A Web portal aggregates an array of information for a target audience and affords a variety of services including search engines, directories, news, e-mail, and chat rooms, and they have evolved to provide a customized gateway to Web information. Also, a high level of personalization and customization has been possible. The portal concept could further be established to function as a classy Web interface that can serves as sustenance for variety of the task performance. The aggregate information Web portal will serve as portals for the information needs of users on the web. The Web based portal enable marketing of users broadly across a wide variety of interests. Most of the popular usage of the Web based aggregate information portal probably refers to the visual and user interface (UI) design of a Web site. It is a crucial aspect since the visitor is often more impressed with looks of website and easy to use rather than about the technologies and techniques that are used behind the scenes, or the operating system that runs on the web server. In other words, it just does not matter what technologies that is involved in creating, when the site is hard to use and easy to forget. This paper explores the factors that must be painstaking during the design and development of a Web based aggregate information portal. Design as a word in the context of a Web application can mean many things. A working Web based aggregate information portal, kaseremulticoncept was developed to support the various users’ task performances. A number of technologies was studied and implemented in this research, which includes multi-tier architecture, server and client side scripting techniques and technologies such as PHP programming languages and relational databases such as MySQL, Structured Query language (SQL) and XAMPP Server.

One of the solutions to the problem of spatio-temporal data anisotropy is the use of a multilevel system of digital twins based on the corresponding industry models and the updated archive data base. The application of this approach has successfully proved itself in information systems for monitoring the parameters of the geomagnetic field and its variations, providing spatio-temporal interpolation of geomagnetic data with an accuracy of 0.81 nT in magnetically quiet periods. At the same time, the problem of information interaction between the levels of the system of digital twins remained unresolved, which is greatly aggravated by the constantly growing volume of data and their heterogeneous nature. The paper proposes a solution to the indicated problem by means of a formalized mechanism for packaging space-time information, in which the identification of data sources is performed on the basis of a hierarchical binary tokenization system. In addition, the proposed software implementation of such an approach is considered, a distinctive feature of which is the combination of traditional clientserver and innovative serverless architectures to implement a highly loaded reactive web application for working with analyzed data. The main stages of the implementation of information interaction are highlighted and programmatically formalized - from obtaining initial information from its sources to verifying data, analyzing them, processing and forming the output information flow of the system. The results of the computational experiments carried out on the example of the problem of monitoring the parameters of the Earth's magnetic field and its variations confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed solutions, expressed both in increasing the reactivity of web-based applications and in increasing the computational speed of formation and filling of information storages that aggregate information from distributed heterogeneous sources.


In the present era, the internet and new technologies are changing the information behavior of news reader .Instead of reading a copy of the local newspaper or watching the scheduledevening news, people increasingly turn to the internet for daily news updates. A Multi-Lingual news feed application is aimed at developing a web based application named multilingual news feed app. This Application deals with the user who wants to read news from the web application. User can select different countries in which a user is interested, the latest news will be fetched from the selected country. The news will be fetched and displayed based on the country selected in its own national language & the news is categorized into 7 different categories. A user can select any category which they are looking for. When you are done selecting the country & category, then the page will automatically refresh and the news will be displayed on MultiLingual news feed application. This application also supports translation and the news can be translated into any language. This application is fully responsive and has a good-looking user interface. The users will find this application much interesting for reading the news articles.

Event in Indonesia is an activity that utilizes a place or service in the implementation of these activities. Many obstacles that currently often occur when an event wants to be held either in the limited availability of information about the Event Organizer or where the event is inadequate due to limited sources. The similar information provided only display Event Organizer or Venue, but this is limited by the absence of a system that fulfills the transaction process directly. In the era of the development of science and technology as well as industry 4.0 that continues to expand, business ideas emerge that are initialized into one of the web-based marketplace application platforms that are able to promote Event Organizer and Venue also provide information and Event Organizer and Venue ordering processes for Event Users. The system, entitled Finding EO, uses the Prototyping method and its developed with PHP Programming languages.

XML is a widely used general-purpose annotation formalism for creating custom markup languages. XML annotations give structure to plain documents to interpret their content. To extract information from XML documents XPath and XQuery languages can be used. However, the learning of these dialects requires a considerable effort. In this context, the traditional Query-By-Example methodology (for Relational Databases) can be an important contribution to leverage this learning process, freeing the user from knowing the specific query language details or even the document structure. This chapter describes how to apply the Query-By-Example concept in a Web-application for information retrieval from XML documents, the GuessXQ system. This engine is capable of deducing, from an example, the respective XQuery statement. The example consists of marking the desired components directly on a sample document, picked-up from a collection. After inferring the corresponding query, GuessXQ applies it to the collection to obtain the desired result.

