Background: Todays modern and future cardio-respiratory physiotherapists are, and will be, presented with ubiquitous and uncertain complex problems in professional life. Yet, to date, teaching approaches lack robust scientific evidence of optimal learning to stimulate students active cognitive engagement of higher-order skills beyond knowledge and skills transfer and are only focused on graduation. For the past two decades, pedagogy recommends the use of active learning strategies to enhance authentic student engagement, self-efficacy, and satisfaction. In recent years, team-based learning (TBL) is emerging as a popular student-centered active collaborative learning strategy that promotes individual and team learning in medical and allied health education. Objective: This paper reports on the design and impact of the novel Hybrid Team-Based learning" (H-TBL) on students engagement and perceptions of their learning experience in a Year 2 undergraduate physiotherapy Cohort. Study Design : A retrospective study. Methods: In 2019, a keynote lecture on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) was taught using a novel hybrid team-based learning" (H-TBL) comprising phases 1-4, delivered in two sessions (COPD1 and 2) to our year two (n=136), undergraduate physiotherapy students. Results: Of 136 students, 82% engaged in Phase 1, 80% attended Phase 2, and 3 of COPD 2 sessions, and 74% engaged in phase 4. 72% provided their perception of their learning experience. Conclusion: The majority of our students valued the learning experience in H-TBL design. This study confers that H-TBL supports students active engagement and self- efficacy. Future randomized studies are mandated to explore the validity and specificity of H-TBL in the physiotherapy curriculum.

The need to understand how children acquire knowledge in computer-based learning environments led the researcher to undertake this study. The purpose was to develop a conceptualization of what learning strategies children frequently use to process conceptually demanding material. The goal was to expose children to different categories of courseware that featured multimedia, drill and practice, simulations, tutorials, spreadsheets, and databases; and to determine learning strategies including elaboration, organization, integration, and recall. The object was to compare the types of learning strategy and nature of knowledge forms acquired during the process of learning the given material in a subject area. The study was conducted at Washington Elementary School; and participants were children in the third through sixth grades. Data was collected by using surveys, formal observations, and formative and summative evaluation procedures. Results show that 80 percent of the time the students had attention focused on the learning material and gained an elevated level of awareness. The learning strategies imagery, exemplifying, and networking were used 70 percent of the time as means to gain conceptual knowledge, factual knowledge, procedural knowledge, and develop high order thinking. The learning strategies covert practice, overt practice, and identifying key ideas were used 60 percent of the time to gain conceptual knowledge, factual knowledge, procedural knowledge, and rules in the subject areas. The learning strategy categorization was used 40 percent of the time as means to gain conceptual knowledge, factual knowledge, procedural knowledge, and rules. The learning strategies sentence elaboration and anticipation were used 30 percent of the time to gain conceptual knowledge, factual knowledge, procedural knowledge, rules, high-order rules, and develop high order thinking. These findings have implications to learning and knowledge acquisition in computer-based learning environments, instructional design, program development and improvement, and technology and teacher education.

One of the formal education pathways that prepare its graduates to have excellence in the world of work is Vocational High Schools (SMK). Current problems in SMK are generally related to limited equipment, low practice costs, and a learning environment that is not suitable for the world of work. Education is carried out to achieve human resources with the ability to think which is formulated as "Higher Order Thinking Skills" (HOTS) which aims to form human resources with the ability to innovate and be able to solve problems. In developing CBI-based learning models, there are learning models that aim to provide a concrete learning experience through the creation of imitations of experiences that are closer to the actual atmosphere. Computer-based learning is strongly influenced by cognitive learning theory, a model of information processing that began to develop in the 60s and 70s.

One of the problems that can be encountered in children is developmental delay. Children with these limitations certainly need the form of special education services that are adequate and in accordance with the characteristics of the limitations of each child, so they are able to help children with special needs in learning. One form of educational services is the homeschooling program. Therefore researchers were interested in knowing how the steps taken by schools in determining learning strategies, types of learning strategies undertaken and steps in classroom management implemented in ABC'D homeschooling so learning objectives can be achieved. This type of research was observational using qualitative methods with case study design. Respondents in this study amounted to 5 people, namely the principal and representatives of teachers / educators in learning ABC Homes, as well as parents of children who study at ABC Homes, Homes class Mliwis. The results showed the steps carried out at ABCD Homeschooling in determining student learning strategies through stages: identification of the attributes / characteristics of obstacles in children, determining what teaching goals children should be able to achieve after completing a learning experience, choosing learning strategies, choosing material / appropriate materials to achieve goals, test strategies and materials (try it on children), conduct performance evaluations / observe the achievement of goals on children / students. The Learning Strategy applied in ABCD homeschooling was the ABA method, as well as other methods such as the method of task analysis, gradual teaching and motor perception training. Classroom management in homeschooling learning in Mliwis was carried out by placing students according to the type of child barrier and also adapted to the stages of children's abilities in one class. One suggestion that researchers can provide is if possible the need for variations in learning with visual methods (video / film) to help achieve learning objectives.

The study aims to analyze the learning process in the (online) network, supportive factors and teacher inhibitory factors in carrying out online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The study was carried out at muhammadiyah elementary school 2 the estimated shidoarjo city of sidoarjo in April. The study USES descriptive qualitative methods. The subject used in this study was an elementary school teacher at 2 tulangan elementary elementary school. The data-collection techniques used in this study include interviews, documentation and field notes. The result of this study is that the covid-19 pandemic has hada profound impact on the learning process, learning that is normally executed directly is now being transferred to online learning. Learners are bored and bored during learning. Online education done for primary-age children is less effective. A number of teacher factors in the online learning process are the availability of cell phones, quotas and a steady Internet network. In addition to supporting factors in online learning, there are several teacher inhibitors in online learning. These inhibiting factors include the fact that they are still at the elementary school level, so only a few students have cellphones, therefore this can make learning ineffective. Through online there are also obstacles that occur for teachers, namely many students who deliberately do not participate in online learning because they do not have an internet quota to access learning so that students are left behind. And there is also a learning strategy carried out by SD Muhammadiyah 2 Tulangan. On the other hand, face-to-face online learning through applications is the most beneficial thing to break the spread of Covid-19 and maintain the mental health of teachers and students from exposure to the Covid-19 virus.

Online learning poses challenges that students might never have encountered in a face-to-face learning environment. In learning English, students may confront more challenges as they need both cognitive and metacognitive skills in dealing with the dynamic lessons involving interaction, online exercises, and audio, video and text downloads. The challenges faced in online learning have led students to employ learning strategies to help them learn more efficiently and effectively. This paper examined students’ strategy use in learning English online and the correlation of the strategies with their academic performance in the subject. Using the Online Language Learning Strategy Questionnaire (OLLSQ) to gauge students’ strategy use in the domains of cognitive, metacognitive, resource-management and affective, the findings indicated that all students were high users of OLLS in English online learning with the highest preference for metacognitive as the strategies were helpful to students in planning and organizing their studies. However, there was low correlation between the strategies use and performance. Overall, the strategies have impacted the students positively and helped them to cope with the new learning mode that is different from the traditional learning. It is hoped that the discovery of the strategies could provide some important insights into how students can be more successful in learning online, and help others to achieve their study goals and overcome any challenges confronting them in learning English online.   Keywords: E-learners, Learning strategies, Online learning, Performance
