While as many as 32 students VIIIB class with the sampling technique is simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques documentation of Economics Social Science teachers for learning outcomes data and the questionnaire method for data motivation. From the learning research that has been done can be concluded that, there are significant relationship between motivation to learn the daily tests student learning outcomes in social studies Economics at Junior High School eighth grade 2 Purwantoro school year 2012/2013. It is evident from the value of 6.363 Fcount while the value Ftable (3,996). On the other hand the value of Sighitung 0.000 and of Sigprob 0.05. This means that the value of Fcount ≥ Ftable (6.363> 3.996) and Sighitung ≤ Sigprob (0.05 ≤ 0.000). The amount of influence learning motivation on learning outcomes daily test eighth grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Purwantoro the Academic Year 2012/2013. Is showed with R Square = 0.522, which means that the learning outcomes are influenced by motivation by 52% and the remaining 48% influenced by other factors. While the results of the t test motivation factor positively impact on learning outcomes of daily tests in the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Purwantoro the Academic Year 2012/2013 is evident from the results of the analysis indicate tcount 9.717 ≥ ttable 2.000 or Sigcount ≤ Sigprob (0,000 ≤ 0,05). This research is motivated by the lack of mathematics teaching materials that can make students learn on their own. The teaching material can be created by teachers as they are the ones who possess the knowledge about their students’ characteristics. Further, learning materials are a set of materials (information, tools, or texts) that can aid teachers and students to carry out the learning process. The two-variable linear equation system (SPLDV) is one of the mathematics materials taught to eighth-grade students of junior high school; it contains problems related to daily life. However, it is found that this material is still difficult to master by most students. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the SPLDV teaching materials that can help students learn and solve problems as well as be used as examples by teachers in developing other materials. This research aimed to make problem-based SPLDV teaching materials. The research method refers to the Four-D Model by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel (1974). It consisted of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The results showed that problem-based SPLDV teaching materials could be used in learning activities as the students and the teachers had shown their positive responses after going through expert assessments. This study also suggested that the teachers use this teaching material and adopt teaching materials for other similar materials.

The purpose of this study was to develop a realistic worksheet using the Ethnomatematics on SPLDV material and to determine the quality of worksheets in terms of validity and practicality. The method used in this study is the Research and Dependency (R&D) method which is a developmental study referring to the 4-D development model, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate modified to 3-D. The instruments used to measure the quality of worksheets that were developed include validation sheets, and practicality questionnaires. The product of this research is a realistic worksheet using ethnomatematics context on SPLDV material with the advice of eighth grade students of junior high school. The results showed that: (1) the quality of worksheets seen from the validity aspects included in the valid category with an overall average score of 3.06; and (2) the quality of worksheets seen from the practical aspect is categorized very practical with an overall average score of 3.5. Conclusion, the development of PMRI-based worksheets in the context of ethnomatematics in SPLDV material was declared valid and practically used by students.
