This research is the development of the use of Lapindo mud and mycorrhizae as a planting medium. Lapindo mud contains nutrients such as N, P, K, Na, Ca, Mg, C organic and has a high cation exchange capacity. Mycorrhizae can increase the length of plant roots and are resistant to stress and soils contaminated with heavy metals. The study was arranged using a Randomized Block Design with factorial patterns, the first factor being the planting medium (A) and the second factor was mycorrhizae (P). The first factor is Lapindo mud and cow manure; Lapindo mud and goat manure; Lapindo mud and chicken manure with a ratio of 50%: 50%, respectively. From these two factors, 9 treatment combinations were obtained, namely A1P1, A1P2, A1P3, A2P1, A2P2, A2P3, A3P1, A3P2, and A3P3. Each treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 27 experimental units. From the study found that there is a real interaction in providing a combination of planting media and mycorrhizae on the growth and yield of mustard plants. The best treatment combination was shown in the combination treatment of planting media (Lapindo mud and cow manure) with 10 gr mycorrhizae / plants (A1P2) on all observations (plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh and dry weight of plants, root length, weight, weight wet and dry weight of root of mustard plants and absorption of heavy metal content).

Onion (Allium ascolanicum L.) is not only popular as cooking spices in Indonesia but also throughout the world. Onion that has high economic value, has its own attraction to be cultivated by farmers. However, farmers often face some problems in onion farming. Problems were faced by farmers related to social economic conditions both internal, external and natural conditions. Fertilizer application for onion can use inorganic and organic fertilizer materials. The use of inorganic fertilizers without the addition of organic fertilizers over a long period of time, suspected to cause a decrease in soil physical and chemical capabilities, with the application of solid and liquid organic fertilizer is predicted to be more effective because the elements are more than one element. The use of fertilizers and organic matter through soil is often inefficient because of the fixation by soil particles. Liquid fertilizers administered overcome gapnutrients during growth. Herbafarm liquid organic fertilizer is a type of liquid fertilizer released by PT. Sidomuncul herbafarm which contains bio protectant, processed from by products of medicinal products made from raw medicinal plants and spices. Herbafarm contains macro and micro nutrients and also organic compounds that are essential for the growth and development of plants. This research was conducted in Sidera village, Biromaru sub-district, Sigi regency, Central Sulawesi Province. This study used a Randomized Block Design consisting of 5 treatment levels: P0 = control, P1 = 1 ml/liter of water, P2 = 2 ml/Liter of water, P3 = 3 ml/liter of water, and P4 = 4 ml/liter of water. All treatments were repeated 4 (four) times, so that there were 5 treatments each time 4 replicates = 20 experimental units. The results of this research were the best herbafarm POC on the treatment of     4 ml/liter of water that was on the parameters of plant height of  33,56 cm, leaves number  as much as 30. 63 blades, total dry weight of crop 9.99 g, number of tubers per family of 8.13 fruit, tuber diameter  of 20.26 mm, tuber length of  34.55 mm, fresh tuber weight per family of 32.57 g, tuber water content of 114.54 g and Weight of tuber per hectare 8.68 ton.ha-1.

The soybean (Glycine max L.) plant is economically important for the food and animal feed industries due to its nutritional qualities. Soybean crops are highly productive and responsive to new technologies. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of Penergetic-P and Penergetic-K on the dry weight of shoot (DWS), dry weight of root (DWR), total dry weight (DWT), dry weight of nodules (DWN), number of nodules per plant (NNP), level of N in the shoot (NS), chlorophyll index, plant height and soybean yield. The experiment was conducted in a randomized block design with three replications. The means were compared by ANOVA and Duncan test (p ≤ 0.05). Differences among treatments for NNP were not significantly evident, but observed for DWN. The application of Penergetic-K in soil increased significantly the DWN in comparison with the application of only NPK and micronutrients. The DWR, DWS, DWT and the DWS/DWR ratio didn’t differ significantly among the treatments as well as the chlorophyll index and NS. The grain yield was significantly lower with the addition of NPK + micronutrients and significantly higher with the addition of Penergetic-K. The Penergetic-K promoted an increased soybean yield, up to 20% compared to the treatment with only NPK + micronutrients. It was concluded that the use of Penergetic benefits the soybean production and the soil quality.
