This research is related to the role of teachers in the application of active, innovative, creative, effective, and fun learning (PAIKEM) to improve the learning achievement of high school students in South Aceh District. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research type. The population of this study were students of class XI high school in South Aceh District for the academic year 2019/2020. There are 1376 students who are the population of this study. Given the large population, this study uses Cluster Sampling and Proposional Random Sampling to determine the research sample. The sample of this research is 176 students of class XI high school in South Aceh District. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a percentage in order to know the answer to each item and the product moment correlation formula to determine the level of the relationship between learning achievement and learning methods. The results showed that the role of teachers in implementing PAIKEM in South Aceh District was running well with a percentage of 38%. There is a positive and significant relationship between the role of teachers in the application of PAIKEM and student achievement (r = 0.203) so that the application of PAIKEM contributes 20%. It is hoped that teachers will always take the initiative in developing their expertise in implementing learning in accordance with PAIKEM so that the teaching and learning process is more enjoyable and can improve student learning achievement

Abstract: Adolescence is a crucial phase of life where individuals need to choose a particular career. In choosing a career, many individuals experience problems. This study aims to: (1) create an interactive multimedia product containing career information to improve vocational high school students’ career maturity; (2) reveal the quality of interactive multimedia containing career information in improving vocational high school students’ career; and (3) understand the effectiveness of interactive multimedia containing career information in improving vocational high school students’ career maturity. This research development referred to Borg & Gall’s development research. In the feasibility stage, data collection was conducted by distributing multimedia feasibility test questionnaires to media experts and material experts; assessment questionnaires to students; and career maturity scale. Results indicated that the use of interactive multimedia containing career information effectively increased vocational high school students’ career maturity.Abstrak: Masa remaja merupakan fase kehidupan yang sangat penting dimana individu perlu menetapkan pilihannya pada suatu karier tertentu. Dalam memilih karier, banyak individu mengalami permasalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan sebuah produk multimedia interaktif yang berisi informasi karier untuk meningkatkan kematangan karier siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan (SMK); (2) mengungkap kualitas kelayakan multimedia interaktif yang berisi informasi karier untuk meningkatkan kematangan karier siswa SMK; dan (3) mengetahui keefektifan multimedia interaktif yang berisi informasi karier untuk meningkatkan kematangan karier siswa SMK. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengacu pada langkah penelitian pengembangan Borg & Gall. Pada tahap uji kelayakan, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar angket uji kelayakan multimedia kepada ahli media; ahli materi; dan angket penilaian untuk siswa serta skala kematangan karier. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia interaktif informasi karier efektif meningkatkan kematangan karier siswa SMK.

The present study aims to analyze theentrepreneurial intentions (EI) of students by usingtheory of planed behavior (TPB) as the underlyingthinking framework. The role of entrepreneurialattitude (EA) and entrepreneurial self-efficacy (ESE)as mediators also analyzed. 302 students from fivevocational high schools in Indonesia were involvedas participants. Mediating role of EA and ESEstatistically analyzed by followed Hayes (2018.) EIwas statistically significant shaped byentrepreneurial personal motivation (EPM), EA, andESE. EA and ESE were statistically significant asmediators of EPM towards EI. This finding can beused as preliminary diagnosis of entrepreneurshipeducation program in vocational high school inIndonesia. Entrepreneurship teaching shouldconsider that raise EPM is an important aspect forraising EI

Purpose: This study aimed to empirically examine the role of entrepreneur intention and responsibility on the employability of students who attend State Vocational High School 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Methodology: The subjects in this study were students of class XII of State Vocational High School 1 Kalasan Yogyakarta, Indonesia, which amounted to 225 students. The sampling technique was obtained by cluster random sampling. Methods of collecting data used are employability scale, entrepreneurial intention scale, and responsibility scale. The data analysis used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Main Findings: The results showed that there was 1) a very significant correlation between entrepreneur intention and responsibility simultaneously on employability with R = 0.608, p = 0.000 (p<0.01). 2) a very significant correlation between entrepreneurial intention and employability with r = 0.171, p = 0.005 (p<0.01). 3) a very significant correlation between responsibility and employability with r = 0.603, p = 0.000 (p<0.01). Applications of this study: This study shows that entrepreneur intention and responsibility has an important role in preparing students to get the knowledge and skills needed to get a job, and then applied in the workplace when graduates have worked. This results study also can throw light on strategies to be adopted to enhance employability in students of Vocational High School. It can also be used as a reference to prepare an entrepreneur's intention and responsibility skill training module to improve employability. Novelty: To the best of our knowledge, psychology research about entrepreneur intention, responsibility, and employability of State Vocational High School students is still rarely done both in Indonesia and abroad. This study focuses on the employability of State Vocational High School students. Previous studies only discussed limited employability for undergraduate and employee graduates, while in this study in vocational high school students.

