The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of sukuk rating announcement event upon market reaction in company which registered at Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) from 2011 until 2015 using average abnormal return during five days before and after event. The type of data used in this research is secondary data which obtained from financial statements publishing by capital market reference center that existed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used in this research is study case with the total of the population is 7 companies. Method used in this research is purposive sampling which yielded 5 companies sample for sukuk rating announcement event. Meanwhile, the examination of hypothesis used is event study method. The result of this research illustrate that sukuk rating announcement event did not give an impact upon market reaction. However, in case of considering each variable, there is a difference between before and after the occurrence of sukuk rating announcement event.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh profitabilitas, peluang pertumbuhan dan leverage terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari laporan keuangan perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder dengan mengamati dengan mengunjungi metode analisis data Pusat Informasi Pasar Modal (PIPM) menggunakan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: secara parsial, variabel profitabilitas dan peluang pertumbuhan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan, sedangkan leverage berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan. This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, growth opportunities and leverage on firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange. The data in this study were obtained from the financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. This study uses secondary data by observing by visiting the Capital Market Information Center (PIPM) data analysis method using the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that: partially, profitability and growth opportunities variables had a positive and significant effect on firm value, while leverage had a negative and significant effect on firm value.

This study aimed to examine and analyze the effect of liquidity, profitability, company size and ownership structure on capital structure in companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2008-2010. The population of this research is all manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2008-2010 and published financial statements on December 31 for the fiscal year 2008-2010. This was a censuses research since all population sampled. Data used in this research is secondary data in the form of financial statements in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2008-2010. Data collection was done by the documentation and classifies data based on the financial statements of the criteria determined. Data  required in this research obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) and the Capital Market Reference Center (PRPM) to address the Indonesia Stock Exchange Building Tower 2 1st Floor, Sudirman street Lot 52-53 Jakarta 12190. Based on these criteria, 114 companies obtained to be the target of Population.The results of this study indicate that both simultaneously, liquidity, profitability, company size, and ownership structure affect firm capital structure. Partially, variable profitability and ownership structure has a positive effect, while the variable size of the companiy’s and liquidity negative affect the capital structure of the manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2008-2010.  Keywords: Liquidity, Profitability, Company Size and Ownership Structure, Capital Structure

The capital market plays an importance role in an economy and provides the opportunity to the investor for the mobilization and channelization of funds. Nepalese capital market is in growing and improving phase. The objective of this study is to analyze the evaluation of the existing status of the capital market in term of its composition of types of the capital market and to examine the impact of capital mobilization in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and to examine the contribution of capital market in financial resources and GDP. Besides, the study examines the share transaction in Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) and its impact on NEPSE Index. The study period of 2000/01 to 2018/19 has been used for study purposes. Through the use of descriptive research design, the trends of capital market development track after 2000/01 to present status has been presented. Secondary data are analyzed through the use of regression and other descriptive statists to convert the information into data. The result indicates that the ordinary shares in the primary capital market and market capitalization in the secondary market has significant contribution for the capital market in Nepal. Also, the study reveals that there is a significant and positive impact of capital mobilization on GDP and the number of share transactions on the NEPSE Index in the Nepalese capital market. Hence there is a significant contribution of the capital market for financial resources mobilization and GDP of Nepal. The study reports for modernization and systematization of the capital market need more optimal efforts from concerned stakeholders.

<p><em>The objective of this research was to analyze the impact of ex-dividend date announcement in Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) on stock return during the period of 2000- 2004. This research takes 25 corporation samples which are divided into two groups, namely increasing dividend group and decreasing dividend group. The method used in this research is event study that observed the stock return movement in capital market. The observation period was during 15 days before and 15 days after ex-dividend date. In order to examine the existence of price reaction, the abnormal return was conducted during the event period towards the increasing dividend group and decreasing dividend group. The independent variable used was dividend declaration (increasing dividend and decreasing dividend) and dependent variable used was stock return. The calculation of this research using paired sample t test, was to prove if there is any stock return differences between before and after ex-dividend date announcement with<br /> the presence of increasing dividend declaration and decreasing dividend declaration in Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX). The result of this research had shown two conclutions that for the increasing dividend group, there were no stock return (abnormal return) diffrerence between before and after ex-dividend date due to the increasing dividend declaration in Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) and for the decresing dividend group there was stock return (abnormal<br /> return) difference between before and after ex-dividend date due to decresing dividend declaration in Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX).</em></p>

