This research with the aim to know the influence of the use of Creative Problem solving learning model on problem solving skills and cognitive learning outcomes of grade X SMA Islam Al-Ma'arif Pandan Indah Lesson 2016/2017. Population in this research is all student of class X SMA Islam Al-Ma'arif Pandan Indah Lesson Year 2016/2017 with amount of population counted 36 person which existed in class XA and XB. Furthermore, sampling technique used is a saturated sampling technique that is sampling technique when all members of the population used as a sample. Where class XA as experiment class and XB as control class. The type of research used in this study is quasi experiment with observation and test data collection techniques. The results showed that problem solving skills in the first experimental classroom obtained an average percentage of 66% included in the good category, while in the second meeting obtained an average percentage of 79% included in the category of very good. The students' cognitive learning outcomes in the experimental class were 70.4 and the control class was 66.2. The result of hypothesis test with t test at 5% significant level shows that tcount> ttable (2,675> 2,042), meaning H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is influence Creative Problem Solving learning model to problem solving skills and student cognitive learning outcomes.

Problem-solving skill is a way or strategy to achieve goals following good and correct procedures. One of the learning models that can be applied to improve problem-solving skills is a learning model of Problem-Based Learning. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on student’s problem-solving skills of biodiversity. This research was conducted at SMAN 89 Jakarta in August-September 2019. The method used was a quasi-experiment. The research sample was 66 students of class X MIA with a simple random sampling technique, the instrument used was pretest and posttest in the form of a description question. Instrument of problem-solving skills was tested for validity and reliability. The result of the validity test showed that there were 15 valid items out of 18 items. The reliability test showed that the r-value was 0,901 and included in very high criteria. The effectiveness test of the PBL model with normalized gain calculated score of 0,72 or included in the category of fairly effective. The research result showed that the problem-based learning model influenced students’ problem-solving skills of biodiversity.

Analysis of Students' Problem Solving Abilities Based on Early Mathematical Ability AbstractThe lack of students' mathematical problem-solving skills causes students to be less able to solve problems that are non-routine and students are still lacking in developing their ideas and abilities. This study aims to determine students 'mathematical problem-solving abilities through the Problem Based Learning model based on students' Early Mathematical Ability (KAM). The research method used is qualitative. The results of this study indicate that students' mathematical problem-solving abilities through the Problem Based Learning model are better. The sample in this study were students of class VIII-7 Middle School 12 Padang consisting of 32 people. Students who were initially low-skilled increased to moderate-capable students with an increase of 75%. Students who were initially classified as capable were increasing to high-ability students by 26%. Students can 1) understand the problem, 2) draw up a settlement plan, 3) carry out the solution, and 4) re-check the answers.

Kata kunci: Model pembelajaran team assisted individualization, Strategi pembelajaran tugas dan paksa, kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika   ABSTRACT This research was conducted to determine the effect of team assisted individualization learning models with task learning strategies and forced to the ability to solve mathematical problems. Mathematical problem solving ability is an ability that belongs to the national education goals, but its achievement is still relatively low. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a poststest-only research design. Sampling in this study uses purpose sampling technique. The study sample consisted of 60 students divided into two classes (30 experimental classes and 30 control classes). This research was conducted in the school of SMP N 10 Bekasi and SMP N 26 Bekasi. The experimental class uses team individualization learning models with task and forced learning strategies, while the control class uses direct learning. The collected data is then analyzed using independent sample t-test. The results of data analysis showed that the average value of students who learned using the team assisted individualization learning model with higher task and forced strategies compared to the average value of students who learned using direct learning models. This study aims to determine the differences in student's problem-solving abilities through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model and the direct learning model, the differences in students' problem-solving abilities through the PBL model, and the direct learning model in terms of the characteristics of the way of thinking. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a two-way ANOVA design. The sample in this study was the fifth-semester students of class A and B IKIP PGRI Pontianak using the cluster random sampling technique. The used research instrument was a test of problem-solving ability in discrete mathematics courses and a questionnaire on the characteristics of the way of thinking. This study resulted in a difference between student's problem-solving abilities through the PBL model and the direct learning model. The results showed that there were no differences in students' problem-solving abilities through the PBL model and the direct learning model in terms of the characteristics of both the way of thinking, the way of thinking in Concrete Sequences (CS), Sequences Abstract (SA), Concrete Random (CR), or Abstract Random (AR).
