Industrialization in Indonesia has decreased since the economic crisis in 1998, it's just that this decline does not mean that Indonesia does not have the capital to invest in domestic industries, but rather attacks domestically produced goods. From the above statement and added to our observations conducted in Banjaran Village, then we made a research entitled "The Impact of Industrialization on Education, Economy and Religion in the Village of Banjaran, Kec. Sumber Jaya Kec. Majalengka. This research uses a case study research method or as an exploration of related systems (bounded systems) or cases. The data sources used are primary and secondary data from the research we found, as well as data collection instruments such as documentation and interviews with aimed at. There are three aspects we examined, namely aspects of education, religion and economic aspects. Educational aspects, namely the learning model, learning methods and the use of the school library. Meanwhile, from the religious aspect, namely, the lack of regeneration in building to enliven the mosque is very minimal, as well as the religious aspect of the lack of insight in entrepreneurship. Vietnamese communal temples (đình làng) were primarily established with two functions: (1) as a state-patronised institution to organise and control the village politically and culturally and (2) as a place of worship of village deities and meritorious predecessors. Both functions interact and complement each other – in many cases, the second serves as both a “means” and “technique” to deploy the first. However, nowadays the administrative role is no longer available; instead, the spiritual aspects are on the rise as a response to the increasing interaction of Buddhism, Caodaism, and folk beliefs as well as the impact of economic development and urban migration. Village elders learn to organise the temple into a communal socio-cultural institution, whereby cross-village temples have formed a cultural nexus of “power”. This study finds that while several transformed into the form of “temple of heroes”, Tân Chánh temple has been mobilised and transformed into a civic “religious and socio-cultural centre” at the grassroots level. The socio-economic background of the area has caused such transformation. While the practical demand for communication and emotional exchanges among village members vividly ensures the continuity of the temple’s tradition, the loss of direct state control paves the way for its transformation. Both continuity and transformation govern the current religious activities of Tân Chánh temple but there is always a challenge to compromise and integrate these two directions. However, the remaining function of god worship by which rituals are performed as “cultural agents” still binds the villagers together and gives them access to crossing boundaries.

Managing the liquidity position to enhance performance in an organization is imperative. This study examines the impact of liquidity management on the profitability of some selected food and beverage firms in Nigeria. This study adopted a case study research design. Secondary data was used to collect information from the annual reports of the selected firms from 2014 to 2018. Data was analyzed using multiple regression and Correlation analyses. The results of this study shows that current ratio; current assets/total assets ratio and working capital ratio have no .impact on the return on capital employed based on the p-values >0.01 level of significant. This study concludes that changes in the liquidity position exert no positive significant changes in the profitability of the selected firms. Thus, liquidity management has no impact on the profitability of firms in Nigeria. This study recommends that the management of firms in Nigeria and other countries should try to shorten the periods of converting accounts receivables and inventories to cash to improve liquidity. This research aims to find the impact of village fund (dana desa) programs on social capital and political participation in the Village or rural area in Indonesia. This is a case study research, located in Sumber Jaya Village (Desa Sumber Jaya), Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province. We also used a quantitative well-informed person assessment research method, a method that assesses the issue of research by asking the stakeholders who have good information about the research topic. There were 33 research respondents who were subsequently asked through questionnaires. The results show that there is still a high tradition of gotong royong, and guyub culture in Sumber Jaya Village, however, when we asked them whether the influence of village funds on social capital and political participation, generally respondents think that there was an influence as seen by the trend of declining scores when we asked by combining the variable of village funds, together with social capital and political participation. Regarding this result, our policy recommendation for future village fund policy based on the game theory model is that government should spend more on social safety net programs or universal basic income in the form of private goods rather than infrastructure spending in the form of public goods.

ObjectivesAlthough different forms of patient feedback are available, their use in hospital management is still limited. The objective of this study is to explore how patient feedback is currently used in hospitals to improve quality.DesignThis is a qualitative exploratory multiple case study. Data collection included nine interviews, of an average duration of 50 min, conducted between March and June 2019. Additionally, a document and secondary data analysis were performed.SettingThis study was conducted in three Brazilian hospitals selected for their solid patient feedback practises.ParticipantsManagers from the customer service, quality, nursing, operations, projects and patient experience departments of the three hospitals.ResultsDespite literature suggesting that organisational objectives regarding patient feedback are not clear, data show that there is managerial concern regarding the promotion of an environment capable of changing according to patient feedback. In these instances, organisational processes were structured to focus on patients’ feedback and its receipt by the staff, including a non-punitive culture. Several patient feedback forms are available: voluntary events, patient surveys and informal feedback. Instruments to measure patient feedback focused on specific aspects of healthcare, to identify and clarify the problems for addressal by the management. The net promoter score was the main strategic indicator of patient feedback, used to assess the impact of improvement action.ConclusionsThe hospitals had established objectives that valued the patient’s perspective. Involvement of the health team, availability of different channels for feedback and the use of quality tools are considered a good basis for using patient feedback to drive quality improvement.

In a social movement study, countermovement emerges when certain movement is considered to bring threat to the status quo or the current political and social condition. Social movement seeks for changing the existing situation while the countermovement pursues to keep it. As a result, the conflict between two becomes inevitable, where both will compete to win over the other. The existence of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Indonesia (HTI) for years is responded by some Islamic groups especially Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and its allies, as threat to the Indonesian life due to the idea brought by HTI. It becomes the root of conflict between HTI and other Islamic groups in Indonesia. This article aims to explain the conflict between HTI and other Islamic groups by elaborating the effort of the Islamic groups to counter the HTI narratives and mobilization by using countermovement approach in social movement studies. This article is a case study research and using mainly secondary data to analyze the issue. This article found that Nahdlatul Ulama as the main countermovement played significant role to counter Hizb ut-Tahrir`s religious and political narratives as well as its political mobilization.

The central point of this paper is to present the results of comparative case study research concerning the impact of the interplay between formal and informal institutions in the corporate governance systems (CGS) of Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC). Particular focus was put on the values of the corporate governance codes (CGC) of CEECs, as well as on transparent ownership structures, transactions with related parties, the protection of minority shareholders, independent members of supervisory boards, and separation between the CEO position and the chairman of the board of directors. The main subject of interest concerns two research areas: the character of the relationship between formal and informal institutions, as well as whether the interplay between them is relevant to the CGSs of CEECs. Moreover, the author investigates whether the CGCs of CEECs consist of regulations that are compatible with the values set up in preambles using research methods such as individual case study or deductive reasoning. The conclusion presented in the paper was drawn on the basis of a review of the literature and research on national and European corporate governance regulations, as well as the CGC of CEECs. The primary contribution this article makes is to advance the stream of research beyond any single country setting, and to link the literature on the interplay between formal and informal institutions related to CGSs in a broad range of economies in transition (‘catch up’ countries) like CEECs. This paper provides an understanding of how the interplay between formal and informal institutions may influence the CGCs of CEECs.