The purpose of this research was to investigate whether foreign ownership and government ownership have an impact on audit quality and whether audit quality has an impact on market reaction. The population used in this research are all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with the research period 2015-2017. The method of determining the sample using purposive sampling with certain criteria and using secondary data so that only 102 companies were selected to used being sample, The method of analysis used linear regression analysis using SPSS 20. The results of this research show that foreign ownership has a positive but not significant impact on audit quality. Government ownership has a positive and significant impact on audit quality. While audit quality has a positive and significant impact on market reaction. The implication is foreign and government ownership are expected to use Public Accounting Firm with good competence and experience capable of evaluating and verifying financial statements so thai it is free from mistakes that will improve the credibility of financial statements, and increasing the confidance of users of financial statements such as shareholders,creditors. So it will affect the company stock price.

This study examines the impact of capital market reforms on the Nigerian economic growth between 1981 and 2010. The prevailing challenges in the World financial markets; especially the capital market justifies the various forms of reforms going on around the World. The ordinary least square method of regression and the Johansen co-integration analysis were employed to analyse the secondary data sourced from the Central Bank of Nigeria statistical bulletin, the Nigeria Stock Exchange Fact book and the Nigeria Security and Exchange Commission Reports. The results show that capital reforms positively impact the economic growth. The study recommends among others that government should objectively evaluate enacted laws and reforms agenda in a manner that will enhance economic growth rather than considering political issues before embarking on reforms.

This study aimed to examine whether there are differences in the profitability of a company before and after winning TOP CSR. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the financial statements of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2008-2017. The sample of this study consisted of 17 companies using purposive sampling, ie companies that won TOP CSR from 2011-2017, companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and companies that had issued 3 years of financial statements after winning the CSR TOP. The variable used in this study is profitability which is proxied by Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE) and Net Profit Margin (NPM). Hypothesis testing is carried out by Paired Sample T-test using the IBM SPSS Version 20 software. Based on the tests carried out, it can be concluded that there are differences in profitability as seen from the ROA side, whereas when viewed from the ROE and NPM side it is not there are differences in profitability.

The timeliness of submitting financial statements is a rule that must be applied by all companies. Based on the Decree of the Chairperson of the Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisors with number: KEP-431/BL/2012 stating that public companies that have effective registration must submit annual reports to BAPEPAM and LK no later than four months after the end of the financial year. This study aims to examine the effect of profitability, liquidity, solvency and firm size on the timeliness of financial statement submission. The population in this study is a consumer goods manufacturing sector manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample was selected as many as 21 companies using the purposive sampling method. The analytical method is logistic regression. The data used is secondary data obtained through the web.idx.id website in the form of annual financial statements for the periode 2013-2017. The development of capital market activities can not be separated from the role of investors as investors and disclosure of information as consideration of investor decision making.This research aims to find out how the capital market reacts before Bank Indonesia's decision on interest rates.And to find out how the capital market reacted after Bank Indonesia's decision on interest rates.This research uses quantitative research that is event study. Data collection of financial statements at the Investment Gallery of the Indonesia Stock Exchange, University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo.The population in this study includes LQ45 companies that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with sampling techniques namely total sampling.Data analysis using T-test. The results of this study prove that there is a difference in the average abnormal return before and after Bank Indonesia's decision on interest rates as evidenced by the value of Sig.(2-tailed) is 0.000 less than 0.005 and there is a difference in average trading volume activity before and after Bank Indonesia's decision on interest rates as evidenced by the value of Sig.(2-tailed) 0.000 less than 0.005.

Currently, the economy and capital market in Indonesia are experiencing a decline in performance due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted to analyze whether there is a difference in the return of shares in the transportation sub-sector and UBS gold to the current COVID-19 pandemic, by looking at changes in prices 7 days before and 7 days after the announcement of the COVID- 19 Pandemic announced by President Joko Widodo on March 2, 2020. The phenomena contained in this study were carried out by the event study with the abnormal return technique. This study using data in the form of secondary data and data taken by time series. The sample used in this research is data on the closing price of 7 days of 1-gram UBS pure gold before and after the COVID-19 pandemic and 23 shares of the transportation sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data analysis used abnormal return, normality test, and paired sample t-test using IBM SPSS. This study found that there was no difference in the abnormal return of shares in the transportation sub-sector and UBS Gold at the time of the announcement of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia by Joko Widodo.
