This research aims to find the impact of village fund (dana desa) programs on social capital and political participation in the Village or rural area in Indonesia. This is a case study research, located in Sumber Jaya Village (Desa Sumber Jaya), Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province. We also used a quantitative well-informed person assessment research method, a method that assesses the issue of research by asking the stakeholders who have good information about the research topic. There were 33 research respondents who were subsequently asked through questionnaires. The results show that there is still a high tradition of gotong royong, and guyub culture in Sumber Jaya Village, however, when we asked them whether the influence of village funds on social capital and political participation, generally respondents think that there was an influence as seen by the trend of declining scores when we asked by combining the variable of village funds, together with social capital and political participation. Regarding this result, our policy recommendation for future village fund policy based on the game theory model is that government should spend more on social safety net programs or universal basic income in the form of private goods rather than infrastructure spending in the form of public goods.

Industrialization in Indonesia has decreased since the economic crisis in 1998, it's just that this decline does not mean that Indonesia does not have the capital to invest in domestic industries, but rather attacks domestically produced goods. From the above statement and added to our observations conducted in Banjaran Village, then we made a research entitled "The Impact of Industrialization on Education, Economy and Religion in the Village of Banjaran, Kec. Sumber Jaya Kec. Majalengka. This research uses a case study research method or as an exploration of related systems (bounded systems) or cases. The data sources used are primary and secondary data from the research we found, as well as data collection instruments such as documentation and interviews with aimed at. There are three aspects we examined, namely aspects of education, religion and economic aspects. Educational aspects, namely the learning model, learning methods and the use of the school library. Meanwhile, from the religious aspect, namely, the lack of regeneration in building to enliven the mosque is very minimal, as well as the religious aspect of the lack of insight in entrepreneurship. So this research adds to the experience where, reactivates reading media (libraries), reactivates and enlivens religious activities and opens the potential for entrepreneurship so that many ideas for entrepreneurship are created.

The growth of the randomized controlled trial (RCT) as the “gold standard” for evaluation has justly been praised as an advance in the professionalization of social programs and projects, an “adoption of science” - in the words of the Lancet. None the less, the emphasis on the RCT biases funding for projects that distribute private goods and which focus on “low hanging fruit” in health, nutrition, and sanitation, simply because those areas lend themselves to the sort of measurement that works with RCTs. As a result, many project developers in the government and NGO sectors lament that a hegemonic focus on RCTs impedes creativity or new models that challenge traditional paradigms. This case study of CanalCanoa, a community video coaching project for indigenous parents of young children in the Rio Negro region of the Amazon Basin, offers techniques to measure for innovation. Instead of developing a new RCT for an extremely diverse population (27 ethnic groups) where traditional childcare methods are in historical flux because of urbanization, CanalCanoa measured variables shown by previous RCTs to be causally connected with positive development results. By researching the impact of the intervention on nutrition, language (multilingualism, use of traditional songs and stories), and social network expansion, CanalCanoa measured upstream indicators, thus mixing scientific rigor with an opportunity for innovation and providing important insight and reform of a theory of change.

The results shows that there are changes of social capital of dairy farmers groups in the process of institutionalization of SAMESTA cooperatives. The change is the impact of the conditions of Indonesian dairy. These changes occur in several elements of social capital, as follows: (1) Value, as a guide and reinforcement of farmers’ positive behavior. The existing values among farmers are klangenan (like), titen (scrutinize deeply), honesty, and togetherness. These values become the fuel that forces the farmers to relate each other and realize the more transparent and fairer cooperative. This case shows the influence of cultural values on the farmers’ economic behavior. They calculate inputs and outputs, and make some adjustments to prevent them from losing and calculate the standard number of cows that they have. (2) Trust changes positively, especially by raising the milk price from farmers, although it gives a risk to the cooperative income. This decision is expected to increase the farmers' ethos, thus impacts on the increase of milk production. (3) Networks, in which the relationship between farmers firstly occurs in hamlet area, then it extends the network beyond those limits. Farmers from different villages are connected naturally. This inter-subject's relationship occurs due to the same goals, which are wishes to be more dignified, prosperous, and get fair treatment.

The central point of this paper is to present the results of comparative case study research concerning the impact of the interplay between formal and informal institutions in the corporate governance systems (CGS) of Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC). Particular focus was put on the values of the corporate governance codes (CGC) of CEECs, as well as on transparent ownership structures, transactions with related parties, the protection of minority shareholders, independent members of supervisory boards, and separation between the CEO position and the chairman of the board of directors. The main subject of interest concerns two research areas: the character of the relationship between formal and informal institutions, as well as whether the interplay between them is relevant to the CGSs of CEECs. Moreover, the author investigates whether the CGCs of CEECs consist of regulations that are compatible with the values set up in preambles using research methods such as individual case study or deductive reasoning. The conclusion presented in the paper was drawn on the basis of a review of the literature and research on national and European corporate governance regulations, as well as the CGC of CEECs. The primary contribution this article makes is to advance the stream of research beyond any single country setting, and to link the literature on the interplay between formal and informal institutions related to CGSs in a broad range of economies in transition (‘catch up’ countries) like CEECs. This paper provides an understanding of how the interplay between formal and informal institutions may influence the CGCs of CEECs.
