In this era of communication network, we can access any website or contact any person with the help of internet or telephone anywhere in the world without knowing where the website is hosted and without knowing where the person is located. This all is done within a few seconds very efficiently. But the question comes out how it is done? And the answer is that, it is only done with the help of network routing. In this paper we review the IP routing and its protocols.

The primaryaim of an ad-hoc network routing protocol is accurate and efficient route creation between node pairs so that messages may be delivered promptly. Route creation need to be done with reduced overhead and bandwidth. This paper presents a scheme to reduce bandwidth and power by the hibernation of nodes for a limited time. The effect of our proposal is then studied by simulation under various conditions and the analysis of the simulation results is done to comprehend the working of our protocol in various areas and how it fares in an application specific scenario.

Since the prehistoric era, balneotherapy has been important as a folk therapy in Japan, where the greatest number of hot springs (spas) have been developed, utilized for balneotherapy, and enjoyed by many citizens in the world. In the last centuries, however, hot spring areas chose the “economic rational behavior” to convert from balneotherapy resorts to commercialized amusement and entertainment resorts for the purpose of economic development. This chapter describes this history and then casts light on the blind spots thus far ignored in one-disciplinary approaches. Using a multidisciplinary approach, this chapter views the problems in the medical, behavioral, regional and national dimensions. Then, this chapter explores the sustainable systems of balneotherapy-centered region and the strategies to reconvert hot spring resorts to balneotherapeutic resorts in the sense of modern medicine and hygiene. This chapter proposes the utilization of medical electronic apparatuses and medical communication network systems to promote medical tourism in local areas. Finally, this chapter discusses the acceptability of the strategies to the medical and local communities.

Currently, IT systems require more and more reliability. It can be guaranteed only by using redundancy both in the connectivity and network devices. The authors attempted to measure the convergence time for EIGRP and OSPF routing protocols after link or network nodes failure. Research have been conducted with the real devices and hardware traffic generator. In case of both protocols, failures have been simulated in various places in the network topology. On this basis, time in which tested protocol restored full connectivity for a specific topology with backup links have been precisely determined. Knowledge of the time required to restore the network after a failure can be useful during designing services based on networks with implemented routing. This can improve a tolerance of connectivity interruptions.

Routing technology is one of the main supporting technologies of wireless sensor networks. Only by using routing algorithm reasonably or finding better routing optimization algorithm, can the function of wireless sensor networks be maximized. Therefore, the research of routing technology for wireless sensor networks has important theoretical and practical significance. Based on the analysis of existing routing protocols in wireless sensor networks, this paper focuses on LEACH protocol.
