This study aims to develop student worksheet based on science process skills and to determine the level of feasibility and teacher response to the developed student worksheet. The form of this research model is research and development (R&D) with reference to the ADDIE development model modified into ADD, namely Analysis, Design and Development. The subjects of this study were student worksheet and the responses of 3 chemistry teachers at SMA Kubu Raya. The data collection instrument used was the assessment sheet. the feasibility of the material, language, and graphics as well as the teacher's response questionnaire. The results of data processing show that the developed student worksheet is very suitable for use in learning electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions in terms of the feasibility of material, language, and graphics with a percentage of 98.2% with a very feasible category. Based on the calculation of the teacher response questionnaire to the science process skills based student worksheet, it shows that the teacher response is very good with a percentage of 93%. Thus, science process skills based student worksheet is very suitable to be used in the learning process.

The purpose of this study was to obtain a chemical practicum KIT as an effective learning medium to train students' science process skills in scientific method, polar and non-polar covalent compounds, electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. This study uses a 4-D research model which includes the stages of defining, designing, developing, and distributing. However, in this study only limited to the development stage. The results of the research obtained showed that classical completeness in the posttest workmanship on all three materials was 100%. While the increase in learning outcomes aspects of science process knowledge and skills in the three materials are in the category of "medium" and "high". Based on the results, it can be concluded that the practicum KIT learning media is effective for training science process skills in scientific method, polar and non-polar covalent compounds, electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions.

The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of a wetland environment-based practicum module to train students' science process skills. This research was a research and development study with a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate) with the limitations of this research in the form of product effectiveness only. The product has been validated and the result was 89% categorized as very valid. The subjects of the trial were students of Lambung Mangkurat University Physics Education and the subjects of the distribution stage were Physics Tadris students UIN Antasari. The instrument used in the study was a science process skills assessment sheet, meanwhile the data analysis is done by calculate the n-gain on the value of science process skills and accompanied by the average value of each meeting as supporting data. The results shows that this module was effective in the medium category. It can be conclude that this wetland environment-based practicum module is effective for use in lectures.

Questioning plays an important part in the teaching and learning science. Previous research has extensively focused on teachers’ questions compared to students’ questions. Research of students’ questions is vital as it shows how students think and their understanding of a content studied. Hence, this research focuses on students’ questions, types of questions asked and the sequence(s) after students’ question. Twenty three chemistry teachers and their students of national secondary schools were involved in this study. Ninety two chemistry lessons were observed, audio and video recorded. Transcript of the lessons showed that students’ questions were mainly related to content or science process skills as emphasised in inquiry teaching and learning. However, most questions asked by students were low order closed questions. The sequence after students’ questions with the highest percentage (83.33%) was IR (Initiation from student, followed by teachers’ response). This sequence showed that chemistry teachers in this study did not display inquiry-based questioning characteristics because in inquiry teaching, teachers should avoid responding to students’ questions. Instead, they should provide opportunities for students to respond to their friends’ questions. Hence, teachers should move towards student initiated inquiry, where students ask higher order thinking questions and increasing the interaction among the students.

The learning of chemistry which becomes increasingly complex in the 21 century demands the students to develop a number of cognitive as well as psychomotoric skills throughly. There are skills which students have to master such as analytical thinking skills and science processing skills. However, in reallity, there are many obstacles faced by the teachers to measure those two variables. Therefore, a test which is able to measure the ability of the students both in cognitive and psychomotoric and to optimalize the potency of the students is needed. The objective of this study is to solve the problem of assessment in chemistry learning which only measures thinking skills on lower level and gives little attention on science processing skills of students. The interview results conducted towards chemistry teachers in several SMA/MA in Yogyakarta, show that the teacher have not been fully assessed in correct manner in practical learning procces. On the other hand, one of competencies which teachers must possesed is to develop assessment instruments. Moreover, there are a lot of learning results, instruments used by the teachers which have not been able to measure the students analytical thinking skills and science processing skills effectively and efficiently. A good assessing instrument is an instrument which is able to develop the students‟s ability to solve the problems, to find solutions, as well as to increase their analytical thinking skills through chemistry learning based on science processing skills. Therefore, the measurement of analytical thingking skills and science process skills of the students integratively has to be conducted to embrace the demand of 21 century chemistry learning.

Research and development of interactive multimedia development model is adapted from Lee & Owens;the steps were analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of learningmaterials proportion analysis based curriculum: tissues: organs: totipotensi was 40%: 40%: 20%. Theresults of need analysis of science process skills indicated that students are lack of ability in terms ofgrouping and concluding skill. The analysis also reveals that students need multimedia, which isinteresting and aesthetics. In the design phase, developers create a storyboard based on the results of theanalysis. In development stage, we input all information in storyboard to the media. According to mediaexperts, the product is scored well and very well. Trials phase is conducted in a small groups and largegroups. The results of tests shows that the skills of students increased from 69.34 to 89.30, and knowledgeof students also increased from 75.7 to 91.9. The effectiveness of interactive multimedia structure andfunction of plant tissue seen by the changes in knowledge, performance, and the positive response ofstudents using interactive multimedia and facilitate students doing science process skills.

The objectives of the study to investigate chemistry teachers’ ability in measuring students’ analytical thinking and science process skills. This subject research is chemistry teachers’ of XI IPA classes of five senior high schools in Yogyakarta. Data collecting technique used questionnaire and was analyzed in qualitative-descriptive method. The result of the qualitative analyze shows that: 1) some of the subject research teachers do not have the assessment instrument, 2) assessment laboratory activities have not using the assessment instrument, and 3) assessment instrument is not equipped with standard scoring guidelines. On the other hand, the chemistry teachers’ ability in measuring analytical thinking and science process skills is low. Therefore, chemistry teachers should be improved their ability in measuring analytical thinking and science process skills.

This study aims to develop a physics practicum guide based on science process skills on static fluid material using Kvisoft Flipbook Maker that meets valid criteria or is suitable for use. This study is development research in accordance with the ADDIE model, i.e.: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The science process skills indicator contained in the practicum guide is an indicator of basic and integrated science process skills by Rezba (2007). The practicum guide is validated by material and media experts and produces excellent assessment results so that it is suitable for use in the physics learning process of senior high school, especially on static fluid topic.
