure.

Malignant trophoblastic tumors (TO) include invasive and metastatic cystic drift, choriocarcinoma, TO of the placental bed, and epithelioid TO. They are rare, mainly in women of reproductive age, and most importantly, they are always associated with pregnancy. To date, the Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology has accumulated a large and unique experience of modern diagnostics and treatment of patients with various forms of malignant TO. An obligatory stage of the examination is ultrasound diagnostics of the pelvic organs. In addition, performing an ultrasound examination during the treatment period, along with monitoring the level of chorionic gonadotropin, makes it possible to assess the effectiveness of treatment, diagnose tumor resistance and ascertain the onset of remission.

Environmental health is referring to the health of people in relation to environmental quality. Due to rapid urbanisation, more people are living in urban neighbourhoods. Urban planning and design aspects including the neighbourhood environment are potentially affecting the human healthy lifestyle and health condition. Thus, the relationship between Malaysian neighbourhood environmental aspects and human health has become the concern of this research. One of the neighbourhood units in Shah Alam city had been chosen as the study area for this purpose. Questionnaire survey had been carried out to examine the health condition and physical activeness of residents. Besides, the perception of residents on the quality of neighbourhood environmental aspects also had been collected in the questionnaire survey. The health condition of residents was measured by non-communicable diseases (NCD) and the physical activeness was measured in duration as well as the frequency of physical exercise activities. The study found that the quality of neighbourhood environmental aspects significantly increased the physical activeness of respondents. The physical activeness was positively associated with human health as measured in NCD (heart diseases and high blood pressure, HBP). It shows that neighbourhood environmental (physical and social) aspects are potentially affecting the healthy life of people living in the neighbourhood. Keywords: Healthy life, Neighbourhood environment, Non-communicable diseases (NCD), Physical activeness, Quality.

Relevance. Endometriosis is a common gynecological disease that affects up to 10% of women of reproductive age worldwide and is the main cause of pain and infertility. Endometriosis is a disease, although it has been known for a long time, nevertheless, in many ways it represents terra incognita for modern medicine. Aim. Analysis of literature on the feasibility of long-term and the use of the drug dienogest 2 mg (Vizanne), which has a positive effect on the quality of life of patients with endometriosis. Materials and methods. To write this review, a search was made for domestic and foreign publications in Russian and international search engines (PubMed, eLibrary, etc.) over the past 13 years. The review included articles from peer-reviewed literature. Results. The review presents data on the difficulties of verifying the diagnosis of endometriosis due to a combination of this pathology with pain, infertility, abnormal uterine bleeding. The pathogenesis of the origin of endometriosis-associated pain is presented. The efficacy of the use of the drug dienogest (Vizanne), which has a powerful antiproliferative effect that reduces the main symptoms of endometriosis (pain, bleeding), is substantiated. The expediency of long-term and safe use of the drug dienogest (Vizanne), which has a positive effect on the quality of life of patients with endometriosis, has been proved. Conclusions. Numerous scientific publications confirm the feasibility of prolonged use of the drug dienogest (Vizanne), to achieve remission during endometriosis.

Purpose: To analyze the results of treatment and the quality of medical care for breast cancer patients with breast reconstruction using thoracodorsal flap (TDF). Material and methods: The study was conducted on the basis of the N.N. Petrov National Medical Research Center of Oncology at the Department of Breast Tumors for the period 2016-2017. When using the reconstruction of the breast with the help of TDF the feature was the complete intersection of the muscle in the anterior-axillary line before closing the defect of the breast tissue but with the preservation of the thoracodorsal vascular sheaf. Surgical treatment was provided to 67 patients with breast cancer including after neoadjuvant therapy. Results: One-time reconstruction was performed in 16 (23.8%) patients under the organ-preserving surgery, mastectomy in two (2.9%) patients and mastectomy with implant placement in 27 (40.2%) patients. Delayed reconstruction of the breast: TDF in combination with the implant - 20 (29.8%), the use of TDF without an implant - 2 (2.9%) patients. Complications were observed in 6 (8.9%) patients. Conclusion: Reconstruction of the breast with TDF is the method of choice and priority for patients who underwent radiation therapy with a lack of integumentary tissues to cover the implant. TDF is a «good» plastic material and could be used in patients with severe defect of breast shape after organ-preserving surgery and mastectomy. TDF is characterized by a low incidence of complications. The use of TDF does not worsen the rehabilitation of patients and does not shift the timing of adjuvant treatment.

Abstract Background Mental disorders in patients with cardiovascular disease have a significant impact on the course, the prognosis of the underlying disease and quality of life (QOL). Objective We aimed to examine the prevalence of anxiety and depressive disorders and their impact on the quality of life in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Materials and methods In 52 with permanent AF and 50 with paroxysmal AF patients, we administered the depression scale Tsung, the scale of situational anxiety (SA) and personal anxiety (PA) Spielberger-Hanin; QOL was assessed the SF-36 quality of life assessment scale. Correlation analysis using Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. Results The prevalence symptoms mild depression situational or neurotic genesis was 21.1% (12 patients) in Group 1 and 12.0% (6 patients) in Group 2 (p>0.05). Subdepressive state was two percents of patients in Group 1 and Group 2. The incidence SA was 59.6% (31 patients) in Group 1 and 52.0% (26 patients) in Group 2. The incidence PA was 74.0% (37 patients) in Group 2 and 67.3% (35 patients) in Group 1. The average score the physical component of health (PCH) was 29,8±4,3 in Group 1, the mental component of health (MCH) – 49.5±7.4 points; p<0.05. In Group 2: PCH – 44.8±6.6 points, MCH – 26.6±7.5 points; p<0.05. Correlation analysis showed negative strong correlations between SA and MCH (r=−0.64, p=0.0005) and between PA and MCH (r=−0.69, p<0.0001), between SA and PCH (r=−0.71, p=0.0001), between depression and PCH (r=−0.69, p=0.023). Negative statistically significant correlation between depression and MCH (r=−0.69, p=0.54) and negative medium correlation between depression and PCH (r=−0.64, p=0.23). Conclusion These findings suggest that we did not identify patients with symptoms of a true depressive (that can cause pseudodementia and influenced to complete tests). 16.5% patients with AF had mild depression of situational or neurotic genesis. Depression may be a pathogenetic factor of AF or develop because of paroxysms AF – psychological stress. More than 50% patients in Group 1 and Group 2 had an increased anxiety score. SA is more common in patients with permanent AF, probably because older people difficult to adapt to a new situation. PA is more common in patient with paroxysmal AF, probably because disease is sudden and causes anxiety. The PCH of QOL is more impairment in patients with permanent AF, because complications (for example heart failure) impairment physical activity. However, PCH also reduced in patient with paroxysmal AF, because disease is sudden may occur during physical activity. The MCH of QOL is more impairment in patients with paroxysmal AF, because waiting attack effect on mental health and social functioning. An increased level of anxiety and depression negatively affected the mental and physical health of patients with AF. Funding Acknowledgement Type of funding source: None
