ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describe the reading skills of fable text comprehension of class VII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. Second, describing fable text writing skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. Third, describe the contribution of reading skills to fable text comprehension on fable text writing skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contribution. The population of this study was the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang who were enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, namely as many as 250 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, which is 48 students. The data of this study were scores on the results of reading skills tests of fable text comprehension and scores on the results of fable text writing skills. The data was obtained through two types of tests, namely objektive to measure reading skills fable text comprehension and performance tests to measure fable text writing skills. The results of this study are three. First, reading skills of fable text comprehension of class VII students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang are in good qualification (B) with an average value of 81.31. Second, fable text writing skills of grade VII students of Padang Public Middle School 25 are in good qualification (B) with an average of 77.26. Third, there is a contribution of reading skills in fable text comprehension towards fable text writing skills of class VII students of Padang State Middle School at 53.29%. Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, keterampilan membaca                    pemahaman, keterampilan menulis teks fabel

ABSTRACT The purpose of the study is to describe the skill of reading Fable Story Texts on Writing Skills for Fable Story Texts of Class VIII Students of SMP Negeri 35 Padang. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contribution. The population of this study was the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 35 Padang who were enrolled in the 2019/2020 school year, namely as many as 134 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, namely 35 students. The data of this study were in the form of scores on the results of the test skills for reading fable text and tests of fable story writing skills. The data was obtained through two types of tests namely objective tests to measure the skill of reading fable story texts and performance tests to measure the writing skills of fable stories. The results of this study are three. First, the ability to read fable story texts in class VIII Padang Public Middle School 35 is in good qualification (B) with an average value of 77.55. Second, the skill to write fable story texts in grade VIII Padang Public Middle School 35 is in good qualification (B) with an average value of 73.97. Third, there is a contribution to the contribution of fable's text reading skills to the fable writing text skills of Grade VIII students of Padang State Middle School at 67.57%. It was concluded that the skill to read fable story texts contributed to the skill of writing fable story texts. Kata kunci: Kontribusi, Keterampilan membaca, Menulis, Teks Cerita Fabel

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is three. First, describe the reading skills of the text apresitif fable grade VII SMP Negeri 30 Padang. Second, describing the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang. Thirdly, describing the contribution of fable text apreciprocative reading skills to text writing skills Fable class VII SMP Negeri 30 Padang.  This type of research is quantitative by a descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contributions. The population of this study is class VII junior high School 30 Padang registered in the school year 2018/2019, which is as many as 254 students. The samples in this study were determined by proportional random sampling of 20% of the population, which is 56 students. This research Data is in the form of scores of test skills read Fable text appreciative and score test results of text writing fable. The results of this study were three. First, the skill of reading a text apresiative fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang is in good qualification (B) with an average value of 74.19. Secondly, the writing skills of text fable grade VII students SMP Negeri 30 Padang are in good qualification (B) with an average of 76.64. Secondly, it describes the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. Third, describing the contribution of reading skills of anecdotal text to the writing skills of anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang. This type of research is quantitative by a descriptive method. The design used in this study is design contributions. The population of this study is the XI MA Negeri 3 class students enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, with 250 students. The samples in this study were determined by simple random sampling 25% of the population, which is 61 students. This research Data in the form of scores of test skills reads the understanding of anecdotal text and scores test results of anecdotal text. The Data is obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the reading skills of anecdotal text and test performance to measure anecdotal text writing skills. The results of this study were three. First, the reading skills of understanding anecdotal text students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang are in good qualification (B) with an average value of 85.09. Secondly, the writing skills of anecdote-class students XI MA Negeri 3 Padang are on a good qualifying (BS) with an average of 86.13. ABSTRACT The purpose of the research is to describe the reading skills of students' news text comprehension, Second, to describe the skills of writing news texts of students, third, to describe the correlation of reading comprehension of news texts with news writing skills of students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 9 Padang. The population of this research is VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Padang in the 2019/2020 school year, which is 245 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling 25% of 49 students. The research data scores the results of reading text comprehension test scores and the scores of news text writing skills scores. The research instrument is an objective test for reading text comprehension skills and performance tests for news text writing skills. Research Results First, the reading skills of understanding the news text of good qualifying students (B). Second, the skills of writing news texts of good qualifying students (B). Third, there is a correlation between reading comprehension and news writing skills with news writing skills of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 9 Padang with degrees of freedom n-1 at 95% confidence level. T value (5.55) is greater than t table (1.68), i.e. titung> ttabel (5.55> 1.68) thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted because the test results prove that tcount is greater than t table. It can be concluded that reading text comprehension skills are correlated with news text writing skills. Kata Kunci: Korelasi, Membaca Pemahaman, Teks Berita

