This paper is a study on Corona virus and its effects on human beings in particular and how it has become a global pandemic. The reason for the world’s pandemic, Corona virus is an RNA virus found extensively in mammals including humans. It is found that the most human corona virus infections cause from mild symptoms to severe respiratory problems and lead to death. In the recent past the world has faced two great epidemics caused by two different beta-corona viruses and they were named as SARS-CoV (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus) and (MERS-CoV Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus). Despite these viruses had high infectivity, had less mortality rate. As it is known, these types of viruses, in general, cause a mild illness and considerably affect children and young adults.  As the whole world is facing a pandemic situation today, carrying out research on finding vaccine to kill the virus is a need of the time. It is obvious that to understand the fighting measurements, in other words readiness of the nation in handling the situation, the local risk assessments are considered to be one of the key factors in comprehending COVID-19. It is pathetic to know that this virus spreads rapidly everywhere and considering this fast outbreak, the global wide readiness, building capacity and mutual collaborations among countries are the most important needs in order to control the outbreak.

Background: Seasonality is a characteristic of some respiratory viruses. The aim of our study was to evaluate the seasonality and the potential effects of different meteorological factors on the detection rate of the non-SARS Corona Virus detection by PCR. Methods: We performed a retrospective analysis of 12763 respiratory tract sample results (288 positive and 12475 negative) for non-SARS, non-MERS Corona viruses (NL63, 229E, OC43, HKU1). The effect of seven single weather factors on the Corona virus detection rate was fitted in a logistic regression model with and without adjusting for other weather factors. Results: Corona virus infections followed a seasonal pattern peaking from December to March and plunging from July to September. The seasonal effect was less pronounced in immunosuppressed patients compared to immunocompetent. Different automatic variable selection processes agreed to select the predictors temperature, relative humidity, cloud cover and precipitation as remaining predictors in the multivariable logistic regression model including all weather factors, with low ambient temperature, low relative humidity, high cloud cover and high precipitation being linked to increased Corona virus detection rates. Conclusions: Corona virus infections followed a seasonal pattern, which was more pronounced in immunocompetent patients compared to immunosuppressed. Several meteorological factors were associated with the Corona virus detection rate. However, when mutually adjusting for all weather factors, only temperature, relative humidity, precipitation and cloud cover contributed independently to predicting the Corona virus detection rate.

COVID-19 is one such global pandemic where all of the nightmares are coming true for mankind, to maintain order and stay safe, the only thing that we can do is stay at home. But enclosing ourselves also means that our work is paused; our lives seem to be punctuated. Moreover, the everyday myths and fake news on the media and internet are eating away the remaining self-confidence in human beings. Everyone is in panic; people don’t know what to do; it’s a rush situation where each day is bringing a new horror with it. With the virus spreading like locust storm and unemployment rate soaring high, survival is becoming difficult with normalcy. Governments are reporting new numbers each day, which doesn’t help much to common men, but confirms their probable risk. With fear lurking around, people are getting diseased with hypertension. When the doors to Nature and outside world are closed, slowly, anxiety, depression and other such psychic disorders are affecting people. Psychological problems are on forever high when you have to secure your physical health from Corona virus. The paper attempts to study the proportionate relationship between Corona Virus and mental health disorders in people.

<p>The recent pandemic of novel corona virus infections (COVID19) has put the world on serious alert. This is caused by a recent form of a positive sense RNA virus (nCoV) of coronaviridae family which is known to cause respiratory tract infections in humans. Absence of any specific drugs, vaccines or treatment measures for this deadly virus warrants intense research to design new chemical entities in order to inhibit the viral replication in human cells. The main protease of nCov (nCov-MP) cleaves the long polyprotein chains to release functional proteins required for replication of the virus and thus is a potential drug target. The current study employs state of are computational methods to design new molecules by linking molecular fragments which specifically bind to different constituent sub-pockets of the nCov-MP binding site. A huge library of 191678 fragments was screened against the binding cavity of nCov-MP and high affinity fragments binding to adjacent sub-pockets were tailored to generate new molecules. These newly formed molecules were further subjected to molecular docking, ADMET property filters and MMGBSA binding free energy calculations to select 17 best molecules (named as MP-In1 to Mp-In17), which showed interactions with the key binding site residues as the reference ligand. Nine out of these 17 molecules with better MMGBSA binding free energy than the reference molecule, were subjected to molecular dynamics simulations, which assessed the stabilities of their binding with nCov-MP. Eight molecules were found to form stable complexes with nCov-MP. These molecules can be further evaluated as potential starting points for nCov drug discovery. </p>

