AbstractImplementation of ISO Quality Management System (QMS) at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim (Maliki) Malang shows the spirit of the modernization of the campusmanagement system. Application of ISO QMS is intended to facilitate the leaders of thecampus to meetStandard of BAN-PT while building TQM. This research is focused on thecomparative analysis of the implementation of ISO QMS, the role of Standard of BANPTandapplicationofTQMinUINMalikiMalang.Theapproachusedisqualitativeresearch,withdatacollectiontechniquessuchasinterviews,observationanddocumentstudy.Thisresearchfindsthat,amongothers,UIN’sleadersandinternalstakeholdershavesoughttoimplementtheclausesofISOQMScorrectlyandconsistently;andandincreasetheinvolvement of academicians in sustainable campus quality improvementefforts. Implementation of QMS ISO becomesa medium to fulfill the Standard of BANPTas wellas the foundation for the implementation of TQM.

The ISO 9001:2008 quality management system is one of the implementation forms of total quality management (TQM) concept. This total quality management system requires an organization to have standards such as resource management standards, product realization, measurement and evaluation, and documentation system. The purpose of ISO 9001:2008 quality management systemis toimprovecustomer satisfaction by fulfilling customer requerements through complete facilities, profesional teachers, achievement improvement and many others. This research used qualitative approach with field research design. The results obtained that performance of theachers in SMA Darul Ulum 2 Unggulan BPPT Jombang has a good predicate and implementation of ISO 9001:2008 quality management system run well with the commitment of school principals and all the citizens of the school, and take the field. the ISO allows teachers to continue to learn and improve performance. That is also supported by commitment from high school princupals and high schoolcommunity by continuously improving the quality of work and there is a complete facility to facilitate school activities. so far, not many obstacles are heavy when schools use the ISO 9001:2008 management system, it just takes adjustment for each member to use this ISO management system.

Abstract: The Implementation of Total Quality Management in Waqf Management of the Dompet Dhuafa. This article raises issues about the total quality management (TQM) in waqf management. TQM is a major issue in management, especially for large companies, in a framework to increase the quality of product output and to satisfy customers. TQM nowadays is not only adopted by profit oriented companies but also non-profit institutions. For example, the Dompet Dhuafa has achieved Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 certification. This article concludes that the implementation of TQM in waqf management of the Dompet Dhuafa is relatively advanced since it gives serious attention to customers, both external dan internal. Similarly with process improvement and total involvement, Dompet Duafa  points to enthusiasm of planned and structured improvement as well as involving all elements of the organization comprehensively.Keywords: waqf, total quality management, waqf managementAbstrak: Implementasi Total Quality Management dalam Pengelolaan Wakaf  di Dompet Dhuafa. Tulisan ini mengangkat isu tentang total quality management (TQM) dalam pengelolaan wakaf. TQM merupakan salah satu terobosan manajemen yang umumnya dilakukan oleh perusahaan besar dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas produk yang pada muaranya dapat memuaskan konsumen.  TQM tidak hanya diadopsi oleh lembaga-lembaga yang berorientasi pada keuntungan material (profit oriented) namun juga lembaga-lembaga yang berbasis non profit (non-profit oriented). Salah satunya adalah Dompet Dhuafa yang telah berhasil meraih sertifikat Sistem Manajemen Mutu ISO 9001:2008. Tulisan ini menyimpulkan bahwa Implementasi nilai TQM dalam pengelolaan wakaf di Dompet Dhuafa dapat dikatakan relatif maju karena perhatian lembaga ini kepada pelanggan, baik eksternal maupun internal, cukup bagus. Begitu pula dalam hal perbaikan proses dan keterlibatan total, Dompet Dhuafa menunjukkan semangat perbaikan yang terencana dan terstruktur serta melibatkan semua elemen organisasi secara komprehensif.Kata Kunci: wakaf, total quality management, manajemen wakafDOI: 10.15408/ajis.v12i1.983

It is clear that ISO 9000 Quality Management System and Total Quality Management have an extensive literature. However, it is observed that the literature principally focuses on implementation consequences of them. In this study, ISO 9000 Quality Management System certification process in a faculty of a Turkish public university is taken into consideration. However, the study focuses on not only consequences of taking this certification but also its' triggers and processes. To examine these triggers, processes and consequences, data collection methods of the study were semi-structured interviews and unstructured participative observation. In addition, extensive amount of document was used to make triangulation.

The main objective of this study was to examine the effect of total quality management system (TQM) on organisation performance along with the mediating effect of organisation learning in Nepali Service sector. The relationship between the TQM system, organisation learning and organisation performance was examined using Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis was conducted to test the hypotheses. Data was collected from 240 respondents (i.e., 118 from the ISO certified and 122 from non-ISO certified organisations). The findings of this study suggested that total quality management system had a significant positive effect on organisation performance and organisation learning mediated the relationship between total quality management system and organisation performance. Out of the seven dimensions of the TQM system only top management support, workforce management, customer relations, supplier quality management and process flow management had a significant positive effect on organisation performance. The results of the independent sample t-test further confirmed the high level of organisation performance in ISO certified organisations.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to discuss the effect of the ISO 9001 quality management system on customer satisfaction and show an application of an analytic hierarchy process (AHP)-based method for measuring the customer satisfaction index (CSI). This will be useful to anyone who wants to have an ISO 9001 quality management system in his or her organization. Design/methodology/approach – This paper describes an ISO 9001 quality management implementation process based on ISO 9001 requirements, and uses the AHP method for weighting effective criteria on customer satisfaction. All data were obtained via questionnaires and assessed with EXPERT CHOICE 11 software. Findings – According to the results of the weighting, the factors influencing the satisfaction of a kitchen worktops customer, price and sales terms of this product has a significant impact on customer satisfaction and, in competitive conditions, this criterion has a determining role in the creation of utility for customers. ISO 9001 quality management system has been able to increase the CSI within an 11-month period of study. Originality/value – This paper is the first to use the AHP method with a new approach in a case study, offering a complete, comprehensive method for assessing customer implications.

ABSTRACT: For effective management of each company, it is important to have the most accurate overview of your costs, and this also applies to quality management. Within the framework of compliance with the principles of management according to ISO 9001, this is a process principle and the principle of continuous improvement. Organizations can use different models for this. The main goal of the paper was to find out whether in a specific company with an established quality management system, quality expenditures are effectively spent on the basis of the extended PAF model (Prevention Appraisal and Failure). The development of total quality costs in the years 2003-2017 in thous. CZK, in the costs of external and internal defects, wasted investments and opportunities, environmental damage, evaluation expenses and expenses on prevention and improvement. The share of individual quality expenditures was also monitored against sales, the values of which for all groups of expenditures were within the recommended range, so it can be stated that due to production, the performance of the quality management system according to the PAF model is at a good level.