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describing reading skills understanding text of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 32 Padang. Second, describing the exposition for writing the text skills of Grade VIII students in Padang Middle School 32 Third, describing the correlation of reading skills in the text comprehension and the exposition for writing text skills for grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 32 Padang. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The design used is correlational design. The study population was grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 32 Padang who were enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, which was 196 students. The study sample was determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, namely 49 students. The research data is in the form of a reading skill test score understanding and the score of the exsposition for writing the text exsposition. There are two instruments for this research, namely objective tests to measure reading skills, comprehension  and performance tests to measure the exsposition for writing text skills. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that there was a significant correlation between reading skills, text comprehension, and exsposition writing skills in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 32 Padang. at the real level (α) of 95% with n-1 freedom degrees in other words if the reading skills of students 'exsposition text comprehension are good, then students' writing skills are also good. There are two instruments for this research, namely objective tests to measure reading skills, comprehension of text exposition and performance tests to measure for writing text skills. Text comprehension exposition, and writing skills in class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Painan at the real level (α) of 95% with n-1 freedom degrees in other words if the reading skills of students exposition text comprehension are good, then students' writing skills are also good. ABSTRACT This article reveals the correlation of reading comprehension skills with writing skills of explanatory texts grade students XI SMA Negeri Padang 14. There are three purposes of this study. First, to describe the reading comprehension skills of class XI SMA Negeri 14 Padang. Second, to describe the explanatory text writing skills of class XI SMA Negeri 14 Padang . Third, to describe the correlation of reading comprehension skills with explanatory text writing skills in class XI SMA Negeri 14 Padang. This type of research is quantitative with descriptive method. The design used in this study is correlation design. The population of this study is was XI SMA Negeri 14 who were enrolled in the 2018/2019 school year, which was 273 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 15% of the population which is 40 students. The research data is in the form of scores on the result of explanatory writing skills. The istrument of this study is an objective test to measure comprehension reading skills and performance tests to measure explanatory writing skills. The results of this study are three. First, the reading comprehension skills of students XI SMA Negeri 14 Padang are in good qualification (B). Second, explanatory text writing skills of students  XI SMA Negeri 14 Padang are in good qualification (B). Third, reading comprehension skills have a significant correlation with explanatory text writing skills of the eleventh grade students XI SMA Negeri 14 Padang of  at 76%, while remaining 24% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. Kata kunci: Korelasi, Keterampilan, Membaca Pemahaman, Menulis, Teks Eksplanasi

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is as follows. First, describe the critical reading skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan. Second, it describes the writing skills text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan. Thirdly, analysing the contribution of the reading skills of critical writing skills text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan. Type of this research is a descriptive method quantitative research. The design of research i.e. research korelasional. This research population is grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan 2018/2019 school year with a total of 50 people scattered in two classes. A sample of these studies amounted to 50 people. Sampling techniques in the study are the total sampling. Variables this research is critical reading skills as free variables (X) and writing skills text exposition as a variable (Y). The instruments used in this research is an objective test for critical reading skills and test performance for writing skills text Exposition. The results of the research there are three, as follows. First, critical reading skills of students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan qualified enough, with an average value of 57.08 is under the KKM (75). Second, the skills of writing a text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan qualified enough, with an average value of 59.67 is under the KKM (75). Third, there is a positive and significant contribution between critical reading skills with writing skills text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan at significant level 95% and the degrees of freedom (dk) = n-1 because thitung > ttabel IE 3.03 > 1.68.  Based on the results of this study it was concluded that there is a linear relationship between critical reading skills with writing skills text exposition of grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul Selatan with a confidence level of 95%. In other words, if the student's critical reading skills are good, then the exposition text writing skills students are also good. In contrast, when bad Exposition text skills, then writing skills students also bad Exposition text. Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, Membaca Kritis, Menulis Teks Eksposisi

ABSTRACTThere are three aims of this study. First, describe the skills of listening to the news of VIII grade students of the Middle School Development at the UNP Laboratory Development. Second, describe the writing text skills of VIII grade students of the Middle School Development in the Construction of the UNP Laboratory. Third, describe the contribution of listening to the news with the writing text skills of  VIII grade students at the UNP Laboratory Development.The  type of this research is quantitative in terms of descriptive methods. The design used in this study is correlational design. The population of this study was the eighth grade students of the Middle School Development of the UNP Laboratory which was registered in the 2017/2018 school year, it was 168 students.The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling of 25% of the population, namely 42 students. The research data is in the form of scores on the skills test results of listening to the news and scores on the results of the test writing news text skills. The instrument of this study is an objective test to measure news listening skills and performance tests to measure news text writing skills.The results of this study are three. First, the skills to write news texts of  VIII grade students of the Middle School Development.The development of the UNP Laboratory is in accordance with the Good qualifications (B). Second, the skill of listening to the news text of VIII grade students of the Middle School Development of the UNP Laboratory Development in accordance with Good qualifications (B). Third, listening to news text skills contributed 32.72% to the news text writing skills of VIII grade students of the Middle School Development at the Construction of the UNP Laboratory.                    Kata Kunci: Kontribusi, Keterampilan Menyimak Berita, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Berita