Wuhan originated Covid-19 disease is caused by SARC-COV 2 virus. It is a contagious disease it spread all over the world. World health organization declared a global pandemic disease. In Covid-19 immunity plays an important role. In old age people or having other co-morbid conditions the mortality rate is more. Ayurveda has a big role in improved immunity or to intact immunity. The principle of Ayurveda is to keep individual swastha (diseases free). To maintain individual disease-free Ritucharya is one of the important subjects of Ayurveda. Aimed of study is to find out Ritucharya literature from the Ayurveda and modern research specifically Varsha and Sharad ritu. Ritucharya contains dietary regimen, living modification, common medicine, and contraindicated things those changing according to environmental change. Upcoming season in India is Varsha and Sharad ritu. Environmental changes are huge in this season and it directly affected human beings. So this study reveals property of ritu, dietary regimen, living modification, common medicine and contraindicated things in upcoming varsha and sharad ritu.

: The current global pandemic outbreak of a novel type of corona virus termed by World Health Organization as COVID-19 became an grave concern and worry to human health and world economy. Intense research efforts are now underway worldwide to combat and prevent the spread of this deadly disease. This zoonotic virus, a native to bat population is most likely transmitted to human via a host reservoir. Due to its close similarity to previously known SARS CoV (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus) of 2002 and related MERS CoV (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus) of 2012, it is also known as SARS CoV2. But unlike them it is far too infectious, virulent and lethal. Among its various proteins, the surface spike glycoprotein “S” has drawn significant attention because of its implication in viral recognition and host-virus fusion process. A detail comparative analysis of “S” proteins of SARS CoV (now called SARS CoV1), SARS CoV2 (COVID-19) and MERS CoV based on structure, sequence alignment, host cleavage sites, receptor binding domains, potential glycosylation and Cys-disulphide bridge locations has been performed. It revealed some key features and variations that may elucidate the high infection and virulence character of COVID-19. Moreover this crucial information may become useful in our quest for COVID-19 therapeutics and vaccines.

As a global pandemic, COVID-19 shows no sign of letting up. With the control of the epidemic in China, the proportion of patients with severe and critical diseases being cured and discharged from hospital has increased, and the recovery of COVID-19 patients has become an important issue that urgently needs attention and solutions. By summarizing the exercise rehabilitation strategies and progress of SARS in 2003, this paper analyzed the differences in clinical indicators and recovery characteristics of severe pneumonia caused by the two viruses, and provided comprehensive exercise guidance and intervention strategies for COVID-19 patients for rehabilitation and nursing by referring to the problems and treatment strategies in the rehabilitation and nursing work of SARS. In the post-epidemic period, China will build a multi-dimensional epidemic prevention system by improving the effectiveness of mass training and strengthening local risk prevention and control. This paper discusses the exercise rehabilitation strategy of SARS patients after recovery, which has guiding significance for exercise intervention and scientific fitness of COVID-19 patients after recovery during epidemic prevention period.

RNA virus infections can lead to the onset of severe diseases such as fever with haemorrhage, multiorgan failure, and mortality. The emergence and reemergence of RNA viruses continue to pose a significant public health threat worldwide with particular attention to the increasing incidence of flaviviruses, among others Dengue, West Nile Virus, and Yellow Fever viruses. Development of new and potent antivirals is thus urgently needed. Ivermectin, an already known antihelminthic drug, has shown potent effectsin vitroonFlavivirushelicase, with EC50values in the subnanomolar range for Yellow Fever and submicromolar EC50for Dengue Fever, Japanese encephalitis, and tick-borne encephalitis viruses. However ivermectin is hampered in its application by pharmacokinetic problems (little solubility and high cytotoxicity). To overcome such problems we engineered different compositions of liposomes as ivermectin carriers characterizing and testing them on several cell lines for cytotoxicity. The engineered liposomes were less cytotoxic than ivermectin alone and they showed a significant increase of the antiviral activity in all the Dengue stains tested (1, 2, and S221). In the current study ivermectin is confirmed to be an effective potential antiviral and liposomes, as drug carriers, are shown to modulate the drug activity. All together the results represent a promising starting point for future improvement of ivermectin as antiviral and its delivery.
