AbstractUniform multi-dimensional designs of experiments for effective research in computer modelling are highly demanded. The combinations of several one-dimensional quasi-random sequences with a uniform distribution are used to create designs with high homogeneity, but their optimal choice is a separate problem, the solution of which is not trivial. It is believed that now the best results are achieved using Sobol’s LPτ-sequences, but this is not observed in all cases of their combinations. The authors proposed the creation of effective uniform designs with guaranteed acceptably low discrepancy using recursive Rd-sequences and not requiring additional research to find successful combinations of vectors set distributed in a single hypercube. The authors performed a comparative analysis of both approaches using indicators of centred and wrap-around discrepancies, graphical visualization based on Voronoi diagrams. The conclusion was drawn on the practical use of the proposed approach in cases where the requirements for the designs allowed restricting to its not ideal but close to it variant with low discrepancy, which was obtained automatically without additional research.

The purpose of the article is to study trends and identify problems of budgetary provision of the development of Zaporizhzhia region in the context of budgetary decentralization reform. Methods of systematic and comparative analysis, graphical visualization, generalization and statistical methods were used for the study. The article examines the impact of decentralization reform on the financial provision of social and economic development of administrative and territorial units of Zaporizhzhia region. The comparative analysis of the budgetary provision of the development of Zaporizhzhya region and other regions of the Central region is conducted. The article describes the trends and problems of Zaporizhzhya region development. The following positive trends were revealed: increase of revenues to local budgets of the region; reduction of transfer dependence of the region on the state budget; formation of high-taxation CTCs. The negative tendencies of development were: increase of differentiation of financial provision of the development of the regional center and other administrative and territorial units, reduction of the growth rate of revenues to the development budget of Zaporizhzhia region. Attention is drawn to the fact that under the conditions of decentralization reform and administrative and territorial reform, consolidated territorial communities are actively being formed in the Zaporizhzhya region, most of them with high financial capacity, which testifies to the high potential of regional development. The article analyzes the regional target programs of Zaporizhzhia region and clarifies the possibilities of their integration with the Action Plans for implementation of the Regional Development Strategies. The dominance of the social component over the development of regional target programs and low level of implementation of a number of programs are emphasized.

The two-dimensional and two-phase model of the gas-liquid mixture is constructed. The validity of numerical model realization is justified by using a comparative analysis of test problems solution with one-dimensional calculations. The regularities of gas-saturated liquid outflow from axisymmetric vessels for different geometries are established.

The key task of the tool manufacturing is to create or to choose such a type of tool, which would permit to provide high processing efficiency, the best tool`s workability and the quality of the machined surfaces with minimum expenses and resources. The optimal choice of the constructive tool modifications from a variety of options takes much time required for the preparation of the tool to work. To solve this problem, we have developed software that allows you to create, organize and carry out a comparative analysis of structural instruments in order to identify rational option for the given conditions of production. Ordering and selection of a rational design of the instrument is carried out in accordance with established procedures of modeling and comparative analysis of design solutions. Application software can reduce design time technological process by 80...90%, and get a substantial annual economic effect.

The present work presents a description of various cutting devices with an emphasis on skin surgery for the optimal choice of instruments in plastic surgery. Physical principles of work with a description of the biological role of an ultrasonic scalpel, various laser cutting devices, electrosurgical instruments, including radiofrequency electrosurgery, are described. Studies of recent years, including systematic reviews and meta-analyzes, are devoted to comparative analysis of various cutting and coagulating devices among themselves and in comparison with the mechanical metal scalpel.

This paper assigns optimum capillary discharge characteristics with respect to reaching the maximum emission gain on wavelength l = 18.2 nm and corresponding to Balmer α transition H-like carbon. The computer modelling of the capillary discharge evolution is carried out using the NPINCH programme, using a one-dimensional physical model based on MHD equations. The information about the capillary discharge evolution is processed in FLY, FLYPAPER, FLYSPEC programmes, enabling the population to be modelled on specific levels during capillary discharge.