One of the factors that contribute to the level of employability is entrepreneurial intention. This study discusses the role of entrepreneurial intentions on students' employability. The population in this study was all students of grade XII of Vocational High School Koperasi Yogyakarta, Indonesia, consisting of 141 students. The sample in this study was 86 students. The sample selection was done by randomizing using a cluster random sampling technique. Methods of data collection used in this study are scales, employability scale, and entrepreneurial intentions scale. Analysis of the data used in this study is the product-moment analysis technique. The results of data analysis showed the correlation between entrepreneurial intentions and employability where r = 0.339 with p = 0.001 (p &lt; 0.01), which showed a very significant positive correlation between the two variables at the research site. It means that the level of employability can be predicted based on entrepreneurial intention. The entrepreneurial intention contributed 11.5% to employability, and the remaining 88.5% can be influenced by other variables.

Dewasa ini persaingan dunia kerja semakin kompleks dan persaingan kualifikasi persaingan kerja semakin ketat. Siswa diharapkan dapat memiliki perencanaan karir sesuai dengan bakat, minat, taraf intelegensi, dan nilai-nilai kehidupan yang dimiliki untuk memudahkan siswa dalam merencanakan karir. Dalam membuat perencanaan karir, siswa membutuhkan informasi sebagai bahan pertimbangan siswa dalam membuat perencanaan karir yang sesuai dengan bakat, minat, taraf intelegensi dan nilai-nilai kehidupan yang dimilikinya melalui layanan informasi karir. Dengan pemahaman tersebut, siswa mampu merencanakan karirnya secara matang sesuai dengan keadaan dirinya. Upaya meningkatkan perencanaan karir dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan layanan informasi karir berbantuan website. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa SMA di Kota Tarakan melalui layanan informasi karir berbantuan website. Desain eksperimen yang digunakan dalampenelitian ini adalah pre eksperimen dalam bentuk one group pretest-post design.Penelitian ini melibatkan 35 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini adalah layanan informasi karir berbantuan website efektif meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa SMA di Kota Tarakan (10,094, p < 0.01). __________________________________________________________ Today's increasingly complex business world competition and competition qualifications increasingly tight. Students are expected to have career planning according to their talents, interests, intelligence level, and life values to facilitate students in career planning. In making career planning, students need information as a material balance of students in making career planning in accordance with the talent, interests, intelligence level and the values of life it has through career information services. With that understanding, students are able to plan their careers according to their situation. Efforts to improve career planning can be done using career information services assisted by website. This study aims to improve the career planning of senior high school students in Tarakan City through information career services assistance through the website. The experimental design used in this research is quasi-experiment in the form of one group pretest-post design. The career planning scale consists of 45 items with 5 falling items and 0.875 alpha coefficient. This study involved 35 students as an experimental group selected by purposive sampling. The result of this research indicate that career information service the website-assisted effectively improve the career planning of high school students in Tarakan City (10,094, p <0.01).

Teachers play important roles in developing students’ talents. This paper focuses on the roles of teachers in talents development from teachers and deputy head of students’ affairs perfective. They are deputy head of SMK 1, SMUN 4 and MAN 2 Langsa. The purpose is to clarify about teachers understanding of talents in secondary schools in Langsa and what’s the role of teachers in developing students’ talents. A qualitative research by interview conducted among teachers and the deputy head of students affairs show that there are several roles taken by teachers in developing students’ talents. They are (1) parent partners, (2) role models, (3) organizers, (4) motivators, (5) facilitators, and (6) supervisors. However, most teachers understand talents only come from five senses. As a result the currents focus of developing talents in high schools is about field talents while talents come from nature (characters) is not nurtured yet.

One of the negative impact of globalization era is the decreasing of the character of senior high school’ students. This case can be seen from many kinds of offenses of the students such as bring pornographic readings, skipping classes, smoking, and brawls. Therefore, one of the effort of the school to overcome the problems is through student council. The purpose of this research is to describe the role of the student council in forming the students’ characters in Vocational High School 2 in Salatiga from (1) student council’s work programs that have been arranged and done, (2)  the students character formation through student council's activities, (3) the successful implementation of student council activities in shaping the students’ character. Qualitative research with a descriptive approach is used in this study  and the participants are the chairman and members of the student council, and  student council adviser. The data collection used interview, observation, and documentation. The results of the research showed:  (1) there were 4 activities or programs of student council such as class meetings, the representative meeting, the introduction of the school environment, and basic leadership training, (2) Four activities or programs formed the students’ character such as discipline, confidence, responsibility, mutual respect, democracy, caring, critical, and leadership, (3) the programs are done successfully to change the students' character who were less disciplined to be more disciplined, responsible to do homework, caring to friends, critical and confident in giving opinions in front of the class or public,  cooperated well and respected to teachers.