More and more systems provide data through web service interfaces and these data have to be integrated with the legacy relational databases of the enterprise. The integration is usually done with enterprise information integration systems which provide a uniform query language to all information sources, therefore the XML data sources of Web services having a procedural access interface have to be matched with relational data sources having a database interface. In this chapter the authors provide a solution to this problem by describing the Web service wrapper component of the SINTAGMA Enterprise Information Integration system. They demonstrate Web services as XML data sources in enterprise information integration by showing how the web service wrapper component integrates XML data of Web services in the application domain of digital libraries.

In general terms, a portal can be seen as “a door, gate or entrance” (Macquarie Library, 1981), and in its simplest form the word just means a gateway; however, it is often a gateway to somewhere other than just to the next room or street. The Oxford Reference Dictionary defines a portal as “a doorway or gate etc, especially a large and elaborate one” (Pearsall & Trumble, 1996). In the context of this article, a Web portal is considered to be a special Internet (or intranet) site designed to act as a gateway to give access to other specific sites. A Web portal can be said to aggregate information from multiple sources and make this information available to various users (Tatnall, 2005c). It consists of a Web site that can be used to find and gain access to other sites, but also to provide the services of a guide that can help to protect the user from the chaos of the Internet and direct him or her toward a specific goal. More generally, however, a portal should be seen as providing a gateway not just to sites on the Web, but to all network-accessible resources, whether involving intranets, extranets, or the Internet. In other words, a portal offers centralised access to all relevant content and applications.

Java becomes one of the most acceptable programming languages in the Intemet because of the characteristics of distribution, object-orientation, interpretation, and independence of computer platform. An application code programmed in Java can be downloaded and run in any client machine with Java VM through Internet. Most of internet-based application uses Java as the first choice of programming language. The Web-based Tele-calligraphy of pneumatic calligraphic manipulator described in here is one of these applications. In this article, authors will discuss the procedures of how to embed Unispen software package Wintab to Javaapplet using Java native interface (JNI). In the server machine, all communication functions between pneumatic servocontroller SPC-200 and computer had been compiled and linked to a dynamic loaded library in Ch language. Under the C/C++ superset interpreted language Ch, calligraphy handwrote by user in client machine will be formatted, sent, and calligraphed in a far located pneumatic robot manipulator through Internet.

Objective – This study reports on research into the information and support needs of practitioners in the museum, archive, and library sectors, who are undergoing an impact evaluation. Design – Qualitative survey. Setting – Web-based questionnaire. Subjects – Twenty-one practitioners in the fields of museums, archives, and libraries. Methods – The study made use of a small-scale web portal that provides impact evaluation research findings, toolkits, and examples of methods. The portal’s intent was to present to the users multiple views of the available information in order to overcome the problem of users not being able to identify their needs. A purposive sample group consisting of 50 practitioners from the museum, library, and archive fields was invited to participate in a questionnaire evaluating the website. Main Results – Despite a fairly low response rate (49%) and poor distribution among the three sectors (museums, libraries, and archives), the results indicated a significant difference in the levels of knowledge and understanding of impact evaluation. Over half of the organizations surveyed had done some assessment of their institution’s economic impact, and there appears to be a rising trend towards doing impact studies for specific projects and developments. Nearly a quarter of the organizations had not undertaken any impact evaluation study previously. Practitioners already familiar with impact evaluation tended to look at broader range of fields for expertise, whereas those with less familiarity remained within their own sector. Practitioners with less experience preferred tools, guidance, and examples of methodologies as opposed to actual evidence of impact. The results also provided the authors with feedback on their web portal and how to organize the information therein. Conclusions – One of the findings of the study was that the overall reaction to impact evaluation support through research evidence, guidance, and other mechanisms was positive. For most practitioners, evaluation itself and the level of understanding of impact evaluation are at early stages. The primary goals for those undertaking impact evaluation were found to be professional and organizational learning, thus there is a need for practical help and guidance in these areas. Time limitation appeared to be a significant factor in the responses – particularly with smaller organizations – suggesting that their portal material would provide much-needed assistance to such organizations. Finally, it was concluded that future emphasis should be placed on developing practical applications rather than pure research.

Online information needs have evolved in the real direction. These needs include the latest information, government services, and commercial products. The research question is how to describe and optimize keyword research with the allintitle technique on the google search engine. The development method used in this research is the prototype method because it is considered able to be evaluated directly on the user. The system testing is done for 3 months by placing keywords on several websites on Google. The conclusion that can be taken is to use the allintitle technique, the search results for the web are easier to find. And this web-based allintitle technique can overcome the challenges of captcha verification from the Google search engine.   Keywords: Allintitle, Google's Search Engine, Keyword competition.
