The article discusses the process of selecting points on a rail vehicle in which sensors recording signals will be located, with a view to their later use in the process of monitoring the condition of the vehicle and in particular elements of the first and second degree suspension system. The number of such points and their location is significant considering the complexity of the monitoring system and thus the costs of its construction and subsequent operation, as well as the possibility of using registered signals in the process of diagnosing the technical condition of the vehicle, bearing in mind the functioning of such a system in on-line mode.

The bag filter is a kind of important de-dusting equipment in the power, metallurgy, chemical and building materials industry. Its operation efficiency and running state are two technical indexes of great importance. As for detection of the two indexes, current existing detection methods have various defects. This paper mainly introduces a bag filter on-line monitoring system based on AC charge induction. By using the international advanced AC charge-coupling technology and digital signal processing technology, it can accurately monitor the bag breaking state of filter and put out alarm. In the bag filter on-line monitoring process, the system well solves the technique difficulties of the measuring equipment in such aspects as anti-blocking, wear resistance, low pressure losses, accuracy and reliability, etc. It has the advantages of high measuring accuracy and easy installation and maintenance, therefore, it can bring certain economic benefits and have the prospect of popularization and application.

A comparative study of several recently proposed one-dimensional sedimentation models has been made. This has been achieved by fitting these models to steady-state and dynamic concentration profiles obtained in a down-scaled secondary decanter. The models were evaluated with several a posteriori model selection criteria. Since the purpose of the modelling task is to do on-line simulations, the calculation time was used as one of the selection criteria. Finally, the practical identifiability of the models for the available data sets was also investigated. It could be concluded that the model of Takács et al. (1991) gave the most reliable results.

The Covid-19 restrictions have limited the access of face-to face therapies for many people and continues to effect how Dramatherapists operate. The following article offers reflections around adapting to an on-line medium, focusing more specifically around the software of ProReal. Limitations and considerations are acknowledged, including technological difficulties, computer efficacy, ambiguity tolerance and the need for careful contracting and reassurance of autonomy and control when using on-line platforms. The article ends with a short selection of vignettes from ProReal sessions.

In order to achieve the target of controlling SO2 emissions in fumes in a short period of time in China, a SO2 on-line monitoring system (CEMS) has been developed by the authorased on the principle of electrochemistry. This system consists of two subsystems: (1) SO2 mass concentration monitoring and (2) SO2 flow velocity and flow rate monitoring. In the paper, the procedure of system and working principle and method of SO2 mass concentration monitoring subsystem are described in detail (SO2 flow velocity and flow rate monitoring subsystem is described by another paper). Two subsystems work synchronously to monitor and calculate the SO2 emissions, then the on-line monitoring of SO2 emissions is achieved. Through experiment and testing, monitoring result of the system is stable and reliable, which has reached the national monitoring standards and passed the appraisal.

The vibration can influence the running of devices in the engine room. It is necessary to monitor the vibration state of all running machineries. Through integrating the Bluetooth technology into the common vibration sensor, a wireless on-line vibration monitoring system is designed to monitor all devices. It will be helpful to avoid severe failure and improve the cruising ability.

According to the single battery's series structure in the fuel cell stack, we develop an on-line fuel cell voltage monitoring system, and realize VISA library functions’ call and operation data acquisition and storage successfully in the Delphi development environment. It’s introduced mainly that the monitoring principle, hardware structure, software design and the main feature. The actual application proves that this system has realized high-precision and real-time monitoring of the output voltage of the fuel cell for multi-channel, and has multi-condition operation by setting original parameters easily, thereby, the system has more applicability and well reliability.
