Generalizing our prior work on scalar multi-Gaussian (MG) distributed optical fields, we introduce the two-dimensional instantaneous electric-field vector whose components are jointly MG distributed. We then derive the single-point Stokes parameter probability density functions (PDFs) of MG-distributed light having an arbitrary degree and state of polarization. We show, in particular, that the intensity contrast of such a field can be tuned to values smaller or larger than unity. We validate our analysis by generating an example partially polarized MG field with a specified single-point polarization matrix using two different Monte Carlo simulation methods. We then compute the joint PDFs of the instantaneous field components and the Stokes parameter PDFs from the simulated MG fields, while comparing the results of both Monte Carlo methods to the corresponding theory. Lastly, we discuss the strengths, weaknesses, and applicability of both simulation methods in generating MG fields.

Abstract: The traditional process of separating and purifying bioactive peptides is laborious and time-consuming. Using a traditional process to identify is difficult, and there is a lack of fast and accurate activity evaluation methods. How to extract bioactive peptides quickly and efficiently is still the focus of bioactive peptides research. In order to improve the present situation of the research, bioinformatics techniques and peptidome methods are widely used in this field. At the same time, bioactive peptides have their own specific pharmacokinetic characteristics, so computer simulation methods have incomparable advantages in studying the pharmacokinetics and pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic correlation models of bioactive peptides. The purpose of this review is to summarize the combined applications of bioinformatics and computer simulation methods in the study of bioactive peptides, with focuses on the role of bioinformatics in simulating the selection of enzymatic hydrolysis and precursor proteins, activity prediction, molecular docking, physicochemical properties, and molecular dynamics. Our review shows that new bioactive peptide molecular sequences with high activity can be obtained by computer-aided design. The significance of the pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic correlation model in the study of bioactive peptides is emphasized. Finally, some problems and future development potential of bioactive peptides binding new technologies are prospected.

The structure of amorphous-crystalline titanite obtained by mechanical activation was studied by X-ray diffraction and simulation methods. The short-range order characteristics were calculated using Finbak-Warren's method. It was found that the coordination numbers of metal atoms decreased as the result of titanite grinding. The atomic configurations of short-range order of ground titanite were constructed by translation of titanite unit cell. The theoretical X-ray patterns were calculated using Debye's method and were compared with the experimental curves. The structure of ground titanite in the mill with centrifugal factor 40 g was described satisfactorily by the model of mechanical mixture of clusters containing 2016 atoms, disordered during the molecular dynamics with clusters containing 12096 atoms. The increase of grinding intensity led to the sharp decrease of sizes of small cluster.

Formulated a position on the feasibility of developing and applying a highly developed simulation models of complex object within scope of justifying of managerial decisions. Selected set of classification factors that determine the performance of a typology of simulation methods. The article reveals the content of the applicable methods of simulation in relation to the procedure of organization of promotion in the model time. The existence of the problem of forming of the simulation method and its principal conceptual solvability by preparation and implementation of research optimization (analysis and/or synthesis of this method) is shown. An innovative extension of the set of these methods is introduced. The considerations concerning the preferred method for application for a certain category of object of modellings - the method of key model events are formulated. The problem of synthesis of a method of combination of group of methods of simulation is allocated.

The purpose of the paper is to specify the definition of communicative competence, civil servant essential to the service (customer-centered) state and methods of their formation. The authors analyze the scientific views as well as the advanced international and Russian experience of forming a customer-oriented communicative competence in the governmental agencies and business structures. It was revealed that the new communicative competence of the public officer is related to the providing of public services and expressed by the skills to identify and fulfill the needs of citizens in direct contact with them. The emotional and digital competencies are emphasized. The latter is expressed in the skill of consulting citizens with the newest digital technologies in front offices. The authors found that in foreign experience the formation of communicative competence is carried out largely by activity methods – in the workplace in real practice, whyle in Russia – by simulation methods that only imitate real conditions.

The inventory and evaluation of growth rates for afforested surfaces is extremely important in estimating production levels and in determining the wood quantities that can be harvested. The present research was realized in southeast Romania, on a surface that contains 375h of afforested fields. The monitored surfaces are situated in Hanu-Conachi Independenta Forest, at a relatively low altitude. The study took into account only the surfaces afforested with willow (Salix alba) and extended between 2010 and 2015. The afforested surfaces’ consistency and age were evaluated based on direct observations and measurements. The used numerical analysis on different optimization methods was selected from amongst the most used series from the specialty literature. Our results have shown that evaluations of estimated production growth rates can vary significantly when different statistical analyses and numeric methods are used. By using numerical optimizing models, computer simulations can offer precise estimations regarding growth rates, and consequently, for the efficiency of a given forest inventory. Common numerical interpolation methods or the usage of neuronal networks do not always lead to consistent results. Specific numeric methods are preferable for a better evaluation of growth rates and current inventory. In addition, investments in computer simulation methods and software should be encouraged in order to reach a permanent inventory, improve the efficiency of exploitation operations, and sustain environmental protection.
