Communication is very important in the world of work. With communication, individuals can socialize with other individuals well. But in reality, there are still many individuals who have not been able to communicate well. Vocational High School (SMK) is a secondary education that prepares students to become professional workers. Therefore, it is expected that SMKs can produce students who understand and can communicate well. Interpersonal communication is sending messages from individuals to other individuals with direct effects and feedback. This research is a research development that aims to develop guidelines to improve interpersonal communication of vocational high school students in entering into the world of work through information services. The sample selection uses purposive sampling. The results of this study indicate a material feasibility test score of 78.9 with a feasible category and expert judgment on the appearance of an appearance with an average score of 85.7 with a very feasible category. As for the practicality test an average score of 92.8 with a high category.

Abstract: Adolescence is a crucial phase of life where individuals need to choose a particular career. In choosing a career, many individuals experience problems. This study aims to: (1) create an interactive multimedia product containing career information to improve vocational high school students’ career maturity; (2) reveal the quality of interactive multimedia containing career information in improving vocational high school students’ career; and (3) understand the effectiveness of interactive multimedia containing career information in improving vocational high school students’ career maturity. This research development referred to Borg & Gall’s development research. In the feasibility stage, data collection was conducted by distributing multimedia feasibility test questionnaires to media experts and material experts; assessment questionnaires to students; and career maturity scale. Results indicated that the use of interactive multimedia containing career information effectively increased vocational high school students’ career maturity.Abstrak: Masa remaja merupakan fase kehidupan yang sangat penting dimana individu perlu menetapkan pilihannya pada suatu karier tertentu. Dalam memilih karier, banyak individu mengalami permasalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan sebuah produk multimedia interaktif yang berisi informasi karier untuk meningkatkan kematangan karier siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK); (2) mengungkap kualitas kelayakan multimedia interaktif yang berisi informasi karier untuk meningkatkan kematangan karier siswa SMK; dan (3) mengetahui keefektifan multimedia interaktif yang berisi informasi karier untuk meningkatkan kematangan karier siswa SMK. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada langkah penelitian pengembangan Borg & Gall. Pada tahap uji kelayakan, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar angket uji kelayakan multimedia kepada ahli media; ahli materi; dan angket penilaian untuk siswa serta skala kematangan karier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia interaktif informasi karier efektif meningkatkan kematangan karier siswa SMK.

Abstract This research is aimed to develop knowledge enrichment book about tornado as a physics learning resource, especially to Bassed Competence 3.7 Class XI, namely Applying the principle of fluid dynamics in technology. The method applied in this research is the Development Research referring to the Dick and Carey model. Steps that was done are survey in eight high school, two well-known bookstore in Jakarta, online bookstore, and Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan (Puskurbuk). The survey results show there is knowledge enrichment book is presented with more focus on the disaster that is less scientific and less deep because only limited discuss section. Referring to the results of the survey and quality standards enrichment books, knowledge enrichment book is written by discuss mainly the physical quantities of gas flow especially pressure gradient, the events and the physical concept of tornado, to disaster mitigation. Based on results of the readability test to high school students is obtained a mean score of materials component is 92,5%, 88,5% for presentation, 84,17% for language, and 85,62% for graphics. Score 87,5% stated that the material in the book is easy to understand and 82,5% stated that the presentation materials may be motivated to dig up more information. Based on results of readability test, thin book obtaine excellent overall interpretation. Based on the results of the feasibility test, gets an average score of 81,05, showing knowledge enrichment book "Kajian Fisis Peristiwa Angin Puting Beliung" decent with a good rating. Keywords: knowledge enrichment book, tornado, pressure, air flow Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku pengayaan pengetahuan angin puting beliung sebagai sumber belajar fisika terutama untuk Kompetensi Dasar (KD) 3.7 Kelas XI, yaitu Menerapkan prinsip fluida dinamik dalam teknologi. Metode yang diterapkan yaitu Penelitian Pengembangan yang mengacu pendapat Dick dan Carey. Langkah yang sudah  dilakukan yaitu survei di delapan SMA, dua toko buku terkenal di Jakarta, toko buku online, dan Pusat Kurikulum dan Perbukuan (Puskurbuk). Hasil survei menunjukkan sajian buku pengayaan terkait angin puting beliung yang ada lebih fokus pada bencana sehingga kurang ilmiah dan kurang mendalam karena hanya sebatas dalam satu subbab. Mengacu pada hasil survei dan standar kualitas buku pengayaan, ditulis buku pengayaan pengetahuan yang membahas besaran fisis aliran gas terutama gradien tekanan, peristiwa dan konsep fisis terjadinya angin puting beliung, hingga mitigasi bencana. Berdasarkan hasil uji keterbacaan kepada siswa SMA diperoleh rerata skor komponen materi 92,5%, penyajian 88,5%, bahasa 84,17%, dan grafika 85,62%. Skor 87,5% menyatakan materi pada buku mudah dipahami dan 82,5% menyatakan penyajian materi dapat memotivasi untuk menggali informasi lebih lanjut. Dari hasil uji keterbacaan, buku ini memperoleh interpretasi keseluruhan sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil uji kelayakan diperoleh rata-rata skor 81,05, menunjukkan buku pengayaan pengetahuan “Kajian Fisis Peristiwa Angin Puting Beliung” layak dengan predikat baik. The Objective of this research were: (1) To develop ERM to meet the needs of second grade of dressmaking students at SMKN 10 Medan, (2) To Design ERM which is suitable to the needs of second grade of dressmaking students at SMKN 10 Medan. The subjects were the eleventh year students of dressmaking department at SMKN 10 Medan. The study was a Research and Development (R & D) study which is adapted from Borg and Gall (1983). This research were conducted by six phases, they are, Gathering information and data, Analyzing data, Designing new reading materials, Validating new reading materials, Revising new reading materials, Revised-developing reading materials. The Instruments for collecting the data were 30 questionarries need analysis and interview students, teacher and practitioner. The results from the data were the students need authentic material which related and appropriate to their need in order they can understand English well. The developed materials were validated by two experts, one is a lecture and the other is a teacher. The validator scored 4 creteria. The research findings showed that the developed materials were appropriate to be implemented. The average score of validation was 4,72 (lecture score) and 4,75 (teacher score). Based on the results of the study, conclusion and suggestions are directed to the teachers and institution who are teaching in SMKN 10 Medan generally to create and to develop the materials based on students need.Key words: English Reading Materials, Vocational High School Students,                  English for Specific Purpose

One of the factors that contribute to the level of employability is entrepreneurial intention. This study discusses the role of entrepreneurial intentions on students' employability. The population in this study was all students of grade XII of Vocational High School Koperasi Yogyakarta, Indonesia, consisting of 141 students. The sample in this study was 86 students. The sample selection was done by randomizing using a cluster random sampling technique. Methods of data collection used in this study are scales, employability scale, and entrepreneurial intentions scale. Analysis of the data used in this study is the product-moment analysis technique. The results of data analysis showed the correlation between entrepreneurial intentions and employability where r = 0.339 with p = 0.001 (p < 0.01), which showed a very significant positive correlation between the two variables at the research site. It means that the level of employability can be predicted based on entrepreneurial intention. The entrepreneurial intention contributed 11.5% to employability, and the remaining 88.5% can be influenced by other variables.

Practicum based learning is required to provide opportunities for students in finding and applying concepts by observation. Student worksheet with discovery learning model and equipped with AR video are needed as learning tool, so students will be able to have good work in laboratory and implementation of practicum is effective. This study aims to produce LKPD and AR media that is videos related to the topic of practicum. The method used in this study is a research and development method with the Dick and Carey model approach. The feasibility test was carried out on the product using a Likert scale instrument. Feasibility test on material experts obtained a score of 96.93%, on media experts at 89.95%, on learning experts at 81% and obtained an average score of 89.29% with a very proper interpretation. Next, a user trial was conducted on the product with respondents, which are at SMAN 54 Jakarta. Trials on teachers obtained a score of 97.61%, and trials on students obtained a score of 88.47%. The limited trials is done by doing pre-test and post-test on students. Limited trial results obtained an average n-gain score of 0.47. Based on the results of the feasibility test, user trials, and limited trials, it can be concluded that the developed student worksheet is very suitable to be used as a learning tool in physics practicum activities in senior high school at 10th grade.

This article discusses the challenges of students in continuing their education to higher education, especially students from vocational or vocational high schools. Vocational (vocational) high school students can continue their education to higher education in addition to having great opportunities to enter the world of work. Students who wish to continue their education to tertiary institutions do not show the required preparation. Likewise, students who will choose to work after completing Vocational High School are less mature in entering the world of work. This study aims to analyze the preparation of students in continuing their education to higher education. This type of research is descriptive research. The research subjects were students of vocational high schools, amounting to 89 people.  The questionnaire in this research uses the theory developed by Prayitno. The results showed that at least the number of students who made preparations before they entered college. Thus, it is hoped that the counselor can help improve students' understanding of themselves and their environment, in preparation for entering college.
